So we almost never eat fast food, but in a pinch ya know… This particular subway is very clean and well organized. The sandwich guy was totally cool, very friendly. He appreciated the fact that we were vegetarians, as he was too. So it’s the first time in a long time where meat wasn’t pushed upon us. It was nice having smiling customer service, I can’t remember a Subway that we’ve ever had that in before. Yay Magnolia Subway

One of the hardest parts of growing a company is the impact franchises can have on your chain. A random person can pay thousands of dollars and then have the right to use your name and who knows how much they will care about your brand… One issue with this location is misleading guests. Subway has a $ 6 simple lunch promo with corporate advertising. This location displays this ad and then places a very small(what looks like 12 point font) addition that makes it $ 6.50. With the signs hanging high on the wall, under lights and the sign being large in size this does not show up. If you are going to change the price, you should make it the same font and size as the rest of the price. Yes, it is only 50 cents and that is so small it really does not matter right… well it is enough to this Subway owner to basically say I do not care about my customers and want to trick them into paying more. The 50 cents may result in higher sales one day but prevent return business so what really is the best value for the company? Treat your clients right and they will return, play games with them and they will bring a sack lunch from home before they return…

I don’t eat here but my kids do. It was surprising when I swung by and ordered sandwiches for my two kids and the staff immediately recognized my order and complemented me on my kids. They weren’t with me… They simply recognized me them from the order. It was good that the associates know customers so well. Thanks.

My husband loves Subway whenever we’re traveling — quick, easy and when you are in a rush, they are easy to find(ubiquitous as Starbucks I suppose). Anyway, we were in Magnolia yesterday and stopped off at the Subway on W. McGraw. Service was friendly and quick. Best part — they made my husband a Sweet Onion sub with spinach vs. lettuce, added jalapeños, banana peppers, chipotle sauce on Italian. OMG, OMG — thats pretty much all he said on the way back to the hotel. Guess we’re going back for round 2 this afternoon. 5-stars for sure! **UPDATE** So we went back a second time. Yup. Did not disappoint. Highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for Subway.

So, it’s a Subway, and it’s exactly what you’d get at any other Subway anywhere. The sandwiches are good and fine. My problem with this one in particular is how cheap they seem to be with their toppings! Black olives, you say? I should not be able to count each individual olive you put on my sandwich. Also, I really shouldn’t have to ask you three times for three times the amount of whatever topping you’ve skimped on. In short, there is no way whatsoever that a foot long sandwich should get 4 black olives(not exaggerating).

Okay I get it, it’s Subway, I shouldn’t be expecting the most amazing service. But for god’s sake, I am so tired of the same women giving me bad service. She is rude literally everytime I go there. Therefore I will no longer be going to this location.

Really RUDE service. May have something to do with drugs? The woman making my sandwich got my bread choice incorrect three times and made it sound like it was my fault… She didn’t give me time to really think about my order before I was ready. Didn’t have all the vegetables in plain sight so I asked what they had and she looked at me like I was stupid and told me to” read the listing” they had on the front of the case!!! I didn’t even see it! She then threw my choices on the bread. very little portions(the smallest 12″ veggie ever). Judging from other reviews I would think the owner would be reading these reviews and make some personnel changes. Wow… and I live in the neighborhood. love Subway as a rule but won’t go in this one again. There are plenty of others ones around Magnolia.

While the quality of sandwiches at this subway location is up to par, the management and customer service are not. After several bad experiences, I finally felt the need to write a review. The woman who I believe to be the owner/manager is highly unprofessional, rude and inappropriate. She barks out sandwich options and leaves you little to no time to make a decision. She asks you to list everything you want on your sandwich, claiming she will be able to remember your selections. However, most of the time my sandwich ends up wrong. If you have a choice between this location and another, choose the latter.

The ingredients all seemed fine, they had spinach leaves, and the location is right in Magnolia Village. However, I had to keep egging the server on to add«lots» of tomato and cucumber slices the way I like it. I’d go there again, though.

Hmmm… normally Sunway can make a decent sub that can get me through lunch. I was horrified by the unprofessional workers at this location. They kept making the sandwiches out of order and blaming each other, even in a joking manner, it was annoying. The sandwhich itself was terrible. It seemed wet, like the lettuce hadn’t been dried. I was pretty disgusted by this location. I’ll never go back to this one. The place was really dirty and laid out in a weird way.

hey — a good sandwich, friendly service and clean premises. the women who work here are a bit on the white trash side, but nice enough nonetheless. the only complaint i have is the veggie patty in my sandwich was nuked to death and was a bit tough as a result. everything else was great.

This is one of the better Subway locations in the area and it definitely beats the one on 15th near Market St by a mile. Most of the employees are super friendly and are good at making sandwiches(which may seem silly to say, but there are plenty of places where I have to say«Lettuce, please. Uh, more lettuce. Just a little more lettuce?» and then repeat with every single veggie I want. There’s one person who does this at this location, but I don’t often have her as my sandwich maker, so it’s okay). The seating at this location is a little awkward, but unless you’re there during the busy 12 – 2 rush, you’ll likely get a place to sit. I like to bring in a copy of the Stranger and sit and eat my sub; it’s a good way to spend the lunch hour. I will say that I come in alllll the time during my lunch hour and they always ask me what I want. You’d think by now they’d know that I at least want a 6″ veggie on wheat. The guy at the Bellingham Subway had my order memorized and when I showed up he would just make the sandwich for me and we’d chat. That was pretty cool… and also a little bit sad now that I think about it…

I recently realized that Subways are in this first decade of the 21st century what McDonald’s were in the ’70’s, ’80’s, and at least some some of the ‘90s. So for that reason alone, having Subway shops almost everywhere – not quite as ubiquitous as Starbuck’s, but getting there – is a good thing. Nestled in Magnolia Village, the relaxed commercial center of Magnolia, this small Subway(franchise?) is often very busy. As a result, the service is efficient if not particularly cheerful. It’s good to know the menu beforehand, as it makes ordering easier. The variety of vegetables, as at all the outlets, is decent. As I recall, McDonald’s, Burger King, etc. were exactly generous with them. A good place to get a fresh submarine sandwich made before you head into Discovery Park. Beats sandwiches you could get at nearby Albertson’s, Thriftway, or further afield, Safeway.
