Tempus Detailing

I was trying to find a clean and effective interior cleaner and I got it in one go! Although it is intended for people in the building but I really like this place and go out of my way and try to go at their hours.

The staff was very fast, friendly, and informative. I would highly recommend them for any type of job. I went in to get a lot of tree sap off of my car. They did an excellent job!
They also communicate quickly. I emailed them a week before I went in and it was around 7pm. I wasn’t expecting a response, but I received an email back within 10 – 15 mins.

These gentlemen did the BEST job on my 2002 Legacy that had tree sap drippings all over the car. It looks like a NEW car, all shiny and clean, inside and out. The price was very reasonable, they are super friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they did not high-​pressure me into the more expensive detailing. I got the basic one which was just BEAUTIFUL. I would definitely recommend it and go back there.

My first time with Tempus was pretty good.
I have a black car and they did a decent job when I left it out with them in the morning and picked it up again in the evening.
They waxed the car and did a pretty neat job on the inside by vacuuming the interiors and cleaning the leather seats.
The second time though, was a horrid experience.
I called in on Friday morning and they said they were completely booked. So I asked them for a monday late afternoon appointment. They said that it was completely do-​able and put me down for monday.
Come monday and I go to them at my scheduled appointment time, they tell me that they’d written down the time wrong on their side and thus they gave away my slot. I needed the car cleaned, so after negotiating a bit, I got them to clean my car on the outside and vacuum + wipe down of the interior surfaces.
After being pretty rude and finally agreeing to do the job in 2 hours, I pick up my car and the interiors were hardly wiped down. They did vacuum it but didn’t bother wiping them down. They charged me an extra 50 $ for wiping down interiors but didn’t do that!
Horrible experience. I’ve had much better experience with Mr. detail across the street from them, and I’m going to be sticking to Mr. Detail from now on.

I had high hopes for this shop. I was sorely disappointed.
I recently bought a Honda for a great price but it needed some cosmetic work. It was not detailed when I bought it, clean, but not detailed by any means.
I took it to Tempus and felt that I was treated differently because i didn’t bring in a luxury vehicle. I was fully ready to pay the price for a full interior detail and spoke to the technician beforehand, outlining all of my concerns. Mainly wanted the stains in the seats taken out, but wanted the rest of the car polished off as well. They also said they could remove some sticky substance on the outside bumper from a previous component.
I received no call updating me on the service, so I picked it up at the scheduled time. The tech informed me that since the car was so clean and I «didn’t really need» a full detail they didn’t charge me the full amount, but they also barely went over the car. I received maybe a $ 30 discount and the car looked exactly the same. They were unable to get the stains out of the seat, left a greasy film over the surfaces they did wipe, and obviously ignored 80% of the car because it «looked clean».
The least they could have done was call me to ask if I wanted to skip the full detail for a discount. Now they’ve just wasted 4 hours of my day and gave me the same car back. They also said that the floor mat on the driver side was a «permanent dirt stain» when I asked why it was still dirty. I went home and wiped it with a damp cloth and it came out. They also did not remove the sticky substance on the outside as they offered.
Just because I don’t have a luxury vehicle does not mean I don’t want my car to be treated with the same care and respect. Now I’m going to have to take to another shop to get a legitimate detail. I will never visit this shop again and highly recommend finding somewhere else.

These guys always do a great job. Very accommodating and costs are reasonable. I have used them 6 or 7 times and they’ve really helped me out (coffee spill one day, they were able to fit me in). The only place I go in Seattle.

Called yesterday to ask whether they could detail the car. Ends up the week after thanksgiving is usually pretty empty, so they got me in the next day (on my request not to do it that day). I got the Mini service, which they claim is their most popular, and I can see why. The car is my wife’s and this was my gift to her, a surprise auto detailing.
The good:
* Booking call — Very straightforward and simple. I called, they picked up, was booked in within 5 minutes.
* Finding the place — Google Street view was pretty informative, and it wasn’t that difficult to get there and drive in. Parking bays are reserved for customers which made life even easier.
* The paperwork — simple and straightforward. There’s a disclaimer that is pretty standard — remove valuables, etc. with a $ 100 limit for damage.
* The service — Fantastic. The car went in having been used for dog duties, camping and all kinds of things a Nissan Versa should not be used for, and came out sparkling clean. When I went to pick up the car I could see from across the garage that it was much, much cleaner.
* Speed of service — car was dropped off at 7:30am, finished at 10:36am. It was pretty filthy, so I wasn’t surprised, but they did say 11:30am or so for the finish time.
* Cost — I gave them a 20% tip and it was less than $ 170, which is what I had budgeted for. I thought this was very reasonable as the quality of the job done and the difficulty of the cleaning being performed, I feel like it was money well spent. There is an option to email the receipt, which I elected to do, and that worked out nicely. Coincidentally, the payment system is very easy to use.
The bad:
* Phone was a little crackly/​hard to hear but otherwise was simple.
* The mirrors were moved around slightly — I think this would happen anywhere so if there was room for growth in the overall service, it would just be to warn people to adjust their mirrors when they pick up their keys.
* They never asked what kind of tire finish I wanted applied, but I didn’t care about that.

Overall value for money — I’d put this in the good value for money department. I will be going back again next year in the fall to get the car detailed again, that’s for sure, these guys have earned repeat business with the quality of the work they have done.

Brought my car in for detailing today for the first time at Tempus and I could not be happier with the results. They did a fantastic job and it is without question the best detailing effort I’ve ever seen. I usually bring my car to the Jaguar dealership, but not anymore; from here on out it’s Tempus. Really nice team there on top of the great service.

I made an appointment a month in advance and gave them my phone number. I watched the attendant write my information down on their wall calendar. When I showed up for my appointment, the same attendant told me that he had given my spot away to someone else. He claimed my appointment was for 8 a.m., but he never communicated that to me. I showed up just before 9. He compared himself to a doctor’s office and asked me what my doctor would do if I were an hour late. (Doctor’s offices always call the day before to confirm appointments.) When I asked him why he didn’t give me a courtesy call when he saw I was running late, given he had my phone number, he said he was too busy. He was completely unapologetic. He said there was nothing he could do for me, unless I wanted to leave my car overnight. It wasn’t an option for me. If you want reliably good customer service and a business that will be accountable for miscommunications (or lack thereof), don’t bring your vehicle to this place.

Just picked my car up from Tempus and W O W. They did a fantastic job. I am 100% satisfied. Their prices were very reasonable too.
You can tell that these guys really are committed to service and high quality work. I will be back again no doubt!

Great place, great guys, great job! Brought my wife’s Volvo S80 in for a Signature Mini with added clay bar service — it was pretty clean anyway because I’d just handwashed it myself, but after Adam and his crew were finished with it looked brand new! The paint looks fantastic and so does the interior. . and as for the wheels and tires. . amazing! Will certainly be bringing my car here in the future. . and recommending the pace to anybody I know!

These guys are as good as it gets!
High class in all aspects. Extremely friendly staff who not only know what they’re doing, but clearly enjoy what they’re doing. Very knowledgeable and will explain exactly what they did to bring your car to life. I dare you to find a better shop in town!

It’s been two full months since I had my Xterra detailed and it’s still clean. These actually cared more about how clean my vehicle was than I do and I thank them for that.
Very «detail» oriented, super nice, honest and a great experience all around.

Got the SUV a nearly full detail and I fell in love with my car all over again.
I love that you don’t have to choose from a pre-​defined package and can just tell them what you want or need cleaned and they will give you a very reasonable price.

You guys did a great job cleaning the inside of my car. But you did not touch the inside of my trunk, it’s still dirty. The «signature mini» specifies the trunk area will be cleaned. Sometimes I think my expectations are too high, but come on man. All you do all day is clean cars, surely you can remember to vacuum the trunk out. Minus two stars for Tempus Detailing’ s lack of detail.

We were thrilled with our car. It looked terrific after Tempus laid their skilled hands on it. Great location.
Our car had been stored for six months at Sea-​Tac Self Storage. We picked it up and it had MOLD growing on every interior surface. It was DISGUSTING. It was a SUNDAY!!! After calling 15 – 20 auto cleaning businesses the Tempus owner answered his phone on Sunday and met us at his well located business within fifteen minutes… We couldn’t believe it! He explained the process the car would need (heat, enzymes, steam) and allayed our panic. He is true to his word on cost and outcome. I offered a deposit but he said the car is enough of a deposit! His location is great, we could walk a couple of blocks to pickup a rental car or walk to to the train. I trust this guy and this business. I got to meet the detailer and he was very wonderful as well.
I can’t say enough about how astounded we were with the ease, professionalism and skill of Tempus Detailing. Because of them, a very bad day turned into a good day after all. He also agreed to store our car next month, at a very reasonable price, and assured us no mold would happen on his watch. We live in the desert and had never experienced that mold could grow in a car. It just never occurred to us.

They picked up the vehicle at home and had it back the next day looking like it was brand new.

I was super pleased with Tempus. I have a 98 Toyota Tacoma that has succumbed to Seattle’s wetness, tree pitch and lots of wet dogs in the front seat. It was covered in oxidation and starting to moss-​over. I tried scrubbing it at home, but it wouldn’t budge. I got worried that the black crap on the paint was permanent and would impact resale value.
So, I started looking for detailers and found Magnus. After a quick call with Adam, I dropped off the truck with a handshake agreement on price.
I was amazed with the work. The paint looked like new. It was restoration and detailing. The guys were courteous and professional.
If I ever let my truck get in that shape again, I’ll take it back to Tempus.
