The staff is super helpful and the owner is great to talk to! Everything is really good quality so you know the money you spend is well worth it. If your in the village you should def stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

I respect rules and understand all stores have different ones. Went in today and had my small dog with me, I asked if he could come in, they said no dogs. I said«Ok!» Got in my car and Ciao. That’s their policy and that’s fine. I just think that on a Sunday, with 81 degree weather football games, and NOBODY shopping in the store –which has concrete floors but doesn’t matter because I make sure my dog takes care of business prior to entering– one could bend the rules a little sometimes… unless the staff is allergic, which could be the case. Anyway, this rule cost them dearly because I was ready to spend an obscene amount of money on last minute impulse speed shopping(who doesn’t love that kind of crazy female shopper huh?) prior to leaving on a trip on clothes for me and a bunch of gifts. Is cool. I’ll shop when I get to my destination. Magnolia has one of the highest percentage of dogs. All I’m saying is that I guarantee they could increase their sales by a lot if they were pet friendly in a neighborhood where every single store is. But then again, rules are rules. Even if they will cost you thousands of $$$$$$

If you are looking for customer service here, you will find none(especially from the owner). THISPLACEISSOBAD! I HATEIT. Actually I do not believe that the staff is bad. They are actually really polite and friendly people. However, recently I have encountered the OWNER of the Brik both in the store and in another location. The owner is incredibly rude and appalling horrible. She is so mean to everyone, as I have seen her in other stores and she treats people so terribly. I know that this seems off topic(talking about the owner), but I do not believe in endorsing a mean person. So I suggest that you never go here.

I stopped in last Friday evening on the way to meet friends for drinks in Magnolia. I didn’t expect to buy anything, but found a great black«dressy casual» button down shirt that was on sale. I got a $ 145 shirt for $ 48! Over the weekend, I checked online to see what I could have gotten it for elsewhere. The lowest price I could find for a similar shirt by the same designer was $ 98 on the Nordstrom site. I love the shirt, and think I got a great deal on it.

I feel like I really scored big today. I was just on a stroll in the village today when I stumbled upon Brik. I was just thumbing through the clearance rack outside when I was greeted by a stunning woman and offered some assistance. After trying on a couple of items she offered me a Heineken! We chatted for a bit and I made my purchase. I got a great deal on a very nice John Varvatos Polo. It was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

I am a huge fan of local businesses and try to use them whenever there’s an option to do so. The Brik has a great selection of high quality clothing and there are regular sales, there is usually at least one 70% off rack to choose from. I’ve been to The Brik on several occasions and have purchased full price items as well as pieces from their sale rack. I enjoy going into the store and seeing new clothes. Unfortunately, the customer service leaves something to be desired. Even after visiting the store on multiple occasions and spending hundreds of dollars with them, the sales staff and owner are stand offish and make me feel as though I’m intruding. It’s usually an awkward experience. Beyond that, they seem genuinely offended by people who take advantage of their sales racks. I’m not sure if the convenience is worth the discomfort– I could spend the same or less money at Nordstrom and be spared the attitude problem.
