My husband and I just spent an amazing few days in Seattle to celebrate our 1^st wedding anniversary (they didn’t know that). The location and room were great, (especially if you’re a traveler who walks and/​or takes public transit)! Yet the best part of this stay was the front desk service. While everyone we interacted with were nice, Michelle, hands down was outstanding. I’ve traveled a lot (although Seattle was a first for me) and Michelle got our vibe right away and then wrote down places according to what she thought we would enjoy. Often I get suggestions on places to go and eat when traveling and don’t end up in the area. But Michelle somehow «knew us» so well, that despite the fact that we walked from one hilly neighborhood to another meandering through streets and admiring houses and parks (making it impossible for her to anticipate our route), whenever we stopped and said «hey this looks like an amazing place» it was always on «the list» Michelle had brainstormed for us. Michelle (and Seattle) did not fail! What an outstanding experience all due to the service Michelle provided. Thank you so much Paramount Hotel for selecting such amazing talent in Michelle and maintaining a beautiful and convenient hotel!!!

The staff were absolutely amazing, they brought us complimentary champagne for our wedding anniversary and recommended different places to eat and even gave us free appetizers for the restaurants they recommended. They remembered us by name and even custom printed and signed a card for our anniversary. They went above and beyond. The hotel is right in the middle of the shopping district of Seattle and overall a wonderful place to stay as far and location and staff. The food at the Dragonfish restaurant that is connected to the hotel was really good. We will be staying at this hotel every time we come to Seattle in the future.

This review is more toward the employees than the actual hotel itself.
I was here the other day, not because I was staying there, but I needed to go to the bathroom and no other place nearby had one. The lady at the front desk, Michelle, was super nice about it and promptly provided me with a slip that had the bathroom’s code on it. (This saved my life all day!) Just that interaction left me with a smile on my face… but, it gets better.
Later that night, after the concert had ended, my boyfriend and I needed to catch a bus but couldn’t find anywhere near the bus stop or us that could give us the right amount of change. So, because I had such a positive experience earlier in the day, I suggested we check here to see if it would be possible to use our cards to buy something and get cash back. Well, it wasn’t possible. But, Michelle was at the front desk and being the super amazing awesome woman she is, she handed us $ 2 out of her own pocket and it honestly saved the night. I couldn’t let this act of kindness go unnoticed and I think Michelle is one of the most amazing employees I have ever come across in my life.

I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Seattle. It’s central to everything downtown and a super short walk to the westlake light link station. The hotel itself is modern, clean and quiet. We had no issues with housekeeping whatsoever. Front desk staff was wonderful – husband and I flew in fairly early in the day with plans of just having the hotel hold our luggage until 4pm check in time. To our surprise they allowed us to check in early that morning so that was super awesome! Thank you Paramount for the excellent hospitality and service!

Paramount hotel has a nice happy hour spot downstairs from the rooms. I would have to say this place have a very reasonable price to be right in downtown seattle. The front desk employees were all very nice and pleasant. I did book 2 rooms with double beds but they only gave me 1 room with double bed and the other with 1 king size bed. But they did accommodate me by giving us free parking for 2 nights and a bunch of free appetizer coupons so that made up for it. The hotel rooms here are very clean and modern I would definitely come back and stay here. Plus if you needed something a little fancy you can go right across the street to ruth chris.

I booked this hotel to celebrate a special day with my wife. The staff was very friendly, they checked me in early. There were few goodies and a card signed by the manager placed in our room wishing us, this made my day. I was not expecting this at all, they went above and beyond.
The location is a huge plus, close to everything. The room was quite and clean. I would highly recommend this place.

Great little hotel in a great location in downtown Seattle. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Hotel is clean rooms are not over the top but very nice. Rates are always reasonable and availability is quite good. I would def recommend this hotel for your downtown Seattle stay.

Awesome hotel for a great price. Extremely comfy beds and clean rooms. Perfect hotel if you need to be near the convention center. Very friendly front desk and free wifi is always nice. Only downside was they put us in a room that had a door to join another, so I assume the walls might be less insulated in those because we could hear everything our neighbors were saying.

I would give 3.5 stars, actually. Quick breakdown:

+Fairly quiet
+Friendly folks at the front desk (we asked for suggestions for places to eat, etc., and they went above and beyond)
+clean and comfortable
+close to lots of attractions, but that only goes so far since Seattle appears to be a very spread out city
Cons:
— Maid service just ok. They don’t like giving new towels I guess.
— They remove coffee from the lobby at 10 AM. Really? This is beyond dumb. It’s the coffee capital of the nation and they remove it by 10 AM. LOL. Plus, people who stay here are coming in late and sleeping in late. Would New Orleans, Vegas, San Diego remove coffee at 10 AM?
— Slow elevators

This hotel is a gem in the heart of the city! Extremely friendly staff, modern and welcoming lobby with a cozy fireplace, clean/​well decorated rooms (most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on), and great happy hour in the downstairs restaurant Dragonfish! Couldn’t have found a better place for the price! Going to Seattle? Stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

LOVED the Paramount! Clean and beautiful rooms with great city views, but the best part was the amazing staff! Seriously over the top customer service. When we arrived there were 2 bottles of Fiji water and 2 Jones Sodas in the mini fridge, which we assumed were the typical overpriced mini-​bar items that most hotels have so we didn’t plan to drink them… But after too much V-​Day wine, we finished them all off. I called downstairs to ask if they had any extra bottled water to purchase, and Ian at the front desk let me know that everything in the mini fridge was free for guests and then sent us up a 6 pack of Fiji water with a personalized note! So unexpected and such a nice touch. We were met with Ian’s level of guest service with every staff member we encountered. We will definitely return to the Paramount.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday get away. Great room very clean. Super nice place will defiantly visit again.

We ended up at this hotel via an Expedia travel package where you buy the hotel and the airfare is «free». We chose this hotel because of its central location downtown. Because we were not renting a car during our short weekend stay this hotel was the perfect location.
We arrived late in the evening on Friday and were greeted by the friendly front desk staff. We ended up in a room on the 5^th floor, but sadly it was a room without a view. Upon arrival we placed an order for room service and it was delivered much sooner than expected by a friendly young man. Each time we passed by the front desk every member of their team was friendly and helpful.
Our checkout time was 12 noon and our flight was not until 8PM so I asked the fro t deal if they could hold our luggage and to my surprise they said no problem! A huge bonus for us! When we went to checkout they asked how our stay was and I made a mention of someone trying to enter our room at 1:30 AM and then this group of women being obnoxiously loud In the hallway around 2:30 AM. I knew this was beyond their control, but as I was running on less than 5 hours of sleep i thought this might explain why I appeared like a zombie. The front desk attendant offers us two vouchers to Dragonfish, the restaurant on the lobby level.
Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel. It’s super clean and the staff are extremely accommodating! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Seattle!

My favorite hotel in Seattle. The rooms are really nice and comfortable and the staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone from the front desk folks, the guys that help get a cab, and the concierge desk is fantastic. I stay here whenever I can.
Location is really convenient however just be aware that it books up fast during the summer when there are events and the rates can be significantly higher.

Great customer service! Love the clean coffee maker in the rooms! Particularly I’m not sure why. Makes two coffees at the same time haha! Clean bathroom great space. Front desk people were genuinely nice. In the middle of everything to see. Pike’s Market was a walks away.
Didn’t like the whole parking situation. Thought it was overpriced to leave your car there every night and couldn’t just access our car if we needed to ourselves. It was cheaper to valet. Maybe I’m just not use to that kind of service? But the valet peeps were overall nice as well.

Definitely a top notch place to stay in Seattle, I was in town for about a week for a conference, there was some confusion about the reservation and the staff quickly was able to resolve it. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice. This hotel is about a block to the front door of the convention center so that is always a nice perk. Also it’s not very far from Pike’s Place Market or other spots in Capitol Hill, so it’s really centrally located.

Best stay in all of downtown Seattle. Isn’t as expensive as the others and it is five stars all the way. The rooms are amazing and beds are so comfortable! City noise but you are going to get that with anything. The bellman genuinely cared about my stay and left me breakfast options hand written for eggs Benedict at my door for the morning… You can tell they all love their job and made it quite a delight to stay there! An awesome coffee shop is directly caddy corner to the hotel and within walking distance to anything! I will be staying here again!

Friendly staff, quiet room, operable windows, fantastic climate controls (the «fan» setting is a great option on a nice cool night– it sucks in the lovely fresh cool outside air– perfect for 40f nights). Housekeeping came reliably at around 9am which is very much my preference. I only used the fitness centre once, preferring to take my 10,000++ steps each day in the challengingly hilly neighbourhoods in Seattle, but when I did it was clean as a whistle with very good well-​maintained equipment.
The location could not be better. Three blocks, perhaps a five minute walk, to the light rail station means a cheap and fast train ride to and from the airport. In one direction is downtown and Pike Place; in the other are the delights of Capital Hill.
I will absolutely stay here again.
