Emily at Spa Marie is awesome. Whether you are seeing her for a facial or sugaring, Emily is professional and also a warm & friendly practitioner who is sure to make your experience a comfortable and pleasant one. I’ve been very happy with my experiences at Spa Marie, and would recommend her to all of my friends.

I moved to Seatle in August and began the hunt for a sugarist. I was on a regular schedule in my previous city so I had to pick someone quickly. I found SpaMarie based on reviews on location. I was definitely apprehensive but from the start — Emily was amazing. I really lucked out! My very first appt. I ended up having to cancel literally at the last minute and Emily was totally fantastic about it and got me rebooked.
As everyone knows, bikini/​brazillians are definitely not fun but Emily a pro. She asks questions, makes sure you are comfortable, adjusts the pace if you need and is meticulous. She does a great job. I’m on my 6^th month with her now and couldn’t be more pleased.
She is also a skin care guru. I’ve added facials on my last few visits just to try it out as my skin isn’t loving the weather here. My skin feels great for days after a facial with Emily. Again, she ask questions, looks carefully at my skin — and best of all has never pushed products on me.
Aside from her technical skills, she is just super easy-​going, has a great way of making you comfortable and not at all prententious.

Recently had my second facial with Emily at Spa Marie, after having my first back in April while vacationing in Seattle. Much to my surprise, she had taken notes on what products I was using and the problem areas on my skin after my first visit and was able to compare them to how my skin was doing now. I came to her desperate for help with rebalancing my skin (I literally said «I need help.»), and the results were fantastic. I love how personal her business is and she is truly talented. Will always try to visit Emily any time I come back to Seattle!

I love Spa Marie. Emily is so incredibly helpful and is never pushy. There are some beauty practitioners who are over the top when it comes to selling their products and I have never had that experience here. She is painstakingly conscientious and professional. I can’t recommend her enough.

What can I say… I am hooked. Emily is fantastic. She really took the time to get to know my skin and all of its idiosyncrasies. She was quick yet thorough and helped me figure out what the best regimen is for me to keep up in between visits.
I have an appointment next week to be «sugared» so I will update my review after!

I went to Spa Marie based on Unilocal reviews, and I’m so glad I did. Emily’s prices are very reasonable, especially for being in Fremont. But more importantly, she really cares about you and your skin’s needs — more than making a quick buck. She gave me generous samples of some products to try and did not pressure me to buy any products.
Emily is meticulous with bikini sugaring. She also gave me a bridal facial that made my skin look wonderful without irritating it right before my wedding.
I will continue to visit Emily — next time for a more intensive facial.

I went to Spa Marie for *that* kind of sugaring, and Emily did a fantastic job. I have only been sugared previously at one of the well-​known and very pricey locations and it’s always been hard to book an appt with the person I liked, so I gave Spa Marie a try after a referral.
The service I got was outstanding: she was very detail-​oriented, fun to talk to, and I was very happy with the outcome, she did a better job in roughly the same amount of time as where I had gone previously. Plus, it was much more economical than the other place. Her space is very comfortable, private, and clean.
I plan to come back and get some more services done, especially since her prices are well within my budget!!!

The best facial I have ever had in Seattle! Excited for the new location.
