This is a little gem in Columbia City! Great variety of wines, knowledgeable owner and decent prices. We were in town from Tucson, stopped by Mutual Fish and with $ 85 of fresh fish, found three bottles that were the perfect pairings! Thank you and we will return on our next visit to Seattle.

So much of enjoying wine is sharing an experience. This starts at stepping into this store. This shop moved down from Capitol Hill and I couldn’t be happier. It is a cozy location with a great selection.
The owner loves to chat and has a brilliant wealth of information! I described what I just bought at bobs meats and he darted around describing wines to pair. It made me feel like I was the only person in the store.
Prices comparable to other stores. The experience is what takes it to the next level.

I called Vino Verité (from Connecticut) to order some wine for a friend in Seattle. The proprietor at V V couldn’t have been more receptive, better informed, more supportive, or nicer than he was. I wound up ordering a superb cabernet sauvignon and very promising chardonnay for my very special friend.
If I can be so well taken care at a distance of 3,000 miles, I urge those of you in Seattle to take advantage of this treasure in your midst.
