One of the best food trucks around. Get the braised pork, it’ll literally melt in your mouth. Crossing my fingers I get to have lunch from them again.

Really loved the minced pork bento and fried chicken bento, especially the fried chicken. Simple but authentic flavor. Very excited to be able to find a Taiwanese bento food truck in Seattle. Their pickled dish and braised egg are really a nice plus to the bento.

Got the braised beef bento and soy milk from the Bellevue food truck. When I opened the bento I was quite disappointed because it looks so brown all over. Everything is brown, from braised beef to the side dish. They really have to work a little harder to make it looks as nice as menu. The braised beef was pretty tender and delicious, but the side dishes and the rice was NOT very tasty. Rice was too wet and clumpy. One side dish was cauliflower(slightly greasy) and the other one is sauteed onion, which was too raw to chew and too spicy to swallow. One thing I wasn’t very happy is, from the photo on the menu, it looks like all bentos come with a braised egg, however, in the reality, that egg cost $ 1 or $ 1.5(price is not list on the menu!!!) which is a stragegy to trick customer’s money. The soy milk is totally not worth to get. So watery that I taste nothing. Prefer the real soy milk from Tofu 101. I won’t say this is an authentic Taiwanese bento… it’s not even 50% as good as the bento I have had in Taiwan!

Three things you will find at the Yumbit Food Truck in Bellevue: 1) super friendly service, 2) delicious, hit, fresh Bento boxes, and 3) they accept, and prefer credit cards/debit cards for payment. I walked by this cute truck on my way home and the delicious smells lured me across the street. I will be back!

Had both their braised beef and their braised pork bentos on separate days and each came with different side veggies(I only remember one day was broccoli and cabbage?). For the price, it was actually quite good and would highly suggest it.

Had the mince pork for lunch today. They had a heating pole for waiting customers, which is very nice touch. The buy 1 get another one 50% off makes it a no brainer.

Don’t call the number on Unilocal, that number belongs to the Yumbit in UDISTRICT. We got there almost around 2pm and they were closing already. 3 of the bento on the menu were sold out and rice was running low by the time we got there. Bought 3 bento with 2 servings of rice split into 3(how short on rice they were! From looking at other reviews: maybe they give too much rice in the beginning of their opening hours). Braised pork was a little hard to bite into, and the fried pork and chicken chops was a little soggy(not crispy). Taste of the food was somewhat okay however it was served a little cold. I don’t know if it’s because they were close to closing so the food was rushed a little bit or they are just made this way. Might try it again in their earlier opening hours.

Saw this food truck when dropping by Bellevue downtown, and tried braised beef bento. Decent taste with connivence just under office buildings. Also great deal for the price.

Grand opening — BOGO50%. They’re pushing the combos which will save you a dollar or so. Had the braised pork — decent flavour and good amount of meat. The sides were marinated bean sprouts and pickled cabbage, but not very much of it. And too much rice! Hope they keep coming — lots more to try!
