The most wonderful Starbucks shop! 40th floor in downtown – Columbia Center! The view is really amazing, more beautiful than I imaged. We spend about two hours sitting and chatting. The Green Tea Latte still my favorite ~~

This is probably my favorite Starbucks in Seattle. Not only is the view spectacular, but the service is great and the baristas go out of their way to ensure a great environment and great food/drinks. Perfect place to meet a friend, hang out and work for a little while, or just sit and sip.

Stretching my legs after flying to Seattle from Buffalo today. Since I gained 3 hours, why not get a coffee buzz going? This place is worth the trip. A 40th floor Starbucks, with windows on two sides of the building. Not your average café vista. I posted a pic of downtown with Puget Sound in view. Oh yeah, and my cappuccino! That was exactly as ordered. This gets the 5 star treatment for the experience. A no fee opportunity to see as far as your eyes and imagination allows.

Writing this review as I’m sitting in Starbucks right now… Came in and wanted an Iced Caramel Macchiato but we wanted the ice to be blended… They did it for us @ the Tacoma Mall location but according to Angelique(working here @ the Columbia Tower location) «it’s not possible» & it’s just«not a drink» & suggested that we just get a frappé. Whether they’re the same thing or not is something I don’t know because we don’t frequent Starbucks. She had such a condescending tone & just ruined my experience so I cancelled my order even though the cashier later insisted that they could«do it» & they«knew» what I was talking about.

Wow! I could’t believe it when my dear friend Debra told me about this view! I just had to see for myself! I woke up early to make a day out of it and took the elevator straight to the 40th floor. The elevator ride itself was nice, clean and went by very quickly. Once I arrived I just couldn’t believe it! A beautiful view! The Starbucks was pretty good and I got an ice tea lemonade which the barista made wonderfully! They did not bother me and never said anything about my length of stay. I arrived at 7am and did not leave until 7 pm because it was that beautiful of a view! My kids really enjoyed it too! But probably just because I let them skip class to come lol. I would recommend it to a friend and tell them to bring all of their family!

This Starbucks was a nice getaway on a Tuesday afternoon when you are taking a little time off from the office. Coffee was great. The view was even better. I recommend it for everyone that is trying to get re-energized after lunch in order to finish their day. You get away and just sit looking at this beautiful view of Seattle downtown. Great atmosphere, quite and relaxing. I wish I could do this every day. So peaceful and enjoyable. People seemed happy there too which is great once in a while.

This may be the best Starbucks view in the United States. It’s also a comfortable shop with efficient employees and all your Starbucks favorites. Honestly, I don’t like giving chain stores 5 stars but how do you beat an almost free high rise view? There were pleasant folk tunes playing on my visit. Going to stay? Request your beverages«for here.»

Recieved a metal cup for Christmas it looks pretty but is made so cheap. The cup scratches so easy on the 1st use. Wrote to starbucks and the person that wrote back had no positive answers. I took the reply to be a little condescending too. Charge a lot for a cup poorly made!

It’s a little hard to find but once you’re in the lobby, take the Express elevator to the 40th Floor and look for the Starbucks logo next to the«Conference Center» sign. It seats about 40 comfortably. I am here at 654am and it’s still dark outside but I imagine on a nice day the view must be splendid. PS: To further confuse things, there’s a large Starbucks right in the lobby of this edifice, which is Seattle’s tallest building. I rated it 4 stars because of the unique location even though there are more iconic(I.e., the original Starbucks by Pike Market”) and much nicer(e.g., the Starbucks Roastery & Tasting Room on Pike St) in Seattle. If you’re a coffee nut like me, this town is Nirvana. Enjoy!

Typical Starbucks BUT with a view. This location is on the 40th floor of a 75 story sky scraper. This is the poor-man’s observation deck(on Fl73, which charges $ 15/person).

Unbeknownst to many — apparently to numerous Seattleites as well — there is a Starbucks In The Sky with amazing views in the tallest building in Seattle, the Columbia Center. We had to see for ourselves. It’s true! There is a Starbucks outlet on the Columbia Center’s 40th floor, open to the public, with wonderful views of downtown Seattle. Wonderful FREE views(or least for the cost of a cup of coffee). The best views are in the window seats of course, which are in high demand. These are tables for two, maybe three with an extra chair. Unfortunately there were four in our party — but we still snuck over occasionally to look 40 floors straight down. And even from the middle of the room, the view is still pretty great. It was raining when we were there(surprise, surprise) but I imagine the distant views are even better on a clear day. Only one negative: no bathroom. I guess it’s assumed most visitors are Columbia office workers. There are bathrooms in the food court on the lower level. Great coffee with a great view — five stars!

It is a starbucks with an amazing view. It has been on my college bucket list to visit this particular branch of Starbucks and I am glad that I did!

It’s a Starbucks… with a great view. This Starbucks isn’t getting 5 stars for the service, or the coffee, it’s getting 5 stars because of the view! This Starbucks is located on the 40th floor of the Columbus Center, and provides great views of the city skyline. It’s one of the cheapest ways to enjoy a great view of the iconic Seattle skyline!

The best thing about this Starbucks, in a city with more coffee houses than possibly anywhere else on earth… is the location. Getting here requires taking the express elevator to the 40th floor of the tallest building in Seattle. The view is, as you might expect, pretty damned amazing! Not that the coffee or the service were at all disagreeable, they’re not. Nor is the food. We recommend the Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar and Egg. Only 50 cents more than a take and nuke with the same ingredients from 7-Eleven but… Well, don’t take my word for it, GETYOUONE!

This location gets 4 star only because of the amazing view. So unique. It’s located on the 40th floor of the Columbia Tower. Coffee, unfortunately, is the same as other Starbucks locations. Burnt.

A unique Starbucks on the 40th floor with grand vistas of downtown Seattle facing northwest, north and northeast. Viewing is limited but it’s free access or at the cost of a latte. Take the express elevator to 40th floor, the only stop!

My favorite Starbucks in Seattle to enjoy an early cup. The views from the 40th floor are great. Shana makes a perfect mocha! 16 tables with seats, a couch, six comfy chairs, and a bar that seats a couple people with tall wood chairs.

The tallest building in Seattle is the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. There is an elevator here that takes you up to the 40th floor(of 76) in which you find this Starbucks located. There is no cost to take the elevator up to this level. Though there is one if you do decide to go all the way up to the top. There are nicer Starbucks locations than this one which feels like a coffee shop in a business building(which it is), but the view more than makes up for this. Here you will find a sweet view of the skyscrapers downtown as well as a view eastward in which you can see I-5 and First Hill. While the coffee shop almost feels secondary to the views found here, this is actually a really good Starbucks. I saw baristas calling regulars(assumedly office workers in the building) by their first names. While not the most decked out coffee shop, it felt comfortable and relaxing spending a couple hours here working. It is welcoming to business types and tourists alike. While the«1st Starbucks» location at Pike Place Market draws large crowds, I think visiting this Starbucks is worthwhile as well. The view is not as good as the Space Needle, but it definitely offers a nice supplemental view of parts of downtown that you wouldn’t be able to catch at the Needle. As well as a different shot perspective compared to what you would see at the top of Columbia Center.

If you don’t want to pay to go all the way to the top the Columbia Center, this is a great location to go. The barista here was so nice, and remembered my name when I went back for refills(3x). You’ll see a lot of business suits & tourists in this roomy starbucks, but I love how everyone respects this space and keeps it relatively quiet and calm. This is a great place to relax and chill over a cup of coffee and a downtown view.
