Bruce and his crew, headed by Romualdo recently finished our back yard. They added a patio, a fire pit, stone paths and lots and lots of plants for privacy, beauty and even food. They kept what they could, moved some existing plants around and pruned. We are so happy with the work that we plan on having them come back to update our front yard. Alyssa in the office is great too. She always got back to me quickly regarding schedules and plant lists. I highly recommend Vertumni Fine Landscaping.

I was fortunate enough to find Bruce Bond (owner) over ten years ago to transform my back yard. He spent time getting to know me and my tastes and designed the perfect garden for me. Over the years the Vertumni crews have added a patio and extra fencing, as well as doing maintenance one or twice a year. Because of the quality of work, Vertumni is not the least expensive company around, but they are well worth the price. When they come to do fall clean up, the entire landscape is transformed in the course of one day. I’ve since developed arthritis and can’t begin to keep up with the yard work throughout the summer as I used to, so they have their work cut out for them. They prune, weed, mulch, and tidy up. The crews work hard and have never left anything out of place or any kind of mess for me or neighbors. Quite the contrary. I am always excited to come home from work and see how great the yard looks. I’ve worked with Bruce personally, and with two different job foremen, and have never been disappointed. Always thrilled, and always happy to refer them to friends and acquaintances or anyone who asks.

The crew who came to my garden to install a 5′ x 5′ palm tree encased in a 2′ x 2′ box did a fantastic job moving a sprinkler head, digging out roots and weeds, leveling and amending soil, and getting this very heavy, very large plant up the driveway and into its new home! They left the garden immaculate after sweeping and blowing the entire area. The guys were friendly and fun to work with, fast and efficient and open to input.
I plan to invite them back in the spring for yard cleanup and maintenance.

We’ve never had a landscaper before, but we were having trouble keeping up with the transition from winter to everything growing wild in the spring. We sent in a bunch of pictures of our yard with the general direction of «just clean things up.» We asked Vertumni to send a team for two hours. When we got home from work that day, we saw our lawn was transformed. They did an amazing job. It wasn’t cheap, but I think the price was fair and it was well worth all the work they did. We’ll probably have them come out again next spring. Highly recommended.

We had Vertumni come out to give us an estimate for one-​time and ongoing landscaping. I filled out and sent in a survey beforehand about my landscaping preferences. The guy who came out arrived an hour late, as it was getting dark, making it very to actually discuss our property. He hadn’t bothered to read the form I’d spent so much time on, and he hadn’t bothered going by the house whose landscaping I said I wanted to emulate. The plants and styles he suggested were out of line with our current and desired style. When I drove past his reference customer’s houses, I noticed that they were all in line with what he had suggested for us — they’re just what he likes. That would have been ok if they were nice, but they really weren’t. His estimate was ultimately for way more work than we requested (e.g., I said I wanted to emulate the half of the beds I’d already done on the other half; his bid included replacing both halves). When we replied with a question of clarification, we didn’t hear back. Getting an estimate from Vertumni was a waste of our time and ultimately slowed down our progress in getting landscaping done on our property.

I had absolutely no experience with any sort of landscaping needs and they’ve been fantastic! They came out to meet with me to guide me step by step. What they helped create for me was just beautiful and my neighbors really liked what they saw in my small yard.
They also helped refer me to another company they work closely with to install a drip irrigation system to really make my yard low maintenance. I am definitely going to keep working with them to help maintain my yard. I love it!

The team at Vertumni is fantastic. From estimate to project completion, these guys were communicative, clear, creative, professional, timely and incredibly respectful. On top of all that… they turned my back yard into a veritable oasis! I couldn’t be more pleased with them and their work. Highly recommend!

Vertumni has been taking care of our extensive garden for about three years. The owner and staff are very knowledgable and attentive to our needs. They have done a superb job in getting our difficult garden in much better shape. Each year they have offered new ideas on how to continue improving our garden.

Vertumni was doing a landscaping job next door, I happened to need some topsoil for a planter in my yard and noticed they had a truck full of the stuff. I asked if they happened to have extra if they would throw some in my planter. I wanted to pay for the job but they said «don’t worry about it» and filled my planter up and made sure it was all raked even. Couldn’t believe it, and it looks like they did a great job on my neighbors yard.

We have used Vertumni for a re-​do of our patio including stone work and plantings as well as some large hedge trimming. Bruce is great to work with. Communication has been clear and timely, the crew of workeres were polite and tidy, efficient and talented. We have been very pleased with Vertumni.

Bruce (owner) and his crew did an amazing job creating our urban garden! From the initial consult, design review, excavation, construction through the final results, we could not have asked for a better team to work with. Changes made during construction were throughly communicated by both parties which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this company for your landscaping needs. Bruce Bond is the owner and he was so responsive to the needs of our Condo association. He came out and met with us soon after our initial phone call and put together a fantastic plan. We were novices at gardening so he patiently explained what type of irrigation would work best and the plants that would be better suited for low maintenance handling. He also frequently follow-​up with us which was great.

I hired this company based on the award from Seattle Mag Best Landscaper of the year, and boy were they right. As soon as I met Bruce (owner of company?) and he started off with all his ideas I got excited. He listened to what I liked but could explain why some of my ideas just wouldnt work with what we had to work with. What he came up with was amazing. While he brought in a nice crew it impressed me to see how much he was involved with the actual work. He also recommended irrigation for the most benefit of the landscape so I took him up on that. His irrigation guy was amazing and well worth the extra money.
