If you’re a local, this is a spot you need to try at least once. Patrick is a masterful baker with a wide range of treats(and a nice range of sizes, if you’re looking for a with-coffee nibble or you’ve got little ones). His cheesecake is to die for, try the mango– yes, I know the raspberry is pretty. Try the mango afterwards then :) Warm and friendly environment, even the customer base is a cool group. Nice place to meet locals if you’re new, too. And they have a spicy, complex chai for the adventurous.

OK, if I could give Patrick 10 stars I would. He bakes with such love and joy — you taste it in every bite! We have tried I think everything in there and have yet to try something we didn’t like. Indeed, when he decides to go on vacation we try to stock up. He takes special orders as well and really hits it out of the park. It is just such a warm, cozy, and fun bakery and it’s all Patrick.

Delicious food, beautiful view and good menu. Only bad thing is that our waitress didn’t know the menu. We asked about a side of fruit that it said on the menu and she said she didn’t think there was… We asked her to check and we’re right. Other than that, it was great!

I have to agree with everyone — this place is awesome. This mechanic shop-turned-bakery is ideal for sunny days when you can buy a pastry and sit out on the patio or the grass. Or if it’s rainy, the bakery becomes a cozy haven. My favorites are the passionfruit shortbread — slightly tart glaze on a buttery cookie — and the coconut cookie. If I bring my kids, though, they insist on the chocolate chip cookie which is huge enough for three of us to share(with leftovers!). Patrick and his crew are always very warm and welcoming, too. I love this place!

Another baker/owner living the dream, Patrick at Stone House Bakery epitomizes this. What a genuinely warm and welcoming individual! Baking with lots of love. Wish I could transport this formula to Shoreline!

This is the cutest little bakery in town with some of the BEST pastries & baked goods I’ve ever had. Where do I begin? The little bakery is on the side of the Stonehouse café, it has its own entrance, a warm, welcoming one too. Pastries are baked fresh EVERYSINGLEMORNING. Can’t get any fresher than that, and let me tell you, you can taste the freshness in everything. We had samplings of a variety of the goodies… Here’s the reviews(and im warning you, everything new we tried we had the«omg this is DELICIOUS!!» kind of reaction…) 1. Passion fruit shortbread cookies — they’re glazed with a light passion fruit glaze made from FRESH passion fruit. Self explanatory, awesome. And the passion fruit is very subtle, not overpowering. 2. Mango cheesecake — topped with chunks of mango. Yum. Cheesecake was not too rich, the crust was really good, a good kind of burnt flavor that went perfectly with the richness of the cheesecake 3. Ham, egg and guyere cheese puff — OMG. Buttery, flaky, savory deliciousness all in one bite. Sooooo good, it’s a meal in itself(we shared one for breakfast) 4. Chocolate macadamia nut cookie — STRAIGHT outta the oven, enough said, we were in heaven! Chunks of macadamia nuts and lots of chocolate chips! P. S. The cookie was the size of my head! No messing around here, this was a serious cookie! 5. Chocolate almond croissant — this thing was huge! Covered with chocolate chips, flaky as can be and it was cut in half and FILLED with almond paste and chocolate… Yum!!! 6. Mama’s coconut cookie — we had this the next day, one bite and i was back in heaven. Chewy, full of coconut deliciousness… This cookie reminded me that I NEEDED to write this review, it was that damn good! Bottom line, if you’re anywhere near Renton, you gotta stop by this little gem and get yourself some goodies! Custom orders are taken too!

I eat sweets. A lot. Cake, cookies, pie, pastries, you name it. I was even a baker for five years so, I like to think I have experience with sweets. All Patrick’s baked goods are of high quality and carry a uniqueness that sets them apart from ordinary. I was lucky to sample the Macmallow. Macadamia, coconut and marshmallow. There is nothing like it. It was unexpectedly delicious and different. Be warned. It, along with everything else there, is really good. Patrick is super nice, and the building itself is worth a look on its own.

Patrick makes the best cherry pie. Love the crust & cherry ratio. Love everything he bakes. Glad I live close to his bakery. You never know what extra dessert he will have on hand but you can’t go wrong with what he has

This is a great bakery just next to the café with the same name. We’ve had the cinnamon roll, almond croissant, and regular croissant. All were very good. We saw that they have pies in the fridge and can’t wait to go back and try those. The owner/pastry chef Patrick is super friendly and appreciates feedback. I wish they would also serve espresso which I understand is coming soon.

We moved to Rainier Beach within a week of this bakery opening, and we’ve been visiting at least once a week ever since. Patrick, the owner/baker, is warm and makes a real effort to build community around his bakery. I’m looking forward to continuing to visit for years to come :) My absolute favorite is the almond croissant. I’ve never had a more delicious almond croissant in my life! My husband loves the breakfast puffs. The cookies are amazing too!

We visited this bakery on the first day it was opened and was greeted by the baker/owner Patrick Choy. We took home a mango cheesecake and a sampling of the various pastries he had on hand. All were delicious! We’ve since visited the bakery again and was surprised to see he changed up the pastries he made which is a welcome change from most bake shops because we like variety. Carted home another box of goodies to share with family and friends. Made a few suggestions :-) because we’re from Hawaii and would love to see some«local» favorites like long johns and cocoa puffs. It’s a small shop but that’s what we like about it. Would definitely recommend to stop by and check out his pastries!
