I may be generous with my ratings, but giving this SB props as it’s right in the middle of crazy Westlake district and always has tons of people traffic going through. Somehow the the staff manages to keep this SB with good coffee and clean all the time, that I don’t know how they do it. Never been unhappy here. Large SB, and a lot of seating for folks who need to use their laptops. Think the other reviewer got this SB confused w/another, as there are 2 smaller ones just within 2 blocks. Does attract some bums occasionally. Good thing their Baristas keep the bathroom clean — which btw, TIP: you need to ask for the code every time. They change it at least 2−4x’s a day for that reason.

This location is ok. The store itself is extremely small, basically a grab-and-go place. The baristas are friendly, but not quite as friendly as the City Centre location. My drink was made quickly and correctly, so that’s what counts in my book.

Nice baristas, quick wait times, and my drink is always right. The store is very tiny though, so if it gets packed and your claustrophobic, maybe walk two seconds down the street and go to another Starbucks.

I looked at the pictures that other people have posted of this location but I do not think they are correct. This location is right across from Nordstrom on pine st. This has to be the smallest Starbucks location that I have ever been to. The service was okay. The beverage came out correct so that’s what matters the most. Just another mediocre Starbucks!

This Starbucks takes me back to being in Manhattan or Chicago — a fast and efficient Starbucks, no frills. No waiting in line for 10 minutes while the barista catches up with her regulars. No blank stares when I request custom drinks. Although I’m not a big fan of Starbucks coffee itself(only get the Hazelnut Latte as the syrup masks the taste of the over-roasted coffee) I like how things work at this one.

I can’t speak for the older reviews on this page, but it seems they may be doing something differently nowadays. I’m impressed. One of the friendliest Starbucks locations I’ve been to. Haven’t met a barista there that I dislike. Granted, I don’t think any of Starbucks’ drinks are knock-your-socks-off fantastic, but for what it is, this location’s good.

I started going to the Starbucks a couple blocks away, the one across Westlake Mall. I went here for a couple weeks, and the barista’s just didn’t seem like they wanted to be at work so early in the morning. The other location got my name down and one of my usual drinks the first couple days I went there. I’m gonna go with 2 stars at this location exactly because how Unilocal defines it: Meh. I’ve experienced better.

At least 3 times a week I find myself rushing in the morning to get my Grande Soy Caramel Macchiato from this particular location, before heading into the office. I love this Starbucks… Although this location can get busy being centrally located among the hustle and bustle of Seattle’s busier shopping and business area, this Starbucks has a way of keeping up with the demand extremely well. Part of it’s success has a lot to do with a particular employee, Travis. Travis rocks. Travis is a godsend. Travis needs to get Starbucks’ Barista of the year or else I might cry. It took but just a couple of visits in having Travis take my order before I started walking in and my drink was ready on the bar before I was even finished paying. He’s on top of his game with customers and I appreciate Travis heaps and mounds. He is the reason why even though this isn’t always the nearest Starbucks to me, I’ll go out of my way to get myself here since the service I get is unbeatable. Thank you Pine Street Starbucks and thank you, Travis. I really appreciate your help in making my days a little bit easier :)

The best coffee, the best staff, the best service of any Starbucks in downtown Seattle.

The manager here is pretty awesome, the staff is ok. I agree with Michelle, the service is definitely inconsistent but its better than the other starbucks in the area. So as long as 7am shifts exist I will be hurr.

Not one Starbucks in Seattle is deserving of 5 Stars. This one is not bad but they just take so bleeding long to make drinks. Even when not busy ordering two beverages at 11AM should not be a 15min task. I think I have been to nearly every SBux in downtown favorite is gonna have to be the Westlake one.

The service at this Starbucks is hit or miss. Sometimes I go here and it’s «knock your socks off» fantastic, and other times it will be 6:58am and they won’t let you in because they open at 7am.(Even though there are other non-starbucks people inside and all the other Starbucks are open). It’s inconsistent, but it’s still my go-to Starbucks when I’m downtown.

I love this Starbucks. Been here twice and baristas have been awesome. Friendly, like they know me. Coffee refill = no problem. Shaken iced tea refill = no problem. While waiting, my drink was called and someone grabbed it. Which was kinda funny and surprising at the same time, as my drink was a little unique. Now just a plain mocha, I can understand. But why this person wanted my iced grande, two Splenda green tea is beyond me. Anyway, I let the barista know and she immediately made me a second one. We laughed about the weirdo who took my tea. Like so many, it gets busy, so if you’re planning on hanging around you might have to stalk for a table.

Popped in here for a quick drink before the elite event and my mocha wasn’t stirred… Yuck. Good thing there are a lot of Starbucks around here, maybe I’ll try another one. Better yet, I might just have to hit up Vivace. On the bright side, the employees were very up beat and delightful to be around!

If I had to choose a «favorite» Starbucks, this would be it. They are masters of getting me in and out with enough time to make my bus connection, as well as suggesting a drink based on my mood. It was at this location that on one faithful day I was introduced to the Green Tea Latte that would later become my standby [however, now that same latte is a «soy double matcha unsweetened green tea latte,» — whatever.] I’ve been here as early as 5:30am and as late as 10:30pm and had consistently helpful service. This is one of maybe only two *$ locations that has never had to give me a «sorry, here’s a free drink coupon,» and never left me feeling as though I should be offered one. This is how I believe every Starbucks location should be. Truly efficient. (PS: I don’t drink coffee so my opinion on that matter is null and void)

It was a rainy Friday night and we were waiting for a friend. This particular Starbucks was was filled with a few really loud high schoolers, one gal that was on her laptop, and two guys that were sitting there with their phones waiting for something. We wanted to get out of the rain and sit down, though, so we came in. The barista was kind of overly helpful, but that was just my perspective on it at the time. She was just trying to engage me to figure out what I want to order and I was just feeling a little overwhelmed. What she was doing was actually a GOOD thing. No matter. I got some tea. We found some spots to sit down. I plugged my phone into the floor outlet because it had less than 20% of its battery remaining. The tea had 2 tea-bags and quickly became very strong… but thankfully we caught it almost in time so it was still drinkable. It was convenient, though, and… yeah. One star for a convenient location that kept us dry and gave us a place to sit, one start for a place to «plug in,» and one star for some customer service that was actually quite good.
