I love this place. My grandpa was a surviving POW of the Japanese for the duration of WWII and yeah there is nazi memorabilia but that is a part of history that shouldn’t be forgotten or lost. For the intolerant people out there having memorabilia doesn’t make you a nazi or anti semite.

My wife and I have been junking for years and are hearts dropped when Deluxe Junk shut down, I felt where will we go now and pow we found the Daily Planet, It had a nice array of great things from the past. Richard helped us and took his time sharing so many great stories as he walked us through store. We had a great time and found a amazing elephant radio lamp, love it. Were definitely heading back as soon as we can :) Thanks Richard ! Curtis & Andrea AKA A Holiday Wonderland & Litliskitur collectibles

Fun place to browse. Prices vary-you can negotiate. The guy who is usually there is friendly and pleasant.

Walking into the Daily Planet you get the distinct smell of moth balls… mmmmm yuk. I am convinced this place is a bodega! I never really see anything move out of this place, all the larger items seem to just sit and collect dust.

Wacky, wacky Phinney Ridge store. Antiques? Sort of grandma’s closet complete with the smell. Something sitting out on the sidewalk caught my eye so we banged a u turn and went back to check things out. Price is right for many great items. Oy, the smell in there though. I think the thing I bought should air itself out but I may need to Febreeze it. Nice guy. NO debit/credit. Cash and check only.
