Stretch and Staple has done a great job on all my canvas prints. I’m a local illustrator and I love their work! My colors and textures turn out amazing and they are a great bunch to work with. I highly recommend them!

I just picked up my second order of canvas prints from Stretch & Staple, and I’m incredibly happy with the results. This latest one was a large landscape portrait of my outdoor, nighttime, wedding on Lake Union (reflections on the water) with the Seattle skyline (lots of lights) in the background and lots of guests. So, as you can imagine, there was a ton of detail in this photo and I was concerned that it wouldn’t turn out as well as I had hoped. Well, I was wrong. It turned out WONDERFULLY. I submitted my order online, and had the option of allowing the kind fellas there to use their professional talents to adjust the light or colors of the original photo if needed. I’m not sure what they did, but it couldn’t have turned out better. I used a Groupon the first time, and returned again because I was so impressed. From now on, I will take all of my business of this kind to Stretch and Staple. Highly recommend!

The customer service I received from Stretch and Staple was second to none. It is so obvious that they care about their customers and what they do.
The picture came in a timely manner and was packaged carefully so that it did not sustain damage during shipping. The quality of the picture is just great, it is so clear and crisp and the colors are incredibly vibrant! This is my first ever canvas print and I could not be more impressed!

Ordered a canvas for my boyfriends birthday. He opened it straight from the shipping box so we saw it together for the first time. The canvas was beautiful, just what I imagined.
The website is easy to use. I would recommend the mirrored side. At first I hadn’t ordered the mirrored and done of my image was cut off in the mock up. I’m happy to say Stretch and Staple staff let me add it on so none of my original image would be cut off.
Tend staff was super friendly and quickly responded to any questions I had. I will use them again for my future canvas needs.

Over a year ago, this team helped my family commemorate the loss of a cherished family member. I showed up with a USB and tears in my eyes. Their team gave us intimate attention, optimized our photos, offered a discount and made sure our order was ready in time for our service. The canvas photos turned out perfect.
On top of it all, they sent flowers to our family to recognize our loss. We could not have been more touched.

I had a great experience with Stretch and Staple. I bought a groupon for a gallery-​wrapped print, and was so excited to discover this store is local and I could just pick it up. The photo turned out to be amazing, and now hangs proudly in my dining room.
Their shop is so adorable, and I love how they have art displayed on the wall for viewing. Both gentleman that were in the shop the day I picked up my print were friendly and helpful. I’ll choose to work with Stretch and Staple again soon! Great exxperience!

This was such a great purchase! Our canvas (36×30″) turned out absolutely beautiful and is extremely high quality. I accidently sent in the wrong image to have enlarged and I was so impressed with the customer service that I received. Not only were they so accommodating as I sent in several other images, but I received feedback about the resolution not being high enough to get a quality print. We received our order quickly and it was in perfect condition! I would highly recommend getting a photo canvas here. Overall, beautiful work and excellent customer service that focuses on our satisfaction!!!

I needed to get my canvas print in a BIG hurry since we are going to use it as our guestbook at our wedding. I contacted the company and was quickly replied to by Taylor. I told him about my time crunch and he assured me that we would get the canvas in time. I ordered the next day and received the canvas over a WEEK before I needed it! If you have ever planned a wedding, you know how stressful last minute details can be and when it comes to shipping it can get very overwhelming. I am very happy with the quality of the print, and blown away at how quickly it arrived. Definitely recommend Stretch and Staple to any of my friends!

I am so happy with the canvas pieces that I have done at Stretch and Staple. First canvas was a gift from a friend (groupon) and I was hooked from then on.
I have done a total of 6 images, and I just placed an order for my 7^th.
I’d like to make a note about the 7^th image. I wanted to do it at 16 X 22″ size. Taylor sent me an email indicated that I would not be pleased with the image blown up that large. That’s cool. But what was even better? He recommended the size that it would turn out the way I wanted. So, he didn’t leave me hanging.

My bf got me a 20×30 of a pic I took a couple weeks back of where we met. He totally surprised me on my birthday with it, and it turned out amazing.
In true form, he had waited till the day before my bday. The guy that helped him was helpful and adjusted the shot a bit, since all he had to go on was what I sent my bf via text.
They turned it around so quickly, and it came out beautifully. We’ll be going there again soon to get some Christmas gifts done!

I had a print done after finding a groupon special. Very satisfied with the outcome, it looks beautiful on my dining room wall. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is just because they are not proactive with communication. You don’t receive acknowledgment of your order being placed, although they did respond quickly when I emailed them. Overall very happy.

Thanks again Taylor and crew! Another job well done… very satisfied… I’m trying to think of other bare walls I can put more canvas prints. They are very polite, professional and honorable… something that I admire!

For my anniversary i wanted to get a print on canvas of where we met. I spoke to several places down here in San Diego, and they were rude and unhelpful. I started looking at living social deals etc and just clicking on any canvas type websites, i ended up on stretch and staple. I was so impressed with the HELP and quick response. Received the canvas way earlier than i imagined and was able to give it to my honey last night and he loved it! Thank you Stretch & Staple, i cant wait to get my next canvas done through you guys!!! Wish i lived closer to meet you guys! Its wonderful to have piece of mind when spending alot of $$$.

I am torn how to rate this. They’re beautiful and lovely, but read on.
I purchased a groupon in December for stretch and staple, and ordered a 22×16 canvas. It was BEAUTIFUL!
I purchased another groupon in June, and also ordered a 22×16. It was done quickly and it was BEAUTIFUL. My only complaint is that the 2^nd one is about an inch wider and an inch taller than my original canvas purchase. despite having ordered the same size. My plan was to have them displayed side by side but now I can’t because the second one is awkwardly slightly bigger than the first. Awkward.

I ordered two canvas from Stretch and Staple. They came out Great! I talked to Taylor. He was very professional and had it done and sent to me in less than two weeks. Wonderful work and with Extremely reasonable prices.

I’m going to start out by saying, I like to give good ratings where ever possible. I do not wish to tarnish anyone’s reputation or negatively affect someone’s livelihood if at all possible. However, I would not do business with Stretch & Staple again. My experience was one big mess.
I uploaded my pics at the end of February, using a Living Social coupon. I never received any kind of confirmation email, or notification that my canvases were done. This worried me, but I’d read from another reviewer that he was fairly happy with his prints, but he’d never received any kind of notification. So I wasn’t expecting much in form of communication.
I needed these canvas photos for my husband’s surprise party. On March 5, two plus weeks after I’d uploaded them I emailed Taylor and this was the response I got–
«Your custom canvas print from Stretch and Staple undergoes a three stage production process that can take up to three weeks. However, we try to produce them in under two whenever possible. It is important to remember this is a custom product, so unlike the majority of items sold online that are sitting in a warehouse waiting to be shipped our prints are handcrafted and made to order which is why they take a little longer to produce. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I assure you our prints are well worth the wait. We will have you finished up later this week or early next week, and at that time we will send you a completion email.»
I then informed him I really, really needed them by that Friday, because I was throwing my husband a surprise party and I was planning to use them as decoration for that. They were prints from our Hawaii trip and I was throwing a Hawaii 5 – 0 party. His next response was very brief, he said «Okay.» So I thought that meant they would get done and I could pick them up. However, I never heard back saying they were done. So I gave up and uploaded the same pictures to Costco to the less impressive poster board method since they’d have them done for me the next day. I got busy and figured I’d pick up the canvas eventually.
Towards the end of March, weeks after this party occurred I finally had some free time to contact him/​pick them up, so I messaged to make sure they were ready for me. I got a response on the 28^th saying this «We are showing that these were printed and picked up. If you didn’t pick them up I am not sure what happened, but we will get new ones done for you ASAP.» Five days later I got a notification that they were done.
So, I’m wondering, what happened to the fact that these things can take up to three weeks to do, or even two? I am sooo not buying that they accidently gave my photos to someone else. I think someone would notice if they didn’t get their own. When I went in finally the other day to pick them up he showed them to me, my name was written on the outside. I don’t think they went to someone else, I think they were never printed in the first place. I am assuming it was Taylor who gave them to me the other day, he was very nice, and had lovely photos on the wall that he’s taken, but a business man he is not. This whole thing was a stressful experience and in the end I was not impressed by my photos, they seemed rather dull and I’ve gotten much better from Costco without the hassle.

You can get your photos printed to canvas at pretty much any photo site these days. But how many of these shops can you actually visit? Stretch and Staple is run out of owner Taylor McAtee’s North Seattle townhome, and is the self-​proclaimed «smallest custom print shop in town.»
I took advantage of a Groupon for a 16“x20″ print for a Christmas present, and was completely happy with the results. The print quality is on par with other enlargements I’ve done elsewhere and the frame is very sturdy compared to others I’ve seen. Most importantly, the recipient of the print was thrilled enough to hang the piece in his office. Sure, my photo had something to do with it, but even a Picasso could look like crap if it’s not presented well. This is not to say that my photography is remotely on par with a Picasso, mind you.
The *only* reason I’m pulling up short of five stars is that the communication from the time you submit your order until it’s fulfilled could be a little better. I get that everything is done by hand, and production times are going fluctuate, especially around the holidays. Taylor was very responsive via phone and email when I had questions about the file before I ordered, and again when I checked the status of my order. Unfortunately the timing of the Groupon eligibility period pushed my job production beyond Christmas, which would have been nice to know when I initially placed the order, but in the end everyone was happy as noted above.
In addition to the standard print sizes and finishes available on the website, Taylor does custom work — just give him a call or shoot him an email. The Groupon made an already affordable product even more so, and I will definitely be back for other prints for gifts or my own home.
