Donna Jean is an amazing hairstylist! I have trusted my locks to her for eight years and am consistently blown away by her attention to detail, the beautiful color, the way the cut is so precise and grows out beautifully. I often get asked who does my hair and complimented by total strangers. Donna Jean makes you feel like the most important person in the world and takes care of you like no other. It’s been just a hair (no pun intended) shy of three years since I reviewed the salon where our stylist of choice rents a chair. (BaBaLouise).
. In fact, up to now, it hadn’t dawned on me that some of the stylists rent chairs there and are their own bosses. My first stylist of choice left early on to bear offspring and is these days, working at a different salon altogether. However, before she left, she told me I would be in the capable hands of her friend, Donna Jean Svatik, hairstylist extraordinaire to my beloved wife and me. After Donna of Sleepy Ruby Hairstyling kept my wife’s and my do looking absolutely fab-​u-​lous, we kept her on as our personal stylist. But it wasn’t just the magic she does to our dos that won us over, it was little but important things. Things like, she is genuinely down to earth and has a friendly and caring spirit, she is intelligent and funny, she talks about interesting things and well, she is just plain easy to be around. And so it ends up that after 2 ½ years of stellar hairstyling and great conversation, our appointments with Donna are now more like we are enjoying having a friend we haven’t seen in a month cut, dye and style our hair while we visit her. What more could you ask for in a stylist? Donna, you’re the greatest!
