called to make a new patient appointment (with insurance) and get an annual physical — was told I’d need to pay a $ 1200 membership fee (out of pocket, not billed to insurance) to join the «club» without even meeting the doctor first. Silly woman who answered the phone was unable to explain what the fee was for or why. Apparently, everyone knows what a «lifestyle doctor» is.

Very knowledgeable and patient oriented group. Dr. Speck and Dan Tripp both helped me greatly with recommended adjustments to my diet, lifestyle and training. I highly recommend this clinic for both athletes and those wanting top cardiac care and advice.

Dr. Speck is a doctor in the truest sense of the word. The time she took with me to get to know me as person enabled her to prescribe the correct direction I should be going with my health care. Her expertise is humbling yet put me immediately at ease. A doctor who will talk to you as a person and actually listen to you as well! I can’t say enough about what a great Doctor she is.

Dr. Speck has a preventative approach to good heart health, which is what I was looking for in a cardiologist, knowing I have intense family history of cardiovascular disease. Her approach is not to rely on meds as a bandaid to fix things (prescribes them carefully if needed but not the first line of attack), and she has very specific protocol on how to approach what needs to be fixed, based upon specific test results. In the exam room, she is very thorough, is an excellent listener, spends time getting to know you as an individual and your lifestyle habits (yes, real time with real discussions). In this scary area of heart health, Dr. Speck puts me at ease knowing I am in excellence hands.

you are having struggles. If every MD /​caregiver group had this approach staying healthy would be anxiety free and a positive experience
