I live right down the street from here, and I absolutely love this place. I get a really big bowl of Phở with the beef brisket and always enjoyed it.

I was watching my niece and needed a place within a short walk from her house. I thought I’d try this place as it’s not far away. Very limited menu and poor quality. I was not impressed. I live in Federal Way and can get much better teriyaki for the same price, if not cheaper, and much better quality. The gyoza had a poor flavor and the chicken teriyaki was more fat then chicken. Next time, my niece and I will find a better location for dinner.

I always get the spicy chicken teriyaki/katsu combo to go and it’s always good. And I really like the staff. And for the price, you really cannot complain.

If you enjoy having numerous amounts of hair in your food and not even receive a «sorry» or apology at all this is the place for you. Ordered chicken teriyaki with gyoza and received that plus a extra helping of 10 – 12 pieces of hair. Called to complain, lady said«I don’t believe you» so I brought it in as proof. After she saw it, she did offer to make me a new meal but never once apologized or asked about a refund at all. Learned my lesson.

Had seafood phở which was not bad in itself. However it was followed by an unpleasant episode of stomach issue. Not going back again.

I don’t like writing bad reviews, but this food is just not good. I had come here a few years ago when I lived in Ballard and had their Phở. And honestly, it was the worst Phở I’d ever had. SO many better options for Phở in the Ballard area. We recently moved back to Ballard and we were craving Teriyaki, so we thought we’d give Tony’s one more shot since they were so close and we thought the Teriyaki might be better. Nope. Their sauce was not good at all. It was more like gravy than teriyaki. And the beef was chewy. Ugh. It ended up being $ 22 for two orders of beef/chicken teriyaki and a side of gyoza. Sorry, Tony, but we won’t be back.

If you just so happen to be a hungry Ballard High School Student, or construction worker, you’ll probably accumulate some sort of love/hate relationship with Tony’s. It isn’t the greatest Teriyaki joint out there(Teriyaki Madness on 45th), but it sure as hell will satisfy your lunch cravings after a long morning. Not complete loss, but definitely not a win flavor wise. I’ve ordered nothing but a chicken bowl throughout my 30+ times eating there. $ 4.95 for a box of rice smothered in a weird tasting teriyaki sauce, with a good amount of chicken is pretty real for a hungry high school student/construction worker. I do commend them on how well they handle large hordes of Ballard students every day, but I wouldn’t eat there otherwise.

Worst yakisoba ever. There was a generous portion of ramen noodles with barely any vegetables. The noodles had been cooked long before I ordered them. The chicken was just placed on top of the food. I had the phở here once — it was okay but not very interesting. The people here are friendly but their food is atrocious.

The guy who works or ownes it is very nice, but the food is bad. I can walk there so I have tried the food there a few times and have been disapointed each time. I love teriyaki places but this place is a disapointment.

I’m sorry but despite the friendly lady that works there. I must say the food is kind of terrible. First off, I don’t like restaurants that combine menus from different CULTURES. It’s just not right… Teriyaki… phở… This fact made both the teriyaki AND phở– terrible… I’d give teriyaki 3 stars and the phở 1 star… they are both cheap and all but I have tasted better in both catagories…

I know that this place has a lot of bad reviews, but I like it. I eat their sandwiches all the time. If I lived closer to Lynnwood then I would definitely eat Yey Yey’s, as their sandwiches are the best I’ve ever had. Back to Tony’s though… I like the sandwiches and the owners are very friendly. I’m not a Phở aficionado, but I eat the Phở at least a couple times a week and I like it as as well. The small bowls are pretty large, and the plate of basil and sprouts is usually loaded. In summary, I have never had to make a rush trip to the E.R. or construction site honey-bucket after eating here, and for someone that is prone to heartburn a lot, I do just fine after dining here. I will keep coming back. My 2 Cents

This place is amazing despite what everyone thinks! The absolute best bahn mi sandwiches in Seattle. I always go here on my lunch. I love the chicken teriyaki as well. Otherwise I havent had anything else, but who needs it!

The only things saving this place from running out of business is it’s cheap menu, it’s steady stream of high schoolers hungry for lunch from across the street, and their sandwiches. The Phở needs to removed from the menu immediately! The stock is obviously not freshly made and the quality of meat is dreadful. The sandwiches are a delicious and cheap alternative. It kinda sucks that it is the only dining option that I can recommend, but I’ve eaten the rest of their menu and it’s pretty freakin’ bland. So if you ever find yourself in Ballard, and everywhere else is super-busy, swing by and get a sammy.

Those of you that have phở’d with me know that I almost always finish my bowl — large or small. It was so bad that despite being really hungry, I left well over half of it behind. Tony’s Teriyaki n Phở, suck it. Your food is awful. Most terribly bland veggie Phở ever. I think they poured veggie broth straight from the can without seasoning it. Fucking sadsauce. I’ve previously given Phở Vietnam 1 star. Comparatively, Phở Vietnam is a three star. But in reality, Tony’s Teriyaki & Phở is a –5 star. That’s all there is to say about that. I’m going to go somewhere else pay for lunch. Again. Goddamn it.

Here’s the deal: I come here for the fresh yummy sandwiches. BBQ pork on a toasted baguette roll w/cukes, cilantro and more — mm mm good, and cheap to boot. Dunno about their teriyaki and other rice dishes, bahn mi does it for me.

This place has very bland and lame teriyaki. I will hopefully never come back unless it’s the last place to eat at on earth. It’s all about Nasai on the Ave.

I should’ve come on here to read reviews before I went myself, but this is a block from my house and I figured I’d give it a try. I got the pork/beef combo with a 2.99 Vietnamese pork sandwich. Got home, opened the container and saw a soup of teriyaki sauce with what looked like thinly sliced, boiled pieces of beef and pork. Some of the pork slices were so fatty I almost laughed. Not even a great teriyaki sauce could make up for the unbelievably awful quality of the beef and pork but, regretfully, Tony’s sauce is awful. The only good thing about my meal was that the bread used for the sandwich was quite nice. Soft, yet lightly grilled/crunchy Italian style loaf. Unfortunately the sandwich was almost empty($ 2.99) and required me to fill it with some of my almost inedible pieces of beef from the teriyaki. I threw away most of my meal and had a bowl of cereal instead. Go to 1st Teriyaki on 85th for some REAL Teriyaki and avoid this place

This is pretty close to the worst teriyaki I have had. I came in here about 3 weeks ago to try it out. When we stopped by there was only 3 other people in the place(it was prob about 1:30 pm). I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and my coworker ordered the chicken teriyaki. We got our food to go and when we came back to work mine looked like it had a few red flakes in it but it wasnt spicy at all. The chicken tasted like it could have been boiled and not grilled. My coworker said his was bad. Mine came with two scoops of rice and a ton of chicken(half the foam take out container was chicken) and my co workers was two scoops of rice and his food was on more rice so he prob had a quarter of the amount of chicken I had. So we were working in the area again and really wanted yaki… and this place was right there. We decided to give it one more shot… This time, my order was the same but my coworker changed his to beef… we ate it and it was a weird texture. This time they added massive amounts of rice to each dish and my coworker said the beef was worse than the chicken. After lunch the bathroom got a work out and we both had stomach issues. I would give the advice of staying away.

First of all the prices are amazing for Teriyaki. I like to get something to go after work about 2 – 3 times a week. I’m a fan of the spicy chicken or katsu. Or if you’re feeling adventurous get both as a combo for a little bit more!
