Food was mediocre. Doesn’t taste like anything. Bought two burritos n they gave me one for someone else.

I just kind of stumbled upon their food truck that was outside Outer Planet Brewing. A friend was hungry and seemed to have gotten tired of all the walking so he ordered a taco here. After investigating their menu I saw that they had a Chile Relleno Burrito that sounded simply amazing so I ordered that. It lived up to my expectations very nicely and gave me a good heat that I have longed for for a very, very long time! I believe they have a physical location which is very exciting but I could be mistaken. If not I am fully prepared to stalk their food truck all over the city. Yes, I liked my burrito that much!

I’ve seen Taco Goal thousands of times in SODO before Sounders and Seahawks games but didn’t get to try their food until last week, when it was parked in front of the Triplehorn Brewing Co. in Woodinville. For $ 1.80/taco, you really can’t beat the quick, simple, and delicious food that comes from this truck. Unable to decide, I ordered one of each protein that was available that day: asada, pollo, pastor, lengua(my first time), carnitas, chorizo, and barbacoa. A little onion, cilantro, and hot sauce on top, and we were good to go. I was really surprised by the tenderness of the lengua and the flavors of the chorizo and pastor were pretty tasty. Add a little beer from Triplehorn, and I was a happy girl.

Veg-Friendly! They serve field roast here. I get a field roast burrito once a week here. I can still have good Mexican food and be vegan. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I’ll miss this place when I change my job. Overall: B+ for atmosphere/vibe A for speed of service A for customer service A for quality

Cheap, belly-filling Mexican truck within a quick block’s walk from Starbucks Corporate or Zulily offices? YESPLEASE! I go for the mulitas, usually al pastor. You’ll be disappointed if you come here looking for super odd ball organ meats, or special drinks like horchata or agua fresca(they don’t stock ‘em), but easy, convenient, and super inexpensive Mexican taco truck standards are here in abundance.

The carne asada tacos were great! It gets super busy fast, but the food tends to come out quickly. There is no where to sit, so your best to take and it and go. The burritos that my co-workers got were huge!

My husband and I met the owner of this taco truck over the weekend. His tacos were amazing! Very authentic! The best tacos!

I could really go for some Taco Gol right now! I eat there whenever I can’t get my act together enough to bring my lunch to work! I always order the same thing, and the price is different every time. No problem though because it’s always a good deal in the range of $ 4 — $ 6!

I’m very critical of mexican food. I love it and was lucky enough to come from a mexican family where food is our uniting factor so with mexican food I must compare it w/my families cooking and that of mexico. And I have to say I’m quite disappointed about the food here. 1st bad sign, the huge maya’s catering sticker on the side of the cart. Maya’s might be good American place to get rice and beans but it’s not made for the Latinos who know about mexican food. The line was mostly americans, which is sometimes a bad sign because that means that they might go for typical Tex-Mex food than real taqueria food. When I got up to order they informed me that they didn’t have lengua and only had the normal stuff American Approved meat. No «weird stuff» like lengua or sesos. I ordered a burrito and the rice was over cooked. Yes this place is cheap but unfortunately like not worth it. If you want the real experience of mexican food, don’t come here This place gets the«good for americans» stamp in my book and does not pass my authentic test :(

This was my choice of foods at The Summer Solstice Parade. Set up in Gas Works Park for post parade fun. The line was crazy long, but worth it. They took credit cards which for us non cash carriers, is most helpful. I got 3 beef tacos for $ 5. Marinated beef, with onions and cilantro served with a wedge of lime. Awesome! So simple and so good.

This food truck has become my pre– and post-game ritual before Sounders matches. The favors, quality, and prices are great compared to what you would get inside CenturyLink. You’ll get a plate of tacos made with small corn tortillas, topped with either beef, chicken, or pork. The pork has a barbecue seasoning and is easily my favorite. The meats are topped with some onions and come with a lime wedge for a quick hit of citrus. Even though they advertise a plate of three or four tacos, you actually just order the total number of tacos you want. You can even mix and match the fillings to suit your taste. Say, two chicken, one pork and one beef for example. Water and soda are available and you’re gonna eat standing in the street. If there is a long line before the game, you will usually have to wait 10 – 15 minutes to place your order and pickup your food. If you get there when the lines are short, its a pretty quick turn around.

$ 2 tacos after a Sounders game is always a good idea, and thankfully, Taco Gol is there to satiate my cheap-taco needs! Good meat, good flavor, delicious, and cheap! Great little taco truck! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!

I love this place. I would go two or three times a week to get 4 tacos for 4 or 5 dollars. The have a field roast option for vegetarians too. Perfect lunch with great salsa and a roasted pepper on top. Just changed jobs and I don’t know what I am going to do not having this place nearby.

Super cheap and better than decent, which is not something that you can say about a lot of the other options in the culinary semi-wasteland of this neighborhood. Serviceable little tacos for $ 1, and a pretty fine tamale. Respect.

For $ 3, I can walk from my office to Taco Gol’s cute little truck and emerge with three tacos that taste delicious and fill me up. My faves are the chicken and bbq pork(make sure to grab some hot sauce to go, too, since the tacos are just seasoned meat, onion and cilantro). They take credit card, too — how awesome is that? I haven’t yet tried the burritos but my coworkers go nuts for them. I love food truck with good food and good prices.

Ok so I’m chompin down on the last of the steak tacos as I write this. Today I tried the carnitas, asada and fish tacos. I’ll just start with the fish, as I can still taste it even after eating a hot sauce smothered carnitas taco after it. The fish today was some sort of Kryptonian Cod that was caught in the Gulf of Mexico during the DEFCON1 part of the BP oil spill. No wonder it looked like pork that had been marinated in a mystery redness. Not getting that again. But hey it’s cool because the steak and(actual) pork tacos made up for it. The cow and pig that gave it up for me today were probably somewhat happy during their life. They tasted so, anyway *salutes*. Price is awesome. $ 5 for 5 tacos. Still a bit hungry though. Maybe the tacos should be a side dish for a burrito. Unless it’s the chicken burrito. Seriously that thing is probably illegal. Will go back as it’s just right over there while i’m at work.

You could go to Taco Bell and get a taco made out of Grade F meat or some trademarked abomination, or if you really want some good cheap tacos you could hit up Taco Gol. It’s not my favorite taco truck but it gets 4 stars for value. Tacos are a buck and most burritos are around $ 5 to $ 7. You can get a good sized Mexican Sub filled with meat, cheese, beans, and jalapenos for $ 3. I feel their BBQ pork is the best meat option they have on the menu, as it’s spicy and flavorful and I’m a sucker for BBQ. The other meats I’m not keen on, but I keep coming back for the BBQ pork. They also have flan but flan creeps me out for some reason. I think it’s because the word«custard» sounds gross.

I really really wanted to like Taco Gol. It’s conveniently located across the street from where I work, and as a California-native working in Seattle I constantly want Mexican food. Overall, Taco Gol’s food is bland and their salsas are way too hot with too little flavor. Had their salsas been any good, I could have at least drowned my food in yummy salsa and enjoyed the feeling of eating Mexican… but no. The rice is bland, the beans are bland, the pico de gallo just tastes hot instead of mildly flavorful, and their red and green salsas are disgustingly hot but have no flavor(other than the burn on your tongue… which is good and I like, but doesn’t quality something as a good salsa). I went in the middle of the lunch hour, and was the only person there(a bad sign). To top it all off, their packaging is not to-go friendly. My plate of rice & beans was soggy and bent in half, and my container of pico de galle was just covered with foil so it spilled all over the place. I recommend walking south 5 blocks to the other taco truck, which always has people in line & great salsas at the same price.
