How are you going to be called teriyaki plus serving food with NO teriyaki sauce on it. Ordered teriyaki chicken and steak. Came out with NO sauce on it. Got it to go so not going back just for sauce. Just won’t go back!

Teriyaki Plus is your typical, run of the mill teriyaki place. Service wasn’t exceptional, but nothing negative. I had a to-go order which did take longer than expected to prepare, and I was one of only 3 customers all waiting for our orders. I am they provide the teriyaki sauce on the side in a small container, and I would have liked more sauce than I received. The salad was meh, very large but no dressing. Overall though, nothing was bad and the portions were sizeable with a reasonable price tag. I have a feeling there are better teriyaki places in the area, so I will likely try some of my other options before returning.

This is one of my go to teriyaki joints. My favorites are the teriyaki chicken breast and beef teriyaki! Kevin is a homie and always gets my order right.

Good dishes all around! My favorite is the short ribs, I like how you can make your food spicy for a little extra! 8 piece gyoza is a good price and egg rolls are spot on ! Only complaint would be I ordered gyoza one time and got only 5 instead of eight! I live right across the street so can’t complain when I’m coming from class and don’t feel like standing over the stove before studying! Take out sometimes takes a minute but the owner is pretty nice ! I’ve had the short ribs from 3 other places and they just don’t beat this one in portion size. They are a bit pricey but yohll definitely be full off of just one order by itself. Overall great teriyaki place!

I ordered katsu chicken and I never heard of a Teriyaki restaurant that does not have or provide katsu sauce in their katsu chicken.

Good food, decent price. Needs an upgrade on the customer service, other than that not bad. I’ll continue to come here.

The venue is pretty dingey. Old dirty tables and chairs probably from the late 80’s. When I went there is was entirely empty yet the on table I wanted to sit at had sriracha stains that needed to be wiped down. I ordered the chicken and beef combo for dine in. They don’t really distinguish packaging for dine in vs. take out. It’s all essentially take out, which is annoying since all the food is mashed into the box. The chicken I had was overcooked and so was the beef. They don’t really put any sauce on and kind of leave it up to you, which for me doesn’t make sense. They give you a massive and I mean massive like 2 – 3 cups of race and salad. I’ve never seen so much rice in a teriyaki meal. My box was quite heavy. The portions of meat were fair. I recommend new chairs, dine in utensils and plates and to sauce the meat and serve condiments at each table. Also obviously to be less aggressive on the grill.

Every time I come home to Seattle, I visit the Teriyaki Plus in the U-District, even before I see my family. Because, you know, priorities. My favorite is the beef teriyaki. I love this stuff and hope that Teriyaki Plus is around for many more years to come!

Terrible customer service. Wanted to charge $ 0.50 for salad dressing after the fact, didn’t have cash, so couldn’t have any.

Good teriyaki joint! Spicy chicken is spot on, not over-cooked or over-sauced. Very generous portions; one entrée could easily feed two people for a light lunch. I’m a big eater, and I could not finish the massive bed of rice and salad my meal came with. The service is prompt and very friendly, even to non-Asians, which is not often the case here in the Asia-centric U District. That explains the large, very diverse and happy crowd this place attracts(I counted Indian/Pakistanis, Caucasians, African Americans, Pacific Islanders, and Asians all waiting eagerly in line here! Wonderful!) Highly recommended. The missing star is for a lack of upkeep and organization– there are piles of supplies, beverages, and bags of rice cluttering the front counter area that make the store feel messy and unkempt. I’ll happily ignore a bit of mess to eat here!

Food was not very good but worse than that was the service. The man at the front counter was very rude. When I asked for a fork I was yelled at because I had already gotten chopsticks. From the minute we walked in the worker gave us only salty looks, never saying thank you.

While it’s not the *best* Teriyaki in Seattle, it’s sufficient to feed that *strike*quick*/strike* teriyaki fix. Oh, but wait… if you need it quick you should probably call it in first. We were the only ones in on a weeknight around 6pm. The place is pretty small. We walk up to the counter and order. We can see the kitchen… and the guy uses a PA system to call the order to the back. We both almost cracked up right there in front of him. After sitting for 20 minutes, our food arrived. It was, as I said before, sufficient for teriyaki, but not a place I would go out of my way for. I would blame the slow on call in orders… but the phone never rang and only one person came in to pick food up while we were there. They get an extra star for being pleasant, friendly, and smiley!

I still come here occasionally even though my job moved elsewhere, and he STILL remembers what I order(and that I eat half in, then need a bag to take the leftovers home) Great portions — witness all the construction workers who eat here. Great food and great value for money. I leave so happy that I buy a Lotto ticket from the store next door on my way out. (I know, tax on the stupid, but what the heck!!)

Above average teriyaki joint right on Roosevelt. Had the spicy chicken and beef combo and every bite was delicious. Service was fairly quick and the foh server hooked me up with tons of extra sauce and napkins. This will be my go-to fit yaki

Best teriyaki joint around! I’ve been going here for over a decade! They have brown rice and steamed broccoli to pair up with the beef and chicken combo! never had a bad meal here!

Great service! Always has a smile on his face. This is my wife’s and my guilty pleasure weekend food. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Try the spicy chicken. Egg rolls are really good as well.

I would love to support this business because it is family run and very close to work. But the food is just okay, and the guy who takes the order always seem to act as if he is doing me a huge favor when I am there. There is a underlying, pernicious type of rudeness that I would rather not deal with.

For a small, basically fast food teriyaki joint, this place is great. I come every weekend on my lunch break and the couple that runs it are top notch. Suggestions would have to be the chicken katsu. They give you a ton of food and it’s actually a little cheaper than some of the other places I’ve tried around here. Also whatever sauce they put on their salad actually makes me crave lettuce. Finally, and this is a big deal for me because I’m from Orange County, I don’t have to park on the street when I go! They have a little lot that almost always has an open spot. Amazing.

My kids hate teriyaki, so it’s contraband in my family except for times when I have broken free of their clutches. I also am not a huge fan, but I get weird collegiate cravings – especially when I’ve gone too long without eating and am vulnerable to less good ideas. I am going to try and stay on-topic here and not let the fact that the whole time I was waiting for my takeout order(at least 15 minutes) I had to endure these two Mexican guys lasciviously discussing my body in Spanish. Heads-up, lower-brow guys who so poorly represent what is otherwise a simply wonderful culture: SPANISHISN’T A FUCKIN’ SECRETANYMORE! We’re onto you – not that you’d be subtle even if you were speaking Tagalog or! Kung. Okay, now that that’s out of the way. Teriyaki Plus, I absolutely realize that you can’t control the overall Yech Factor of your patrons. But see, the thing is, if this tiny place – which is clearly a takeout joint despite their slim seating offerings – would just be faster about it, we’d have to endure these ridiculous leery blatherings for less time. I wish I could turn Spanish into white noise, but fluency has a dark side. About the food: spicy items cost a dollar more. I don’t get that. It’s not cheap enough to reflect the quality of chicken(I had some of the dread Unchewable Morsels that you have to spit into your napkin). I don’t like when that happens. But I secretly like the mayonnaisey iceberg lettuce(normally I have fundamentalist hatred of iceberg lettuce but that creamy sauce neutralizes my contempt), and they’re very generous with the rice. But I’d like it a little faster, a tad bit cheaper, and no spicy surcharge.
