Cute place, super strong & affordable drinks, and a breathalyzer. What more could you ask for in a dive bar?

While the drinks were cheap and it was a decent place to grab drinks before the game. The bartender was less than impressive. Moody, gloomy and unresponsive. Also, the male bathrooms had The most ridiculous racial slurs, for quite some time. Tend to your restrooms, and be a little bit more attentive to your customers please. This is ridiculous for a historic bar.

This is a great dive bar that’s close to Centurylink and Safeco, I only wish it were a little closer to my house! I moved here from Northeast Minneapolis and I was worried that I might not find a dive bar out here, but I just hadn’t found Triangle Pub yet! The bar is very tiny with 3 small outside tables. They have cheaper beer on tap, but no frills :). A safe bet is to get the large Manny’s ale! They also have food outside(this might just be a game day thing though.)

For what it is this place is great. Good cheap beer just around the corner from the game.

What’s not to love about a $ 5 man can? Super fun place to have a few drinks before the game! The staff was very nice as well! The only down side is a lot of people were loitering here and it was a little creepy!

Tiny, historical… did I mention tiny? Once an old brothel, I’m sure the close quarters yielded more of a benefit to those who used to patron this small corner venue: For Seahawks fans, its more of a stress. By stress I mean get there at like 10AM for a 1 o’clock game at a minimum, or forgetaboutit. For the lucky few who pack in you’ll find a super simple bar menu(compete with servers who pour booze and beers for the masses with unamused glares) very little standing room and for the brave/hipsters, a cryptic basement. It’s redeeming qualities include a fantastic sausage grill, serving up Seattle Dogs and the like: Even a mac and cheese topped hot dog. So delicious that even those who can’t get into the bar hang over the sides to order. Another high point is the patio they’re hanging over: With a view of the 12th man crowd teaming by, people watching is prime. Last bit of love goes to the location itself: Literally right across the way from the field and all the hoopla. If you find yourself around there early send a scout to secure the south corner of the main level room, the peak of the triangle itself near the cash machine. And then never move from that corner till you’re ready to abandon ship.

Great staff, surprisingly ok food, but if you like studio apartments, this is for you. If you bring 2 friends, this place feels crowded. I pity you if you try to go before 2pm on a Mariners game day!

Ok bar. Greeted by some chick that was shitfaced telling me something about how the Seahawks game was unfair today had to chug my Redbull before coming in(totally get it) bartender served me my dunks… Asked for a couple cocktail onions and I took one look at the cup with 6 flies in it and said… No thank you. You might want to look in the fruit caddy before asking for any fruit

Was here on a very slow Thursday afternoon. The Giants were on the TV and the beer was PERFECT! Great service! Small inside, nice seating area outside(also small). Met a very chatty regular who wasn’t shy in expressing how this is his favorite bar and how awesome the owner is. Hung out for a while and decided I have to return on game-day and see what it’s really all about!

I don’t know why, but I love this place. The bartenders are real, down to earth, and attentive. For the first time in Seattle, when I said I received the wrong drink– the bartender didn’t give me a dirty look. He actually apologized and made the new drink right away. I don’t play pool, but I enjoy the semi competitive relaxed atmosphere. We stop by after every Mariner’s game.

Pull tabs. This made me LOVE Seattle! The bartender was great, we won enough at pull tabs to pay for our round, play the game and tip! It’s a small place with a great view. Creepy stairwell outside the women’s bathroom!

this is a great tiny spot that just is full of all kinds of quirky folks, and divey feelings. we came here prior to football, and MAN was it packed. TINY is the word that best describes this. been here forever too. I had NO idea there was a downstairs bar either, in all the years that I’ve been coming here. THATS funny. between the seahawk fans and the SAINTS fans, this was an experience of a lifetime. everyone just having big fun. WHODAT

Took a pedi cab over here from Amtrak. The door guy working on 11÷2÷2013 at about 10:30PM denies us entry by saying«If you can’t afford a cab to get here you can’t afford to drink here.» HAHA! What a douche! J&M Was happy to take my money.

This spot has tremendous potential, but it needs to be gutted and updated first! The architecture and location are epic. Unfortunately, it’s slid to a point that other than on game nights it’s usually full of worn out regulars. I’d bet if this place got a makeover it would be successful every day! Bar Rescue where are you?

Lovely triangular space with good drinks, friendly folks, and plenty of history to go with the dust bunnies. You can drink, snack, and play the lottery while talking sports. Its just around the corner so I imagine this place gets pretty crazy around football and proper football game days. Baseball wasn’t too crazy but it definitely picked up as it got closer to first pitch. They have all sorts of lottery games which can be a problem for me. I like to push my luck especially as I drink more. This bar can get expensive really quick. Be careful. I will return, it was a fun joint.

Just a cool joint. Seeming impossible to get in on game days so either get there very, very early or go on non game days.

This place is tiny. It’s close to the stadiums so the location is great but it gets ridiculously packed. The drinks were cheap but was not an easy task to battle the crowd and get to the bar. I probably need to go back when there’s isn’t a home game to get a better feel of the place but when else are you in the area?

Excellent 5 $ Man Cans(24oz Beers), lots of TV’s with all the seasonal games on. They even show at least one hockey game during hockey season. It can get crowded and its a squish-fest on Seahawks game days. Most other days, or for Mariner games, its totally tolerable. Mens room is clean enough. Sometimes they have the hot dog guy out front. Excellent place to drink a beer outside on a nice day whilst Seattle walks by.

This place is filled with sports fans before games but is usually pretty bare on non game nights although there always seems a couple of homeless guys trying get warm in the winter. Awkward shaped bar makes it difficult to go with a lot of people but we still keep coming back. Many years ago, I went to a party in the apartment above the bar. The host showed me around the place and told me about its checkered past as a whorehouse.

Thanks to the Triangle Pub I became a Seahawks super fan this past Sunday. You don’t know the difference between a touch down and a home run? You pick your favorite team because of their colors and uniforms? Me too! Or at least I did, until I was gifted Seahawks tickets and invited to the Triangle for pregame festivities. The energy of this place on game day is enough to make a football convert out of me. Tiny space packed to the brim. Cheap drinks. Loud music. Lots of fun.
