Clean establishment. Only had like 8 favors to choose from. Kind of weird flavors, which is fine as long as you keep some of the regular normal flavors available also.

The cleanest TCBY I have ever seen! Lots of topping choices. Extremely friendly service by Kara L. Also had family friendly radio station on in the background, perfect for taking my girls to.

Service is terrible. Their all you can eat is a scam where they only allow you to serve yourself once. The people that work there are complete jerks.

Ahh I love TCBY yogurt! It truly is «The Country’s Best Yogurt» and I wish there were more locations. Sure, they may not have as many topping choices as Menchies or kooky fun flavors like Yogurtland but when it comes to quality of the actual froyo, TCBY is hands down the most superior! Stopped by this location on my way back up to Seattle and was delighted to see my two favorite flavors: white chocolate mousse and cheesecake! The store was clean and well-kept, fully stocked, and has a swanky vibe with the new concept of TCBY. The employees were nice, handing out sample cups(although I do prefer when the cups are already laid out so I don’t have to awkwardly ask for some). Overall, it’s hard to mess up a TCBY experience(unless they don’t carry white chocolate mousse *knock on wood*) but I wish there were more locations! Seems like a bunch of TCBY locations are now joined with Mrs. Fields so they also sell cookies here, although I’ve yet to try them. I’m also glad that I avidly Unilocal because there is a 10% off check-in discount so don’t forget to check in when you’re here! :D **THEYCARRYTHOSEAMAZINGMINIGUMMYBEARS! Not your average flavors… they come in a rainbow of flavors compared to your standard five and they are one of my main reasons for going to TCBY!**

I like this place… Overall. Good location(right by the doors on 6th and Union), good flavors of froyo, good smoothies. They make one of my favorite smoothies around downtown(not sure about healthy, but it’s satisfying). But there are a few disclaimers. Prices are a tad high(like every smoothie I’ve found in this area), so this isn’t a cheap treat. Service is hit or miss; I’ve never encountered anyone rude here, but I haven’t met anyone that seemed enthusiastic to be there, either. It’s a steep contrast from their neighbors. They don’t always have the right ingredients to make all of the smoothie flavors(and there are only a few of them). There’s a decent wait for them, too, so be prepared to give it a few minutes. Some of the employees seem to be more flexible than others; one offered to customize the smoothie for me(it was amazing), and a few days later, a different employee just seemed baffled when I asked about it. I have to wonder what would happen to this place if they bumped up the focus on service and consistency. But the froyo is good. My criticism is from a place of genuine fondness for the product.

Shame on you TCBY! Basically never do I walk into a yogurt shop and walk out empty handed. Well, there is a first time for everything. Reason 1 this TCBY is an epic fail: It is never open. Really… you are supposed to be open according to the sign and then the two times I go, you are closed? That’s just a mean tease for a desperate fro yo girl. Reason 2 this TCBY is a catastrophic fail: The flavors were all melted. I tried two flavors and they were both melted. At this point, I had three sample cups(maybe the only good thing about this location is that you can self sample) and I walked out after the two melted, watery flavors. Shame, shame, shame. I love the other TCBY locations where the yogurt is tasty and not melted, and I really wish this location was up to par!

I was de-lighted to find out that there was a TCBY a mere half mile from my work. Whenever I was in the Alderwood area, I always tried to pop in for a cup of their white chocolate mousse, but sadly I don’t visit that area too often. Anyways, I popped into the downtown one last week and was so glad to see that a.) they still have white chocolate mousse(fond memories of visits to my hometown TCBY when I was wee) and b.) this location served FRESH fruit in the toppings bar! Every time I had visited the other locations, I was served the syrup-y strawberries, which can be good sometimes, but at least with the fresh ones I can pretend to be healthy. ;o) And bonus for this being a combo location with Mrs. Field’s! I do love her cookies, so if I’m ever feeling extra indulgent, I have the option of adding on a mini chocolate chip cookie or two. Yay!

White Chocolate Mousse = best froyo flavor of all-time, anywhere. This TCBY location = not the best, but still very good. The yogurt is super rich and creamy — soooo good. Prices are 49 cents per ounce, which is a bit higher than other places like Menchies, but it is worth it. They have lots of delicious toppings — so many that I can see it being hard to choose what to put on! With the White Chocolate Mousse though, it is so good that it doesn’t NEED any toppings at all. I added some rainbow sprinkles and I was good to go. I don’t like that they don’t have sample cups out at this location. My friend and I looked around for them and didn’t get one until one of the employees came up and offered them to us. I know people abuse the samples sometimes, but this doesn’t really seem like the place that would happen? The place was very clean and well lit. The space is a little awkward, but there are plenty of places to sit. FYI — Check in on Unilocal beforehand and get 10% off your froyo! Wish I’d checked in BEFORE I’d bought my dessert!

I wish there were more TCBY’s around because this is by far my favorite frozen yogurt. In my opinion they have the best tasting frozen yogurt though — it is creamy and rich and doesn’t get watered down as quickly like the menchies, yogurtland, etc. They don’t have as many toppings as menchies or yogurtland, but that doesn’t bother me because as long as the yogurt taste good, all I need are some sprinkles and I’m good to go. This location is nice and clean and the employees were friendly. Depending on which side of the building you come in at though, it can be a bit of a maze finding it in there. Oh, and they have«happy hour» where between I believe, 5−6pm you can get your froyo fix for half price!

OK… I obviously frequent this place a lot, but what can I say? It’s «nutricious» and delicious. So today I went downstairs with two coworkers. I went straight for the tart with every intention of piling on the strawberries and dousing it with honey… on that note, TCBY needs crushed graham cracker topping… anyway, my coworkers ordered smoothies. Apparently it takes two worker bees to make smoothies, because yet again, I was left waiting at the counter for someone to ring me up while my yogurt turned to strawberry soup. Even when one minion was done with a smoothie, she proceeded to help someone out with cookies rather then ring me up for my soup. Very aggravating…

Ok, so I don’t do this very often but I decided to give these guys another chance today. I was in desperate need of frozen yogurt and tcby just happened to be around the corner. From my previous experience I wasn’t too excited of what was to come. I tried a sample of white chocolate mousse, peanut butter cup and greek yogurt and was, to say the least, kind of amazed. As much as I hate to to say it, today’s frozen yogurt at tcby was delicious. So different from what I had a couple months ago. They had an extremely creamy consistency and velvety smooth flavor. The greek yogurt is still a little on the artificial side but the consistency won me over. I had another surprise at the cashier, as I was recognized for my negative review on the place. If it weren’t for the fact that this stuff actually tasted good now, I wouldn’t have been as embarrassed as I was. As much as I didn’t want to write a now positive review after that encounter, I simply had to, as the frozen yogurt I had today and the staff doesn’t even compare to what I experienced a couple months back. So who ever you are, cashier girl, expect to be seeing me again and hopefully no hard feelings. However, I still find your frozen yogurt to be a little over priced. That is all.

I was excited when I first discovered this location because this is 1 of 2 self-serve froyo places in the downtown area. However, there still many things they can improve on to be competitive with other froyo places in Seattle, and I agree with all of Maia’s points in her review. 1. Sampling cups: The guy working there went to the machines with me and got me the samples. I don’t like this for 2 reasons: 1. I feel like they don’t trust me with being reasonable with my samples and 2. I really care about personal hygiene and I’d rather hold my own sampling cup. 2. The prices: I had a birthday certificate($ 3) and even after the discount, I still owed $ 4. Their froyo prices here are the most in all of Seattle, and I didn’t even fill my cup that much! 3. Consistency: The frozen yogurt here is extremely watery. By the time you sit down, you’re basically left with frozen yogurt soup! I’m super bummed out about all of these issues because I work really close to this TCBY location and I LOVE self-serve frozen yogurt. I don’t think I’ll be getting my froyo fix downtown. You’ll be much happier going to Zoeyogurt in Green Lake, or even the Menchies/Yogurtland chains.

In response to Maia D. I’ll keep it simple… You sound like you work at Yogurtland. You clearly don’t know about business or the difference between the Yogurt joints out there. 1st response: Artificial flavor? Doesn’t Yogurtland and TCBY both have artificial and natural flavoring? Seriously, fro-yo by the pound has got to be the best food fad of 2012. You can keep your pork belly, I prefer the fro-yo. This fro yo place is tucked away in an inconspicuous corner of downtown but it’s worth finding. Lots of fresh fruit on the toppings buffet, fun modern décor and the peanut butter fro yo… Oh the peanut butter. PEA. NUT. BUTTER. Off the chain.

OMG U GAIZ — Le’ts go get some super delicious and healthy TCBY Frozen Yogurt and just to make sure any possible healthiness is instantly negated, let’s get two cookies that come in pie containers and are as big as frisbees! Please, don’t misunderstand, I effing love both TCBY and Mrs. Fields… I just… suddenly fear the introduction of deep fried lettuce…

One word: DELICIOUS. Hands down, the best frozen yogurt in Washington. I live in FW and there are a couple of frozen yogurt places like Menchie’s and Red Mango, but honestly TCBY wins hands down. Tart & Tangy, it’s the original frozen yogurt :) Oh another thing to add: the staff is super friendly. They make me feel so welcome unlike other frozen yogurt shops. Nobody at this location has ever given me a cold shoulder when I walked in or walked out, and when I accidentally drop toppings, no one gives me the death glare… unlike some other places *cough cough*. TCBY is definitely worth visiting if you’re ever in the area, and you can thank me later! :)

It’s finally open! TCBY has been my favorite frozen ANYTHING shop since I was a little pip squeak. Before Red Mango and Menchie’s, The Country’s Best Yogurt(TCBY) has certainly lived up to its name after all these years. They gave me a scare a few years ago when all of the TCBY’s around town started disappearing, but I’m so happy that they found the perfect location right smack in the heart of Seattle(and just across the street from my office, I might add ;p) to cash in on the fro-yo movement that I personally think they do better than anyone else. I did notice that the format is a little different from the traditional TCBY shops that I grew up knowing, as you’ll notice more of the Menchie’s self-serve approach. The Mrs. Fields in the same shop definitely adds a «good and evil» aspect to the shop. TBCY with the fresh and healthy toppings to go along with the fiber, prebiotics & probiotics you get with yogurt, and then on the other side buttery ooey-gooey brownies and cookies to tip the scale. Yes, we CAN«just all get along!» so don’t be too shy to ask them to top your fro-yo with a cookie to keep yourself well balanced. I think they did a fantastic job at revamping the whole TCBY/Mrs. Fields look to create a fun place to take some friends, family, coworkers out to cool down or perk up from the 3:00pm zZzZzZz’s…
