Came here at 7:00 pm, so near close but a good hour and a half before. The person working was unfriendly, forgot part of the order, and made 2 of the 3 drinks wrong. Both the strawberry frappé and chai latte we ordered tasted terrible– like water with a little flavor. We will not be visiting this Starbucks again.

As far as Starbucks branches in Seattle that I have visited, I would rank this one SB23. The difference between this location and SB24, on Lake City and 120th, is only slight. In terms of accessibility, both are on state highways, both have fairly accessible, large parking lots, and both have drive-throughs. The interiors are relatively similar as well both are larger than average with sufficient seating options for both large groups and individuals. The difference, as I so often find, is the service. I have never had a bad experience with the staff of SB23. They have always been prompt but not rushed, friendly but not too familiar, and happy but not complacent. This places the aurora Starbucks just a hair above the lake city location, which has a culture of laziness. Of course, SB23 falls far behind SB22, which very nearly enters into the elite echelon of the upper 20. I refer, of course, to the Barnes and Noble location at the Northgate mall. If it weren’t for the aimless nature of the interior design and the cocky, but ultimately inept service, this location could easily make the top 15 due to its convenient bookstore locale and intellectual vibe. Despite its faults, SB22 is clearly superior to SB23. However, if you’re looking for a middle of the road Starbucks and you’re in the neighborhood, SB23 is a fine choice.

I rarely post reviews, but this place is horrible. They make my drink wrong every time. Not nice people. This is the Starbucks that is closest to my house and I now will drive out of my way just to avoid this one. Very disappointing, rude, disrespectful staff.

This is the most unfriendly Starbucks EVER! I would give one star but the coffee tasted fine so I will go with two stars. I walked in around 240pm on a Thursday and they weren’t busy. The baristas just looked at me. Didn’t even say hello. I thought ok… I ordered my coffee and the person didn’t even thank me, and seemed preoccupied. I said to myself«No Tip!» When I picked my latte up I thanked the two baristas and they didn’t even thank me back. I thought WOW. This place takes the cake as the unfriendliest Starbucks EVER! I get it people have bad days. Maybe they just had a bad customer or situation. But this Starbucks is in a bad location, the Women’s bathroom sign was even gone(I figured it out as the Men’s was still there). They should turn those frowns upside down as this customer will NEVER be back to this crummy Starbucks.

Getting into the parking lot or drive thru is a challenge as it is so tight in space. If it’s during the morning rush, it might take you some time to go into the area. The people coming out of the drive thru and the apartments next door adds more congestion to people going in or out of the area. It takes a small part of the building but has enough seating. Staff are very attentive to restocking supplies and cleaning up spills.

I’ve only ever used the drive– through but the service is always friendly and they get my drink right. It’s a bit tight getting in and out of the parking lot but I am a fan of the drive-through!

Stopped by the drive-thru here with my sister really quick because it’s one the closest ones by her place. We were the first car and I ordered an ice tall vanilla latte and an iced tall caramel macchiato. When I pulled up, the barista immediately told me the grand total and I gave her my card. She looked liked she was in a hurry and gave me the card and our two drinks. As soon as I leave, I grab my drink and can already feel the weight of my drink to be super lighter than usual. The whip cream completely filled up my cup and my drink tasted very milky. In addition, my sister’s caramel macchiato was not even close to being filled to to the top, like they ran out of it. And it very much, tasted milky. I love Starbucks and I was SO disappointed about this. If I had the time, I would have loved to go back and ask them to re-make our drinks but it was not the best time at that moment to do it. Womp. Womp.

I had a relatively poor experience at this location but Starbucks corporate rocks! They listened to my complaint and definitely made up for it. I’m a big Starbucks fan… Consistent, reliable, and attentive.

One of the best Starbucks I have been to in 18 years. Friendly and helpful morning staff. Most of the time the baristas already know what I like as my usual order. I like that. And they seem to do that very well with other regulars too. only thing I wish is that they brought back scones and that they refilled the half n half more regularly. its usually empty or almost empty when I get to it.

The parking lot is crazy tight, with some inclines here and there. There aren’t a lot of parking spaces either, and often the lot is full. There is a drive-thru though, and I often end up using that. Once inside, the place is alright, with tables throughout that are fairly comfy. The staff is nice and mostly competent.

This Starbucks is pretty much always packed, but they are fast and very friendly I like to come here a lot and the drive-thru doesn’t really take longer than 5 mins…

I’ll stop here now and again for a takeaway soy latte. I’ve only used the drive-through and experienced friendly SBUX employees. I’ve had good drinks here and I’ve had mediocre ones. I’ll usually go to other places nearby but sometimes needs must and I end up here. Be careful when you enter/exit the parking lot. It’s an awkward turn and folks usually aren’t paying attention when they are going the opposite way. Also, you will be facing the people across the way waiting in the Burger King queue which is a little weird as you inch forward in your cars.

I don’t review Starbucks very often unless it represents a unique experience. This has been my neighborhood store for years. As of my last visit, I will not be returning. Over the years, just when I think I can’t have a worse experience, I am proven wrong. I’ve been here at all hours of the day and while it can get busy, I’m often there when there is low traffic which makes the service I have received inexcusable. The space is very nice and roomy. In fact, when I was there the other day, about a dozen people were set up with their laptops, plugged in, and hanging out. The available products are as you would find in any other Starbucks in the Seattle area. The service is unacceptable and I believe is a real disservice to the Starbucks brand. In general, there is usually only one person in line ahead of me(if that) and a car or two outside. The wait times have always been slow but earlier this week, it was downright ridiculous. There was NOONE in line ahead of me. I placed my order — a relatively straightforward soy latte. I waited. I began to think they forgot my order so as someone came in behind me a few minutes later, I went to stand where the drinks are served. The man behind me ordered his coffee and I saw two cars in the drive-thru line(I could view the monitor clearly from where I was standing). I waited and waited and waited. ALL of those customers received their orders BEFORE me. The barista was clearly aware I was waiting as she told me AFTER serving everyone else that my soy latte would be right up. She got right on making my latte, right after chatting it up with another Starbucks employee about something so fundamentally important(it wasn’t because I heard the conversation) that it could not wait until after my coffee was made. Again, I have been receiving this type of service for years and it is the norm. I won’t be back. However, I did contact Starbucks corporate and they responded very well in terms of acknowledging my experience and providing me a credit to my gold card. I appreciated their efforts to resolve the issue. What I appreciated most, is that they respected my decision to not return to that store and told me where other stores were located. I already knew where the other locations were but I like that they didn’t try to talk me into coming back.

Not a bad location, the drive through however is so tiny. I feel like I am going to damage my car whenever I go through. I ordered the oatmeal, and they added way too much water though. I let it seep longer then they suggested and it was still soupy.

This Starbucks is smack dab in a high volume fast traffic, go here, go there fast fast zone of Seattle. I honor with great humility an dappreciation those who work here. They’ve probably seen it all. Typical excellent Starbucks coffee selection. Changing clientele, its like a movie wiht a few camping out in chairs to watch Aurora pass by. Take a breather. Stop, drop and Starbucks.

It’s Starbucks! I love this one, everyone is friendly and ordering is easy. And who doesn’t like a snickers frap off the secret menu or a good ol’ cup o’ jo… EVERYDAY! :))

I’ve been here twice. The first time we went in and there were about 5 people total. It took about 10 min. To get our drinks. That’s fine. Second time I went through drive thru. I understand waiting in line, but when you’re chatting up the guy in the truck in front of me for 3 minutes AFTER you gave him his order and there’s five cars behind me, I have a problem with that. Then, they give me the wrong FOO-KING order. So I turn around, go back to the store, wait in line ANOTHER ten minutes inside and finally just demand my money back, because not only are they incompetent, they’re slow, so I would have waited ANOTHER ten minutes getting a new drink and god knows if that one would have been right. This isn’t the first time Starbucks has failed hoardes of customers. Just read the reviews. Needless to say, I’m buying REAL local coffee next time.

We all do it. There are a million better, local-er places around, but once in a while, we all end up at a Starbucks. I don’t know why I’m bothering to review one, but I’ll keep it brief. The parking lot here is an utter pain in the ass. It’s tiny and shaped in a way that makes it difficult to get in and out of a space, in the unlikely event that you find a space. When you ARE ready to leave, better hope you’re going south! Because, guess what, you are going south! Another con: this is not one of the«good» areas on Aurora that people talk about, and the business itself is wedged between a bunch of other unpleasant businesses, and let’s face it – you are likely to be either panhandled, or propositioned for sex by an industrial-strength prostitute. I’m not saying you’re in any physical danger, but I’ve seen more attractive locations for a business IN A BUCKETOFCHICKEN! What. On the upside, I’ve noticed the employees of this location are extra chipper and pleasant to deal with. Seems like some other reviewers have had the opposite experience, but hey, here — have some balance. There you have it, my useful, three-star review of Starbucks Coffee. Now you can make an informed decision about whether to visit this location!
