I am glad this place is sixty blocks away because if it was walking distance it would be a serious threat to my waistline. Teriyaki, in general, is a huge weakness, and Teriyaki Time does it a well as pretty much anyone. The Spicy is spicy, the regular isn’t too sweet, the sushi rolls are totally craving-crushing(for the price), and the rice and salad is what it needs to be. Nothing to complain about at all — order much, sleep hard.

So, this was a nice little find and my first time here was very impressive. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of the friendliest people you could ever meet and I’m kicking myself because I have already forgotten her name. The menu has all the standard stuff you might find at a teriyaki restaurant although they also slip in a few surprises one of which being french fries! Kind of odd, but someone did order them while I was there so I guess it works. I ordered a combination with spicy beef and chicken katsu both of which I would say were above average although the portion size of the whole meal was much larger than I was expecting. There was also two scoops of white rice and a salad the size of which would shame the typical«side salad» of most other restaurants out there and I’m talking all restaurants. The interior was very clean and well kept. Not sure how long these guys have been here, but it definitely isn’t showing any type of wear and tear. The service continued to be excellent and it was fun to watch nearly every person that walked in get greeted by name along with being asked if they will be having their usual items again today. i chatted with the lady briefly on my way out and she handed me a punch card in hopes that I would soon become one of those same regulars. I’d say there’s a pretty solid chance of that happening.

Never a bad moment other than the occasional wait, but the owner always acknowledges me when that happens to let me know that she hasn’t forgotten about me. The food is always great and is a regular place I go for pick up after a long day at work. Just be sure to call in early when you are picking up.

Always delicious! The lady who works there is so sweet and kind. I love coming to this place and the prices are good! Definitely recommend chicken or beef teriyaki, noodles or bento! Tonight I was starving and realized it was 8:45 and they close at 9. I called and the lady was so kind and let me order a quick togo order. I really appreciate their customer service. Defiantly best teriyaki on Greenwood Ave!

Good service, lots of food. I came towards the end of the night on a weekday, so my chicken teriyaki was a little dry. The flavor was good though, so I’ll be back on a day at a more common hour!

Love this place. Come here every other week for lunch during work. The lady that runs the register is super nice and friendly. Food is great and comes in large portions.

This is our go to teriyaki place for nights when we don’t want to cook! We order the same thing every time! lol Beef tips, chicken fried rice, chicken katsu, and chicken teriyaki. All are pretty yummy. It does seem like its more expensive than our teriyaki place in Tacoma, but it’s really convenient for us since it’s literally like 3 minutes from our house. I only wished they delivered! But, we can’t have everything! lol

This is the hands down, the best teriyaki joint on this side of I-5! They give out huge portions of chicken and the food was DABOMB! The dressing for the side salad is amazing and I enjoyed eating my chicken teriyaki with the salad instead of the rice. The customer service by the front desk lady was superb. Will definitely come back soon to try something else on the menu!

I used to always come here because the Katsu was perfect every time, but since management changed, it’s never been the same.

Best teriyaki I’ve had. Owned by koreans. The chicken Katsu & beef combo is beautiful. Why can’t all teriyaki be like this?!

This place was a last minute thing on the way home and we figured it had pretty good reviews. We lucked out! They have THEBEST pork fried rice I’ve ever tried. My boyfriend got a beef/chicken combo plate with brown rice; the sauce was delicious and the beef was very tender. The portions were pretty big and we had leftovers which heated up nicely for lunch at work. We wish it was closer to home because we would be there all the time.

Decent teriyaki, but not one of my favorites. Normally, my husband and I agree on teriyaki that we are trying but this time, I thought the chicken was quite bland and flavorless. He thought it was good with a lot of flavor. Were we eating different parts of the chicken? Portions weren’t huge unlike some teriyaki places either. You Do get free tea and the lady at the counter was sweet. Even so, I probably won’t go back.

Solid teriyaki every time, friendly staff and the food is always ready quickly. Convenient location when picking something up on the way. The standard teriyaki chicken doesn’t miss the mark and the spicy chicken teriyaki has a good amount of kick to it.

Pretty good Teri plates. We got the chicken katsu & beef combo. The beef was very sweet and if there is such a thing, over marinated? The sauce on it was sweet and very heavy. The chicken katsu was great and katsu sauce not sweet at all. The Teri chicken and Gyoza was good. The portions were great and we had plenty of leftovers. Would like to try the ramen or udon next time, along with the side of tempura.

Although Asian restaurants are fairly common, Teriyaki Time has captured my attention. Known for their wide selection of various teriyaki dishes and mixed influences of Korean and Japanese cuisine, this is yet another hidden gem found within Northgate Seattle. The teriyaki dishes like the beef teriyaki is well flavored, tender and goes great with their many side dishes such as their kimchi, gyoza(dumplings), and salads. Their kimchi is not as spicy as i would like, but for those who havn’t had kimchi before, thiers would be a good start. The gyoza or dumplings are cooked perfectly and seasoned well. For those not in the mood for teriyaki of any sort? They also offer other dishes such as a variety of yakisoba(beef, chicken, shrimp, and tofu to name a few), katsu dishes(breaded and deep fried dish topped with tonkatsu sauce), and fried rice. If you come in and aren’t in the mood for a heavy dish, well Teriyaki Time also serves sushi and veggie stir fry. As common as Asian cuisine can be, for those who havn’t experienced Asian cuisine and are looking for a unique place to try it, and you just happen to be around north Seattle… Teriyaki Place might just be your go-to spot for a good Asian experience. The ambiance is quiet and welcoming, the staff is friendly and helpful, prices are affordable, and there is a homey feel to the restaurant. Do you know what time it is??? It’s Teriyaki Time!!! :)

Nice people, clean, and good service! I would come back and give this place another shot. I ordered some bulgogi the other day and it was so-so. The sauce was good but the meat was kinda chewy. I thought maybe it was just some parts but it was pretty much the whole thing. I wasn’t too fond of the celery though in it. I may not be Korean but I don’t recall ever having celery in my bulgogi. It just threw the taste off. Also the soy sauce sucked through I do appreciate restaurants that use OG so racha sauce instead of the bam bam. Around $ 12 with a drink? Naw not worth it. Well I guess its what I get for going to a teriyaki place and ordering something besides teriyaki.

This is definitely my favorite teriyaki joint. I’m a big teri fan and am rather selective about the places I’ll return to. I love their egg rolls, spicy chicken, and sushi. The staff is always very friendly and the food is fast. It’s the only Asian restaurant I have in speed dial.

Seven years ago, I went into T-Time(that’s what we call it in my house). I was alone and pushing my child in a stroller. I was a new mom and really didn’t have the street cred to be able to eat AND hold my child at the same time. Luckily, the kindly matron of T-Time came over and held my baby while I ate. Since then, we have been regulars and love to eat there whenever we can. I prefer the chicken katsu and I’m such a freak about the salad dressing. I don’t know why I love it so much, I just do. They sell it by the bottle(I know because I buy it). I eat katsu at many, many places and not many of standards but T-Time is my «go to.» My partner prefers yakisoba that comes on a sizzling plate and crisps the bottom of the noodles. When I used to eat rice, we used to get the pork fried rice to go as a side dish. It’s a big portion and everyone in my family could agree on it(which is rare). I’m looking forward to another 7 years of eating at Teriyaki Time. It’s a comforting place with dependability that’s hard to come by.
