She is fantastic. Just started seeing her and have had two amazing massages. I was having extremely painful neck and shoulder issues and she had me loosie goosie after just one visit. So… she’s my girl! I am scheduled a few times a week for maintenance and I highly recommend her to anyone. Her massage room is dark and quiet, smells nice, and has relaxing music. She has a table warmer and also a nice heavy heating pad for problem areas needing a little pre-​warm up. She offers you water when you’re done (very important) and she is very professional. If you’re a talker, she has excellent conversation skills and will even make you laugh! She’s great, folks.

Tasnim is great. Very good listener with a wide knowledge body/​muscle/​mind connection. It’s important to know a detailed and accurate description of how your feel and what is ailing you is crucial to communicate with your massage therapist. I would highly recommend Tasnim.

I have been seeing Tasnim Harris for medically prescribed massage for two years. Tasnim makes time to check in with me before the massage to see if anything has changed physically. When doing so, she takes excellent notes and keeps tabs on my progress. She has several years experience in massage therapy and makes it a priority to keep her practice fresh by going to classes and learning new things. I have recommended her to several people and will continue to do so.

I was referred by my primary care doctor during the course of treatment for neck injury. To put the injury in context, I ended up getting a spinal injection using MRI. I was undergoing months of physical therapy. So the first thing that one must do — schedule an appointment — was difficult, in part because I was already doing gymnastics with my schedule because of the injury and in part because Tasnim does not make much, if any, effort to accommodate her customer’s schedule. On the contrary, I felt slightly that she was giving me the impression that I was inconveniencing her. When I did arrive for my appointment on time I was given a lot of paperwork — somewhat expected, since I was expecting that insurance would pay for the therapy since it was supposed to be therapeutic, not simply for relaxation or general health. So I filled out the forms and then Tasnim and I talked for a few minutes about the injury and what I expected to get from massage therapy. By the time the actual massage began it was perhaps fifteen minutes after the appointment time. I expected a full hour of massage but that was not to be. After a brief thirty minutes I was told that was it for the day! Now I would normally have great disappointment at being shorted on massage time but the worst part of the whole experience is that of the twenty or thirty massage therapists and a hundred or so massages that I’ve had in my life this was easily the worst one. I left with my neck in much greater pain than when I arrived and immediately needed narcotics. To be clear, my doctor said that the physical therapy would likely cause residual pain and that the purpose of the massage therapy would be for relaxing muscles an calming the pain. So, a total failure on the prime purpose. Then, to top it off, the bill is not paid by insurance and I am stuck with it. If Tasnim knows that it’s rare (or never) that insurance pays for this type of treatment then I would have expected her to tell me that up front. Ultimately the responsibility is mine for ensuring coverage so I call this out only as a matter of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
