Wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable and sold us the right camera for our needs.

This shop appeared at the end of the«strip» of shops that is Uptown, Sedona like a mirage, and I couldn’t believe my luck! I had been meaning to get a UV filter(think sunglass(es) for your camera lens) for a while, but just hadn’t gotten around to it. So here we are, in one of the most beautiful, SUNNY(!!!) locations I’ve been to in FOREVER, and without much hope of finding this filter, stumbled upon this wonderful store that had exactly what I needed. Bonus points for the patient, knowledgeable owner for exactly understanding my very inexpert description of what I wanted/needed. Didn’t get his name, but he’s SUPER helpful, and offered some great hints to get the best shots of the wonderful Red Rocks, and all the other amazing things to see in this area. YES, they are probably more expensive here than a similar store back home(if you can still find one!!) and their inventory is somewhat limited, but this is a PERFECT place for anyone who finds themselves coming up short in the photography dept. in this beautiful part of the country. They will save your butt, and your trip!!!

It was so nice to find someone that knew what I was asking! Had everything I needed and let me test lenses.

Thank you Rollies. The battery in my Canon Ixus had given out just before arriving in Sedona. A quick Unilocal search and we discover we are 5 minutes away; a phone call tells us we have 45 minutes until you close & that you probably stock the battery. We arrive, you have the battery, the price is about what we expected and I am happy, happy, happy!

In coming to Sedona I discovered that I had left the battery charger to my camera at home. We visited the store to check out prices for new battery or another charger. We knew both would probably be expensive. Since our camera was so new he had no batteries that would fit it. He also had no chargers for sale in the store that would work. But he had a charger of his own that worked. So he kept our camera for the afternoon & charged it for us with a charge of $ 5.00. Very reasonable. Also the gentleman was very friendly.

While visiting Sedona, we forgot our camera. Sedona is NOT the place to forget your camera and since Rollie’s is apparently the only place less than an hour away to get a camera that’s not disposable they could take advantage of people. Well, they don’t. We received EXCELLENT service, they took their time helping us find they camera that fit our needs and that was in our budget. The prices were fair, and they even programmed the time and date on our new camera and loaded the memory card before sending us on our way.

We were in town visiting from Ohio. The gentleman who helped us at Rollies was very helpful and very friendly. This is the only real camera store in an area that gets a lot of traffic from tourists. Amazingly, they are quite fairly priced! Wish I’d been in the market for another camera because I’d be happy to support them with more business. Highly recommended.

We have visited Rollie’s every time we’ve been in Sedona since the 80s and have always had excellent service. In the early days we might have stopped by for film and/or batteries. More recently it’s been for camera cases. Alan often will discuss cameras w/the people behind the counter while I visit The Blue Eyed Bear and flirt w/jewelry. Today we were in to purchase a case for my new camera. We discovered in Bryce that my other, newish camera didn’t take good landscape photos. I was not pleased, because I’d given my 570 to Tam when I got that one and I had liked the 570. Alan researched cameras and came up the this one, a Canon PowerShot A3100IS. He ordered it from Amazon and had it shipped us at Los Abrigados, so it had no case. I’d been using the case from Alan’s little camera, leaving it naked. We went out before noon to beat the afternoon heat. We checked out 3 camera cases that were around the right size and were the right color. The one I liked best was a scosh big, so I tried my camera in the other two and one fit perfectly, so we bought it. Afterward we chatted w/the man who helped us about the changes in Sedona over the years, etc.
