I cannot tell you how sad I am to see this place closed. Thanks for the great food, Toi Taco. We will miss you tremendously.

Their spicy pork wrap is actually spicy and it’s really good. Banh mi’s are decent. I wish the food was hotter(temperature). I go to this place often and its good!

I love this place! The Banh Mi sandwiches are the best around! The ginger chicken, short ribs, pork… I love it all. I live in Auburn and travel to Seattle on occasion. When I do, I make it a point to stop in and get lunch and enough for dinner which I end up eating before dinner. It’s nice in summer to sit outside.

Toi Taco is a little business in South Lake Union, just south of Whole Foods at the next light, near the Whole Food parking garage, right on the corner on Westlake. I had gone past this place hundreds of times but stopped in for the first time last week. Their food is great, simple and reasonably priced with good service. I ordered two ginger chicken tacos without the jalepeno mayo, a bag of chips and a bottle of Diet Coke to go. The tacos had a lot of slaw, some cilantro, little lime wedges to squeeze on the juice and were made with double the white corn tortillas. They were excellent and only $ 3 each. I went back the next day and got the same thing, this time with the jalepeno mayo. I could hardly taste the difference. They offer some rice boats, wraps, other tacos with different meats, and banh mi. I’ll be coming back to try those out. Their place is tiny with just an order counter and a couple bar stools up to the windows. It’s plain, nothing to see or look at which is the main reason why I took my food to go. The beverages are all bottled sodas, teas, waters and energy drinks. In the late afternoon, they drop the prices for their happy hour on the tacos to $ 2 each. Not sure how this place gets low reviews. Yummy for a quick bite or takeout. Unique flavors. I’m a total foodie. It reminds me of what you may find in New York. It isn’t fancy, but great if you are looking for something different.

Dude yes, this place is really good and not expensive. Happy hour tacos from 3−5pm ONLY $ 2. Regularly $ 3 and they are big!

Sooo good! Only reason for a four star is I wish they had more stuff to choose from! They are right next to Amazon too which is perfect

Surperisingly this place is not bad! I got the beef rib taco and spicy pork taco. It reminds me a classic Chinese dishes!

Awesome choices of tacos, rice boats, or wraps! I love all of the different types of meats they offer — my favorite is the beef rib and the ginger chicken. Delicious! It’s a great place to stop by for lunch during work. The lunch rush can make the line long, but the service is fast. If you get the wrap, the portion is very large and you can be snacking on it even after lunch. I get a few tacos usually, so I can choose different meats. Great place overall :) Very satisfying.

The food is decent for its price. The wrap is so large that I had to split it into two meals.

Bummer this place seems to be under-rated. Though I will say I have not had the tacos(I know, I know, the place is called Toi TACO), but I have had the wraps and the rice boats and both are amazing. The rice boats have rice(fried rice is a suggested option), meat(beef ribs and ginger chicken are both fantastic), cabbage, kimchi, egg, seaweed and a couple other garnishes. They are large, filling, and at around $ 9 after all is settled, a pretty good deal. The wrap is essentially the rice boat in a tortilla and will have you in a classic 2PM work coma. They are just as good if not better than the boats, but I generally avoid them for the food-coma factor. I will try the tacos, but they’d have to be pretty darn bad to drag this place down below 4 stars. I LOVETHISPLACE! Forgot to add: I dont do spicy, but I have heard friends rave about the spicy pork. Also I have yet to try the Bahn Mi, but have heard great things about those too.

I love this place. I will say that I only get tacos, so there’s a limit to the love. It’s really just a downtown, lunch-time place. I don’t even know if it’s open on weekends. The only complaint is that sometimes the tortillas are a tad undercooked.

The beef in the Banh Mi looks similar to dog food. It wasn’t good. I enjoy the tacos, but they’re covered in tons of cabbage and lettuce, or whatever. Even when you take a bunch off, that’s really all you taste for the first couple of bites. Luckily the flavoring of the meat is strong. Kind of pricey, in my opinion.

I don’t know why this place gets so busy. Their tacos are very blah… I ordered all 4(except the beef one) and the tortilla was cold and hard, flavors were lacking a bit… it was just… blah… or meh. Great location though I guess and they have outdoor seating. Pricing is okay too.

Came here during the lunch rush to try out this place. I saw that they were bringing back their«bowls» and decided to give the bulgogi one a try. I added $ 1 extra to substitute fried rice for the white rice in the bowl. Taste wise, it was ok. There wasn’t much meat, and the meat little meat that was there was really minced up, and slightly dry. The whole dish was lacking in flavor. The sad part was there were only 2 very thin strips of seaweed. When I took my paper plate outside to eat, the wind blew both strips away. :( I’d like to come back to try their tacos, $ 2 each during happy hour(2PM — 5PM).

For all Mexican food lovers(i.e. burritos & tacos) AND Asian food lovers(i.e. think of Korean bbq, bulgogi) mixed together(aka Asian Fusion) you’ve come to the right place! Regardless of the ingredients being simple, it’s what makes it so flavorful and tasteful.(Sometimes simple/less is better). Items on the menu reminds me of food truck grub. I’ve only tried the tacos and burritos, and both feature similar ingredients(shredded cabbage, and the choice of meat). However, the meat is delicious, marinated nicely and mixes well with the cabbage. Toi Taco has Happy Hour tacos($ 2 each) from Monday-Friday, 3−5pm.(My favorites are the chicken & pork). A few tables for outdoor seating right outside. Storefront located next to Whole Foods. Burritos are a little pricey, yet I think its worth the cost, once in while. It’s also quite filling, I usually eat half for lunch, save the other half for a late snack or dinner. Otherwise, feast on HH tacos, for the same price. Looking forward to try other items on the menu next time.

Toi Taco is my go to when I am venturing to the other office building or its a nice day out and I want to walk back up the Denny hill. I really like their food, it is right in line with the prices of the food trucks, Whole Foods, etc. in the area. It is also a lot of food! I usually get a Spicy Pork Burrito, its like $ 8 its too much food, I can’t eat it all at once or I need a nap. My co-workers also like the Banh-Mi, and the tacos and the Ginger Chicken. Tip: If you get a Spicy Pork tacos and another kind, eat the Spicy Pork first, or it will ruin the flavor of the second taco. :)

I like the bahn-mi sandwiches here. At $ 8 it’s a lot for a sandwich but for the area, it’s a nice lunch. I always get the spicy pork… it has some kick so that’s good. The tacos also look good and the wraps look good. I always just order my food to go but there are a few seats along the windows, etc. if you want to eat there.
