I’ve been here to have drinks with friends and, more recently, to eat with my son and it does seem better suited for drinks. My son and I had dinner here last night and we enjoyed our burgers very much. He had a bacon cheeseburger, while I was daring and had the 1 lb. burger. I have a picture of it here somewhere. Of course I had a great time-I was with my son.

Went here and wasn’t impressed! The food was just ok, maybe it was just the day but sorry won’t go back here again! I’d rather have McDonalds!

To say today’s service was slow is an understatement. There seemed to be enough staff in the signature teal polo shirts to stand around and talk but not to come over and greet us. We don’t eat here often but after this experience we will be making sure to eat at another Resturant before a movie. The food is well good but not good enough for the lack of service we went in a little hungry but wound up becoming very hungry by the time our food hit the table. I’m not sure what took so long we ordered normal burgers no changes made to our order or any special requests but it took over 40 mins to get our meal in a Resturant was less then have full of patrons but packed with employees. I suggest you think twice about having a cheeseburger in a less then stellar paradise

I came here on November 15, 2015 in the afternoon with a good friend for a birthday lunch. I had been here before, a while back and the food & service was great. Happy to say, I still have that opinion. We ordered 2 Coronita Ritas and FREAKINYUMMMM Is all I have to say. My friend ordered the Aloha burger, a bit unconventional(teriyaki, pineapple salsa) she enjoyed it. I ordered the Swiss Mushroom burger well done french fries and a side of cole slaw. The burger was hot, juicy, with buttery mushrooms, smothered with the perfect amount of Swiss Cheese paring well with my gigantic beer infused margherita. The coleslaw is my favorite restaurant coleslaw, creamy light sweet, and fresh. My french fries were a nice compliment to the meal, not heavy or overbearing or greasy, allowing my gullet to concentrate on the burger and my über margherita. Our server was polite, attentative, making ZERO mistakes with our order. Service being very important to me as it sets the mood/tone for the dining experience. So he gets an A+. Overall a pleasurable and highly palatable dining experience.

I used to get their pressed burger all the time with a veggie patty– it was sooo good! I haven’t been here in years because I didn’t come to this area any more, and have learned that they no longer make the pressed burger :( But– they still have fried pickles! I love the atmosphere of this place and the silly fruit faces on the drinks!

My local chill spot. I enjoy coming here on a Fridays or Saturdays because after 10PM they have a DJ who plays music and host karaōke. I usually sit at the bar so i can’t really comment on the table service. The food is not great but good for the price. The Bartenders are friendly and attentive. Drinks are not that strong but for the price you can drink as much as you like. Oh! and they are Kid Friendly however i wouldn’t recommend you take them after 10PM.

I’ve been here several times over the past few months, after not going here for a long time. The food and service used to be awful. The new management team is doing a fine job. It’s obvious there’s new blood here. Michelle was a delight yesterday and handled everyone at the bar quite nicely. No complaints at all about the food. I’ve had multiple items now, and have yet to be disappointed. Beer is cold, food is great, service well above outstanding. Solid 5 stars.

I do like cheeseburger Dont get me wrong but if red robin had the same prices I’d choose the red robin one blocks down. The burgers are pretty good but every time I come here they forget something I ordered on my burger(I usually put an egg, fried onions, and jalepeneos) and its not the waiters fault I always see it on my receipt its the cooks. The fact they use brioche bread and butter it makes the burger pretty greasy. The fries are awesome and so are the pretzel bites. The drinks are usually inconsistent. Even though they are delicious they are either lacking of alcohol or have wayyy too much. If this place can become more consistent and not forget things on my order 95% of the time it would be a great place. We mostly come here because is a great bang for your buck and the atmosphere is fun during football nights.

So a few weeks ago we went to your restaurant and had a bad experience, so we thought we would try again… Today was extremely gross and disgusting there was a ton of flies in the restaurant that kept landing on our food. One even crawled out from underneath my hamburger bun. I alerted our waitress who then notified the manager who really didn’t have an explanation for all of the Flies except for the fact that they opened the gates early in the morning. . He compt our bill, we tipped our waitress, and walked out. Never Again. .. We used to love Cheeseburger in Paradise great atmosphere, great food, great drinks.. The past 2 visits have been very disappointing!!!

The food is mediocre. The drinks are terrible. We ordered mojitos and my friend’s was so strong it was unbearable to drink so that was sent back immediately and replaced with red sangria that was actually a strange light pink color. None of us finished any of the drinks we ordered. The service was terrible, wings and a few drinks took us almost 2 hours, we asked for water and it never came until we were leaving and we had to ask for the check multiple times. Definitely will not be back.

If your idea of paradise is sitting outside looking across the street at a Raymour & Flanigan in the distance, this is your lucky day! In fairness, the outside area isn’t bad. It’s pretty roomy and comfortable. The inside is an attempt at «tropical». Bottom line, the cheeseburgers are not very good. The meat is kind of grey and tasteless, and to make up for that they pile lots of crap on top of them and call them different things: Aloha Burger, Hickory Burger, Baja Burger, etc. Their signature burger, the Cheeseburger in Paradise(burger, pulled pork, onion straws, cheese, fried pickles, etc.) is simply awful. Even the $ 1.99 margaritas didn’t help.

I really do like this place but today was one of those days where the waiters were just not in the building, took us forever to get a waiter and that’s because my friend had to walk to the front and request one after we were waiting for a while. Then finally our server Brandy came and took our order, he checked back to see if we needed anything else, I asked for the sauce that comes with the onion strings and I had half of my burger before he remembered to bring the sauce… Ehh I guess it can happen to anyone, but it wasn’t that busy for him to forget.

I’ve been to this location many times since it opened. I recently went and noticed that they changed their menu(haven’t been there in almost a year). I was really excited for the new options so I decided to try something new. Please note I usually order the Baja burger which is delicious and I’ve tried their chocolate nachos in the past and was not a fan. This time I opted for the shrimp tacos with fries on the side and avocado salsa. Our party of 4 also shared the buffalo wings. First off our server was really nice and patient with us. The wings were reeeeaaalllyyyy good! Wasn’t a huge fan of the tacos bc it felt like all lettuce and not much shrimp. The avocado salsa was good and the fries were delicious as usual. Overall this place is good for what it is… A chill chain restaurant with a tropical feel. I wouldn’t come here for an amazing meal though.

This was a pretty decent place. The burgers were on point(all three of us opted for the Buffalo patty option-super yum), and we had garlic wings as an appetizer. We were trying to pre-game before seeing Ant-Man but it was impossible to get a buzz; I think they water down the alcohol? Or just drown it in sugar… Wednesdays are Bingo Night so that was a pretty fun way to pass the time while waiting for our food. The waitress also checked on us frequently so no complaints about slow service here. Overall I’d probably come back here again.

I had the guacamole bacon burger with sweet potato fries and it was pretty good. For a refreshment, I had the Island Paradise, that was really good. I’ve come here twice for lunch and it’s never crowded however service can be a bit slow.

We stopped going here because they went downhill and also discontinued menu items we liked. We figured we’d give it another try today and left disappointed. Food is still on the below average side and the prices have also increased greatly. The tables and menu were also disgustingly sticky and the addition of televisions all over the place was annoying. This isn’t a sports bar! I doubt we will come here again.

This is a chain with a kitschy theme but if you’re gonna have a theme, tropical is the way to go since if a place in a Jersey outdoor mall can remind me a little of Florida that’s a plus in my book. The burgers are at a chain restaurant so don’t expect miracles here but they’re fresh, tasty, and come with some unique toppings. The Aloha comes with teriyaki sauce, cheddar cheese, grilled onions and pineapple salsa. The flavors work well together and the burger is tasty, the fries seem average frozen and aren’t anything special. The fried pickles are thin with a light breading and are worth a try as a side dish to share with the table. The service here was very friendly and this place is worth a try to get an acceptable faux tropical experience on a cold, rainy Jersey night.

Cheeseburger in Paradise is A-OK. It was packed on Cinco de Mayo. Three of us had dinner on a weeknight and it was 65% filled with customers. The Mexican food is ok. I had the Chicken Enchiladas and they were fine. We waited a long time for our food and you could tell the servers were very busy.

I had to go with three stars for this place. Been here a few times over the years and I have never had a grand experience or a horrible experience either. Cute establishment with fun strong cocktails and a friendly wait staff. They also have a decent happy hour with half priced food and drinks. Clean bathrooms which is always a plus. However, I must say that the service in General is pretty slow and the burgers here in no way shape or form meet up to their expectations. I honestly feel I can get better burgers elsewhere for a better price. I can say the same for the rest of the food there as well, I feel like all of it meets up to the expectations of frozen bar food. This place is great for groups, have outdoor and indoor seating along with seats at the bar. My advice when here is to drink up and eat elsewhere!
