I agree with the first reviewer… I also wanted to love this place, but I have yet to experience!!! Everytime I stop by on the weekends(day and night), weekday late morning and noon it is closed. No business hours posted only the daily specials. I am a huge boba tea and coffee fan, but my repeated visits are leaving me frusterated. I am also a lover of unique, cute and small business owner establishments, but these experiences are leaving me sour. OWNERS: Please post your business hours, your website so I can know when you are open. It will save your customers and bring in more!!! Location is very convenient. On the new light rail line and bus line #42. Its situated in a cute converted victorian red house and reminds me of my favorite boba tea house in downtown san jose. Hopefully, I will have a re-review on this place soon!

Slush and Hush has been a bust. I really wanted to like this spot, a lot. The owner of the building took a nasty crack and whore house and made it into the Slush and Hush house(and a couple of other businesses in the building). The baristas I’ve met are nice and their bubble tea and espresso drinks are OK too. The place looks quite nice on the inside and has a very bright and airy feel to it. Almost like being in a home, which I think it was in the past. Here’s my problem with the spot… Their hours don’t necessarily apply. I’ve stopped by there on two consecutive Saturdays in which they were closed 2 to 3 hours before they were supposed too. I mentioned it to one of the baristas the next day and got a big Meh response back. NOTETOOWNERSOFNEWBUSINESSES: If you post hours of operation for your business… operate during the hours you post. Pretty simple. We as consumers have this tendency of showing up at your place of business during the hours you post up on your sign. When we show up and you’re not open… we tend to walk away a bit miffed. If you can’t staff your business… change the hours. Please. It can be kind of a pain in the butt to get to their spot if you are coming northbound on MLK due to the light rail being in the way. I’d just like to know that if I’m making the effort to patronize your business you’d be kind enough to be open when you say you will be. I’ll give them one more shot on an upcoming Saturday(they’re closed on Sunday) but if I get the closed early thing one more time than I’ll patronize them as much as I did the crack whores…
