Diamond in the rough. Upon entering you wouldn’t think this place would have an exceptional burger and fries, but it does! I ordered the Park Burger — lettuce, tomato, caramelized onion, and cheddar. YUM! great flavor, the bun was adequate — a brioche I believe. I hate when bars have the Franz buns that instant disintegrate. The hand-cut fries were perfection! Hot, crispy, not too thick or thin, but just right. If you’re in the neighborhood and craving a good burger give Park Public House a try.

Awesome spot to grab a bite to eat and/or a pint in Phinney Ridge. I’ve been meaning to write this review for nearly two years(I know, I’m a bit slow). Our first time to this restaurant, my girlfriend(now fiancé) and I were greeted by the then new owner’s father(Daniel I believe was his name). He saw that we were on a date and struck up a nice conversation. After which, he brought us a bowl of ice cream to share on the house… Very cool and totally unexpected. The place was clean, the food was delicious and priced well. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Lots of room, nice seating(nice lighting), great to come when you need a happy hour beer and you have your kids in tow. Waitstaff is super nice and food is fine and priced very reasonably. I love having this place in our neighborhood.

I love coming her for Hawks games. Its busy(fun busy, not overcrowded busy) but you can usually get a seat and good services. The staff is great and you can’t beat their steak salad. We have also hosted a party for about 20 people there. The bill was reasonable and they stayed on top of the food and pitchers situation. They also always have awesome beers on tap!

Great atmosphere, standard pub food. It’s a good weekday place to visit and a little bit nicer than your typical pub.

Spotted this place while driving down Greenwood and just had to see what it was all about. Was not disappointed. Overall atmosphere is great: awesome tunes at a comfortable volume, 5 or 6 tv’s for the boys(and girls), a variety of different tables available(booths, longer tall tables and round dinner tables and even a bar with about 8 seats) and the lighting/ambiance is just right for casual dining or a few drinks with any group of people. Did I mention the good music? Okay, moving on. The Park Public House is very clean and service was quite fast. Drinks were great! We had the Park Mule, and it is easily one of the better mules I’ve had. All of their mixed drinks sounded good and with plenty of beers on tap, this made for a hard decision, though I don’t think any decision could be a wrong one. I had the chicken hummus wrap and salad w/basil vinaigrette – delicious, fresh and just the right amount of dressing. My boyfriend had the chicken tacos with tortilla chips – tacos were great and the chips tasted homemade. All very good! Prices were reasonable, too: our total was about $ 40 for two meals and two specialty drinks. Bonus points to The Park for providing jugs of fresh water at the table for easy refills! :)

Ray: We had that Phinney Feeling last Thursday as Josh and I headed out to The Park Public House in Phinney Ridge. Now, I have mentioned in previous posts about how Josh scores this total rock-star parking once in a while, and granted, it’s most likely due to the early dinners we have. That said, he did it again, only this time, if he had parked any closer we would have had to park on the sidewalk, right next to the door. I really liked the feeling of The Park Public House. There was this soft country-esque music playing that I found relaxing and there were several TVs playing sports, most notably Thursday Night Football. We both ordered our beers and started on the menu. I must say I found the menu a disappointment. The entre section was boring with things like Mac & Cheese(granted it did have bacon), Quesadilla, that kind of thing. No chicken, no steak. So I decided not to have an entre. I looked over the sandwiches, but I didn’t feel like a sandwich for dinner. I finally settled for a burger. I went with the Park Burger because I love the grilled onions. When the meals arrived they looked great! The bun was dark and roasted looking, with fries(with the peelings on) just the way I like them. I dug right in only to find that the burger was just too greasy for my taste. The fries were too. The grease tasted kind of old and spent. I gotta admit, I didn’t really care for that burger. It’s kind of funny. Josh and I never really talk about the food or establishment because we don’t want to influence each other. I am really interested on his take on the meal he ordered. But enough about Josh, this is about… ME! Ok — The restaurant was really quite nice and the service was as well. I can’t fault them for that at all. The presentation was all there but meal wasn’t all that great. I am going three stars for The Park Public House. Worth a visit, but not to impress somebody. Josh: The Park Public House drew us up to Phinney Ridge last Thursday for the weekly outing. Parking was a breeze, we parked so close it was about 5 paces from the car to the bar. This place is easy to see from the street with their big green sign. We walked in to a mostly empty dining room and had a seat at a booth. This place has a fairly hip interior, with a pool table having felt the color of Caucasian skin, two large paintings of what appears to be scenery from the Cascade Mountains(I’d say the Alpine Lake Wilderness region). The server came over and gave us menus and water, and took the drink order. I don’t rightly remember what I had, some smoky IPA or another that I didn’t like(really, I should avoid any beer that says«smoked» because it always tastes a little like salmon. But I’m an adventurous beer taster, often turning down the bartender-offered taste of something I’ve never heard of and going straight to the pint) but I still drank the whole thing :) I ended up ordering the maple bacon burger. The wait was not too bad, and the meal was presented. Everything looked pretty good with hand-cut style fries that were pretty good. The burger was pretty good as well. I wouldn’t say my mind was blown by the deliciousness of the burger, but if I were to visit again(I very well might) I could see myself ordering this burger once more. Over all, it was a good experience. I bet this would be a fun place to catch a Seahawks game. 4 stars.

Steve and I ducked in here after paying a visit to one of my new favorite breweries(Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery) in the neighborhood just north(?, My directions are frequently messed up in Seattle) of here. We were feeling only slightly munchy and were not too terribly ravenous. So we split a quesadilla and some and nice, big plate of nachos. Both were very good. Service was good, atmosphere relaxed. Nice beer selection too. No complaints at all. I wouldn’t mind doing a return trip sometime and eat something other than appetizers.

I always love coming here, especially on game days, to grab some food and drinks with friends and family! The staff is super friendly and knows what’s best for their customers. There are plenty of seats but it can be pretty crowded, again, especially on game days. My all-time favorite thing to get on the menu is spam sliders! They are three tiny spam burgers with sriracha aioli and some greens. Very easy to eat, the spam is always fried to perfection, and there’s barely any mess! I also like their omen drinks, especially the beast mode. I forgot what’s in it, I’m sure there’s pineapple and vodka in there, but it’s really good! I also love that they started to serve brunch! I usually got the steak and eggs, I’ve only gotten brunch once or twice I think. I always get mine cooked medium and the eggs over easy and it definitely met my expectations. If I remember correctly, it also comes with potatoes and fruits! Can’t wait to come here for another game day woooot!

The Park Pub tends to be the hang out place for myself and most of my coworkers. They consistently have 14 beers on tap, which is amazing for the beer lover in Seattle! Great service if you come in smaller parties, although I have noticed on more than one occasion that the bigger your party is, the less likely they will make it out to your table. On more than once occasion I’ve had to go to the bar to order a drink. If you are at the bar, they will take care of you asap, which is always nice. :) The Hush Puppies are delicious as well as the Chicken Nachos and the Pork Sliders. Of course, I come here for the beer and they always have that front taken care of. All in all, this is an awesome local pub that I’ll continue visiting.

Fun bar food, get spam sliders! Their bacon burger is my favorite in the city. Reasonable prices. The service could be better, these is a lack of attention I’ve noticed each time. If you are seated at the bar they have more time for you but it seems they aren’t always able to make a round to tables. Sit as close as the bar as possible unless you are just looking to enjoy one drink and some food.

Nice little spot :) came here for trivia, lost horribly, still had fun! The wild berry drink i ordered was tasty, and the chicken hummus wrap I had was absolutely delicious. I took half of the wrap home and ate it later. I was sad that the experience of eating it was over when I finished it :(

Park Pub exceeds my expectations regularly. The décor is pretty much divey/towny bar chic. So, I pretty much expected bad food, drinks, & service. However, we’ve always had great service. While the food is your basic pub fare, it’s always well prepared and delicious. The nachos, quesadilla, and veggie burger are particularly great. The kegs here rotate quickly and feature an eclectic mix of local faves. The mixed drinks here tend toward the über-sweet side, which isn’t my preference, so I steer clear.

I am writing this review because the last 3 times I have gone to The Park Public House were terrible. I used to love this place, but the service just has gone down hill! I asked our server for extra sour cream for my quesadilla, and as she walked away she said, «there’s already some on there» and kind of smirked, like I was some kind of idiot for asking. Then it took her 10 minutes to bring the dumb sour cream. A month later, I went back. The waitress came and dropped off water and then never came back. The bartender took our food order and we didn’t see anyone for 30 minutes. So we just left. The food is fine, there’s a good selection of drinks, but the service is abysmal.

Pro: the drinks are well done. Con: the menu is boring. Not bad, mind you… just forgettable. Service: hit and miss. Some unsolicited advice to the new owners: Strive to set yourselves apart. With plenty of really talented cooks in this city, you could hold auditions. Hire a chef with a personality and who cares about serving great food.

Really solid pub in Phinney Ridge. Great pub ambience and friendly service. I ordered their burger with no cheese and asked for it to be on lettuce with no bun. They surprised me with a platter set with lettuce for wrapping(think Asian lettuce wraps), and had cut and sliced all of the burger meat and toppings to make it perfect for a lettuce wrap experience. So nice. Also, man: the tots! I’m a tater ton fan, and these were some of the best. Perfectly golden, crispy, toasted, and seasoned. My husband had the steak salad and exclaimed that it was fantastic!

The Park Pub is my new go-to place in Phinney! Excellent beer list that’s constantly changing with some great local beers. I have had their baked mac and cheese(yum!) and chicken tenders. The chicken was a little too salty, but the chicken was cooked perfectly. Their fries are really good, too. I enjoy the balance the décor strikes… it’s not overly upscale but isn’t a total dive, either. This is a really nice, laid back place to hang out. Service is great, too. My only note is that I was in on a Tuesday night a few weeks ago and there seemed to be only one person working. She seemed a bit stretched thin but was helpful and nice.

I’m a fan! 5 stars for: — Not being overly crowded and uncomfortable — Having great food(I’m a nachos girl and these nachos hit the spot!) — Friendly, courteous, and prompt service — Good prices — Clean — Not overly loud or filled with obnoxious people Great little neighborhood pub. I’ll definitely be back when in the area!

We celebrated our dear friend here tonight for her birthday. As a huge party that kept growing as the evening went on, I was amazed that our server never missed a beat. Actually, she forgot my husband’s order, but he had already helped me mow through my house nachos, so he wasn’t feeling too badly when he realized the error. We toasted our glasses of Manny’s and cider and made new friends around the table. The Park Pub is a fine place to connect and reconnect with those you love or are about to. It’s an easy-going neighborhood bar with heart. Locally crafted beers on tap with growlers and kegs to go!

I came after my weekly Thursday night run with my running group! I checked the menu online and decided what I wanted. However, it changed due to new management. I was only able to order the sweet potato fries. And, I thought they were just ok! Good thing was that they has seasonal pumpkin spice cider from Seattle Cider Company. It’s actually quite delicious. They were accommodating with our large group, able to deliver food to individual and got each runner separate checks. Friendly staff! I might come back if my group has gathering here. Otherwise, I wouldn’t come here alone.
