A house/studio the Nautilus is the perfect Georgetown art gallery. Brimming with adventurous art pieces from gothic wall hangings to smaller steampunk-esque items, there was art in ever corner of the small space. And the pieces work together to create a space that has an otherworldly feeling. I highly recommend modern art enthusiasts, steampunks, and generally curious folks take some time to check out this place, as it depicts the cutting edge of our independent art scene. Meanwhile I am going to get to work figuring out what room in my house needs wall art comprised of white feathers, pearls, and other shiny bits…

I don’t have a ton to say about this place. Being an engineer, I don’t tend to frequent art galleries much. But I can’t think of a single thing that isn’t positive! A friend of mine had his stuff on display here recently. It’s a ridiculously cool space. It’s in a really funky/cool house. Seriously, the house is as much or more of a work of art as what’s displayed. And Yvette is one of the nicest people I’ve met in a while. I understand that this review isn’t «funny» so anyone who clicks on that button is probably just lying to make me feel better about myself. That’s very sweet of you. Maybe I won’t suicide after all.
