Had an amazing steak at Six Seven — as good as it gets. Very memorable experience, great food and a very beautiful place/views. Loved it.

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. We elected to wait a few minutes in order to sit by the water and it was well worth our time. We enjoyed the filet mignon as well as the cedar planked salmon and both were delicious. We had mentioned it was our anniversary and we got a dessert in celebration. The staff were attentive and friendly and the view was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I visited Seattle with my boyfriend who was vacationing from France. We are both lovers of high quality seafood and I wanted to provide us with an elegant and romantic environment for our first weekend back together after two months of separation. I did a lot of research and Six-Seven seemed like the perfect choice. With Open Table, I easily booked a table online for sunset on a Friday at 630pm. We ended up having to take a later ferry than expected and would be an hour late; I called in and the waiting staff was extremely friendly in stating that was fine. Upon arrival at the front of the hotel we were warmly greeted by the doormen. In the restaurant itself I was expecting white table cloths as some of the images had shown, and although the tables were not covered in white table cloth the environment was still very elegant and the ambiance dark and romantic. We were seated next to a window was I had requested in the extra comments section. There were TV screens of fireplaces on one wall and the interior design was both modern and had touches of Washington rustic style. Upon sitting down our waitress asked us if we would like bread and although I was not hungry for bread and only had one slice, said yes as is customary for me in most restaurants. Although it was delicious and warm fresh from the oven I was surprised to see a charge for the bread as it is normally complimentary. For the appetizer we ordered Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Cake. Our waitress did warn us that it would be unique from other crab cakes and would be spongy. This is true, and although the flavor was good it seemed that with this style of texture there was less crab then in a regular crab cake. For the main dishes, I ordered the Bouillabaisse which contained mussel, prawn, scallop, cod and my boyfriend ordered a blackened cod. This we paired with two different types of white wines. My bouillabaisse tasted incredible, they were not skimpy on the amount of seafood that was in the delicious broth and everything was cooked to a tender perfection. The white wine, De Lille Cellars, Chaleur Estate Blanc, Washington, tasted slightly of mushrooms and was refreshingly smoky and floral, a perfect combination for my dish. Our waitress kept on apologizing that everything had taken such a long time and offered us our wine and dessert free of charge. My boyfriend and I had not even realized that so much time had passed since we were having great discussions so that was also a pleasant reduction to our check and showed the genuine caring of the wait staff. There was also twice that we spoke to our waitress in French on accident as it had transitioned from our discussion and she continued to be kind and patient throughout our whole experience. Upon leaving we stayed for a few minutes to watch the live music show. All in all, the wait staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of the food and wine which was delicious. The atmosphere was romantic and we had a truly enjoyable experience.

My husband and I went here this evening for Happy Hour on a suggestion from a local. We were a little hesitant at first because it was really busy and a little more fancy than we were dressed for. However, we were pleasantly surprised. I seriously cannot say enough about the service at the bar. All of the bartenders were very attentive and friendly despite the fact that they were obviously VERY busy. They didn’t at all seem bothered that we were only ordering off the Happy Hour menu. The food was delicious and an excellent bargain(during HH) for the Seattle area. Not to mention, the view from the lounge over the bay is spectacular! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant/bar.

GREAT place! We recommend it. Bad posts are not true! It is located near Pike Place Market but there’s valet so you don’t have to worry looking for a spot. We had reservation and when I phoned them, Jody was very nice and told me that she would put a note that I wanted a window table as they wouldn’t guarantee that there would be one. I thabked their honesty. Traffic wasn’t as bad as I expected for a Friday evening so we arrived a bit earlier and they sit us in the last window table after asking us that if we stood at the bar, probably we would get one later. Christian was a very friendly waiter and explained us dishes and drinks. We asked for another table outside and they were glad to help us look for it and move us!!! Very cool of Christian. As we were xelebrating, they all congratuleted us and helped us for a slice of cheese cake with a candle!!! Really they are the best! I don’t know if all waiters would be with the same energy but all the people that helped us this weekend was great! They helped us to have a wonderful celebration/day! The view is amazing. You would expect to be the first thing I would talk about but I wasn’t expecting that service. By this time I could enjoy the beutiful view and the very very nice restaurant we were at. I think about hearing music because I wasn’t annoyed. We have also some tasty drinks with mezcal from Oaxaca and huge dishes!(They are around $ 12) Bouillabaisse and spinachs were delicious.(Some can be more than $ 25 – 40 but with wverything they are worth it).

My food was wonderful. As a vegetarian, I had the mushroom risotto and a side of asparagus. Everything was cooked wonderfully. My partner, whose gluten free, had the chicken. We had a group of 10+ and all the food came out at once. Service was good. The view from this restaurant is amazing.

Visited on a Friday evening for a glass of wine while staying at the on-site hotel. There was a great local band playing. The water view is beautiful, especially right at sunset. It was difficult to snag a water booth, and I didn’t end up getting one until well after the sun had gone down. But, it’s still a cool place to hang out even when most of the view is gone. Solid wine and cocktail lists, and delicious truffle fries. This was the epitome of what a bar/lounge should be like in the evening.

I feel like this place could be my usual hang out spot in town. Absolutely loved the ambiance, the interior design, the food, the view, the choice of music playing in the background. But the best thing about six seven is location, location, location. The place is literally on the water, with the most stunning view of Seattle. The décor is like a high-end cabin in Colorado. The lights are dimmed and the furniture is very elegant. It is located in a hotel and I usually don’t expect much from restaurants located at a hotel, as they are tourist traps, but Six Seven definitely delivers. We sat at the bar and the menu was different from the last time we were there, so they change the menu often which is a plus for me. Ordered some bar food, a bowl of Ahi poke and some sliders. An hour later, I was super happy with our choices. The chef had paired the ahi tuna chunks with cucumber, seaweed and avocado and I loved the dish. The beef sliders were also really good. As we were about to leave, live music was getting ready to perform. Turns out there is live music on Saturdays at 9:30PM. Will definitely be coming back to this place, hopefully regularly during summer.

Had the traditional Benedict. Pretty good, but nothing particularly remarkable especially for the price. Would have liked more meat, more hollandaise. The potato cake on the side was tasty. I do like the individual tiny ketchup bottle, jam bottles and individual tiny Tabasco sauce bottle on each table. Having seen children lick the rim of a ketchup bottle at other restaurants, the germophobe in me appreciates this touch more than the environmentalist in me winces at it. :) View and ambiance is very nice, which is prob justification for the high food prices. If you’re looking for a unique setting for your meal, the Edgewater is fun to see. The hotel lobby and elevators are also very interesting architecturally. For good breakfast food, you won’t be disappointed but be aware you’re paying for the view.

I was perplexed in deciding whether or not this place deserves 3 or 4 stars after our visit last Saturday. Ambiance and décor deserves 5 stars. The rest depends on the service and staff when you’re there. What I will tell her for sure is that we don’t have another place quite like this in Seattle, Bellevue or Kirkland. From the moment you drive into the valet entrance of the Edgewater Hotel, you can sense it’s something unique. There is a double sided glass fireplace right across the entrance with a multi-fountain right behind it — ooh la la. As you enter and proceed towards the back of Edgewater, Six Seven has both a lounge side with a bar and a restaurant side as well as patio seating. The patio seating tables can only accommodate 2 people as they’re so tiny and there is very little patio space in general. A shame as the view of the water is always in demand, especially during our amazing Spring and Summer seasons. The restaurant area is beautiful with eclectic stylish modern chic mix décor with a cabin-esque vibe, reminding me of the SLS in Beverly Hills. There is a lot of cool details on the chandelier, the fireplaces, etc. The lounge is simpler and fairly small, but it accommodated the 4 of us alright. It took sometime for the server to approach our table and then to get our orders, which frustrated some of us as we were there for dinner and drinks and wanted to at least get appetizers going. That’s when the one star fell off because waiting 10 – 15 minutes to even get a menu and to be welcomed is 10 – 15 minutes too long. She was a bit slow at serving us throughout the evening but she was pleasant and they were also quite busy as it was Saturday evening. The bus boys were great though coming by and taking away all the extra plates and glasses. The food — we ordered appetizers, entrees and drinks — were all fairly delicious and I enjoyed everything I tried but it all barely fit on our tiny table(lounge has super small tables). Some of the appetizer portions were very small for the price such as the mussels and fries but this is also a more lux-priced establishment so some of the menu prices reflect that, as is expected. Overall I enjoyed the experience, minus the slow service, and therefore rated it 4 stars as all else was pleasant and the bathrooms were clean and tidy. Next time would love to dine on the restaurant side, probably next to the 12 fireplaces built into a wall :) It’s the table that can fit a party of 14, the max.

I made reservations here for my boyfriends birthday and overall I was less then impressed. The restaurant gets credit for the beautiful view and location, but with competition restaurants with spots on the water the food fell flat. I made reservations for a May birthday months ahead in hopes of getting a balcony spot(which I had written in the notes). Request went completely ignored, but many other parties got that option which led me to believe we weren’t an «important» enough party. The fact that bread has to be ordered and doesn’t come with the meal lost a star for me. This is the only restaurant I have experienced this, and the bread basket was left half full.(Unusual for my carb loving bf and I.) I got the steak which I ordered medium, and got more of a medium well. Not a huge biggie, but I barely touched it. We decided to skip desert for we had to pay 7 $ for valet parking(seriously?) Overall I would try again, my boyfriend did enjoy his meal, but since we barely eat out as nicer restaurants I doubt this will be the option when we do.

The place is nice but there’s room for improvement. Mandatory valet parking for $ 7 is silly, specially because there are no other options and because its not waved with your lunch/dinner. Food selection is minimal at lunch time with little offer beyond burgers and sandwiches. Lunch trays try to be fancy but they look like they have been to war and come back. I would go elsewhere for lunch. The view and interior space is awesome though. Might be a great place for drinks on a sunny day.

This place has some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen, and not just for a restaurant either. We’ve been so pleased with the quality and service that every time we are in Seattle we make sure to at least stop in for a drink(the old fashion is expertly crafted, probably the best I’ve ever had) and a crab cake(TODIEFOR). we’ve always been well taken care of and seated/served quickly. Which is perfect, because we’re usually headed to a game or somewhere around town right after. This is one of my favorite places to go, sit outside overlooking the water and enjoy time with family and friends. We can’t wait to return again.

The view here is great. I’ve come for restaurant week and it is typical Seattle Northwest food. Apparently they have a happy hour as well. I imagine the sunsets over the sound during happy hour to be a popular hangout place after work. I recently came here for lunch. The bento boxes are a good package. You get a choice of salad, soup and sandwich. Plus they come with potato chips! I would come here for lunch more often if I worked downtown ;) And if you are lucky enough to go with a Zulily employee he/she can get 20% off with their business card? What an awesome perk! Street parking(metered) is usually not hard to find either. They do have valet at Edgewater Hotel as well.

Beautiful space, excellent views, romantic atmosphere, top notch service. On Friday and Saturday nights, they have great live music. It’s almost totally impressive, except that the food is so-so at best. I was here for brunch recently. I had the smoked salmon plate and just didn’t enjoy how the flavors came together. It came with porcini cream cheese, which I didn’t appreciate too much. It was missing that pleasant tang that goes so well with smoked salmon. My fiancé didn’t think his crab Benny was that special either. I didn’t try it, but he said he enjoyed the crab Benny at Hector’s in Kirkland more — that’s his favorite. We shared a stack of pancakes afterwards, and we thought they were perfectly done. Thick, fluffy, and delicious. We got a generous serving of fresh fruit on the side with the pancakes, which was awesome. For libations, I had two mimosas, and he had two greyhounds. Our total bill plus tips was just a bit short of $ 130, which we felt was super-expensive. Okay, I get it, you pay for the views and everything else, but really, you get that at Salty’s in Alki for a comparable price — and the food is way better, and it’s all-you-can-eat. Dinner at Six Seven wasn’t all that memorable either. I don’t even remember what I had. I do remember enjoying the vibe, though. The musician they had that Friday night was really good at acoustic covers.

That view of Elliott Bay… aka all you need to know. So much so that I could stop there, but I’ll continue. I tend to stay away from places that could be a tourist trap… hotel bars typically fall under that category in my experience… probably not where the locals hang… I was hesitant, to be sure. But I’m so glad my hunger and laziness made me opt for walking across the street instead of freshening up and hopping in an über. Plus they have an overall 4 star rating… something had to be good. I collapsed into a comfy overstuffed couch due to my weariness after walking all day… all I wanted was a glass of wine and a charcuterie plate. And this place delivered… especially with that view. It also had great people watching, which quickly became my entertainment instead of my go-to, the phone. My only annoyance was that service was slow and I had an empty glass for 15 minutes twice… but they were crowded and I was there during happy hour. Wine and charcuterie were delightful though… definitely worth a stop! Did I mention that view?

LOVELOVELOVETHISPLACE! My boyfriend and I were staying in Downtown Seattle for a few days for his birthday and we went here for his birthday lunch. I called for a reservation but we came a little early. Around 12ish? I guess they don’t seat outdoors around that time but they were nice enough to let us sit outside since it was our first time there! The view was amazing! It wasn’t that cold but they turned on the heater for us. The food was also fantastic. PLEASEGETTHEAPPLETART, we thought we were full after the meal but the apple tart was too good to pass up! The server was even nice enough to bring our dessert with a candle for my birthday boy :-) We will definitely come back here if we’re ever in town.

Hey there! We ate here for the first meal of 2016 aswe got a room at the hotel and decided just to eat here. Went to the bar pior to our reservations and it was packed! No seats at all available. Also no happy hour on friday or Saturday. We did finally get a seat. I had the hell on wheels which was good but spicy lol wasn’t expecting that, but guess the fire water ingredient should have been a qlue. The wife who was looking mighty fine! Had the pinapple tini which was good no suprises with spice there. For apps we got calamari and it stood up to most of the calamari that we have had. On to dinner! This places has amazing views probably a given. Great romantic rustic feel to it with lighted menus. Bread service 4 $ not to complain about 4 $ but neither should the restaurant when you are dropping more the 50 $ a person. I want free bread! It was gosh dang good though. For main course I had the Filet mignon and it was quite delicous not as good as canlis or capital grill but still very good. Sides weren’t special enough to remember. The wife had a seafood bisque and she was very pleased with it. We also ordered the lobster mac and cheese super delicious. No desert for us to full … Overall great dinner spot with amazing views, awesome seats that make you feel like a boss and good food. Oh yea service was on point but there was not many poeple in there for a Friday night.

The Edgewater Hotel is incredibly beautiful, as is Six Seven. The restaurant is right on the water so you are surrounded by beautiful views of Elliot Bay. The lounge is also beautiful and inviting. The staff is very accommodating and our waitress did a great job of doing what she could to make our experience better… Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. The hubby and I ordered the Christmas prix fixe menu: 1) Crab cake — this was by far the worst crab cake I have ever had, there wasn’t much crab in it, and it had this very weird sponges texture, it had a similar consistency as a steamed egg which was very confusing, and then it was topped off with something similar to ketchup 2) Mixed green salad with burrata — this was ok 3) Cedar Plank Salmon — did not have the nice smokiness that usually comes from roasting salmon on a cedar plank, plus the salmon was so over cooked that it became dry, the best part of the dish was the roasted vegetables 4) Crème Brulee — this had an odd citrusy taste and sadly did not have the awesome hard caramelized sugar topping that is synonymous with crème brûlée. The only saving grace was the extra Mushroom Capellini we ordered, which was awesome, the mushrooms were perfectly seasoned and went beautifully with the cheese and perfectly cooked pasta. There also appeared to be a lot of problems with the kitchen. Our friend’s entrée didn’t arrive until 30 minutes after the rest of the entrees were served. Our dessert was also delayed because of complications in the kitchen. To the manager’s credit, he did give us a discount for the delay in our food, but ended up having to re-calculate the bill 4 times. I am hoping this was just an off-night…

woo. hoo! I did some internet scavenging and decided to take my mom out to fancy Christmas Eve dinner :) The hotel itself is nice, and the restaurant has a wide, open view of the water, though I could barely see anything because, fancy dinner lighting. Also known as sophisticated eating in the dark. Service was prompt and kind. They didn’t have their usual menu. Instead, it was a special course menu special to Christmas Eve at $ 70 a person consisting of appetizer, salad, main, and dessert courses. The meal started off with a bread basket and butter topped with pink salt. The breadbasket is not that remarkable…3 rolls. I think one was white bread and two were whole wheat? yah. Additionally, I ordered a magic elyxer cocktail, which was pretty good. Not very sweet, but fresh and herby, combined with tart grapefruit bitters. I liked it! I think it was kind of expensive though… My appetizer was the gnocchi basically because it involved duck confit, and my mom had the Dungeness crab cakes. Both were super good, and the crab cake was surprisingly soft and tender… and had none of the salty, fishy smell that usually makes me a little weary of crab. Winter salad was also delicious. It had a chunk of spiced apple(wish there was more of that), pineapple, winter greens, and candied walnuts. My mom and I both had the beef filet. STEAK. it was sooo, so delicious. By this time though, we were both getting stuffed. So eventually, I think both of us ended up getting half the steak boxed. As a side update though, yes, the steaks are still delicious and absolutely tender even after reheating :) The meat was cooked medium per our requests and still had a nice pinkness in the middle. Absolutely tender, thick, and juicy. The vegetables that came with it were a nice compliment. Finally, dessert. Apple tart looked pretty cute… my mom ate all of it, so it must have been good considering she usually doesn’t finish deserts. My chocolate torte was nice and rich with raspberry sauce. The server also got us a pot of chamomile tea, which was a good accompaniment. I believe a pot of tea is $ 4 and gives a little over 2 full cups. TLDR: Overall, this place is great for a nice dinner, and I really believe portions were very generous. A lot of people were getting their leftovers boxed. My wallet cried a little as I paid the bill, but I really think it was a fair price overall!

How can you not fall in love with this place?! As you enter you already know you’re going to have a fabulous experience ;) my eggs Benedict standards are super high and Six seven totally met them! They were delicious. The waffles and the panna cotta as well just melted in our mouths. The Bellini was just right not too sweet for my taste. I also thought it was well priced :) I expected to pay much more :) Would definitely go there again! Updated review:) Went again to celebrate my anniversary and the service was ah-mazing! Must be mindful of the fact that the Mac and cheer comes with 6 different types of cheese and there’s blue cheese as well which I’m not a very big fan off so the waiter bought me this amazing shrimp pasta in less than ten minutes which I really appreciated. Also, I have to say that the key lime pie was probably the best and most satisfying piece of dessert I’ve eaten in a very very long time :)

Really, I would only return to Six Seven for the view and for the bar bites. Nothing impressed me during my visit yesterday. The service was mediocre, and normally, I am understanding. However, the fact that I even mention the mediocrity truly underlines the disappointing service we received. Folks, please do not visit Six Seven with high expectations of the food. The clam chowder was cold, and the clams were poorly handled. The view, however, is breathtakingly gorgeous. It may be more fitting to order a few appetizers and enjoy the scenery.

Six seven comes highly recommended. This establishment offers a great dining experience with good food and drinks while being able to enjoy a full view of Elliot bay. The restaurant is inside Edgewater hotel which is very upscale and beautiful, but the décor of Six Seven is a whole tier higher. It has a modern and hip feel. The service has not been outstanding but also not disappointing. I have been here on number of occasions for lunch, dinner, and HH. From those experiences, I have found that dining in the main room that you’ll receive better service as opposed to the lounge in front of the bar especially during HH. The staff always is professional and courteous, but it does seem that they pay more attention and are more prompt in the main dining area. As for the food, I have had some very delicious food here especially off the HH menu. I enjoyed so many different dishes that I haven’t found elsewhere like asparagus fries. All in all, the food is a bit pricey, but considering its casual fine dining with incredible view, it seems reasonable.

The ambiance is so weird, but nice. It’s a mix between a summer house and a cabin. The service is great. The food was so good that it made everything else that I ate during my visit pretty disappointing. We came for snacks– the small snack plates/appetizers that are served in the bar area. The bar area had either the bar to sit at, or a bunch of unique lounge type areas. The beef sliders, truffle fries, and clam chowder were all the best I’ve EVER had. We were all in heaven and actually felt like we had a full meal after sharing all of the things we got. I wish this place was in the Bay Area!!!

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful restaurants in Seattle. There are many restaurants that are set along the water, but this restaurant is over the water. Six Seven is in the back of the first floor in the Edge Water hotel. The hotel itself is well decorated and clean. You must make your way through the first part of the lobby to get to the restaurant. This establishment is well designed and decorated with a modern and hip bar and lounge area on one side and a large spacious dining space extends out further. There is also an outdoor deck that wraps around the restaurant. As previously mentioned, this restaurant is set over the water, so the dining experience is that of being on a cruise ship without the motion sickness. It has a gorgeous panoramic view of Elliot Bay. Moreover, the service is great. Not much to note. What I prefer to discuss more in detail is the food. The dinner menu is rotating, and I haven’t tried the same thing twice. Unfortunately, the food can be a hit or miss. Sometimes the dish is spectacular while others left me disappointed. For the cost, I’d expect consistently good food. As for the HH menu, I have yet to be disappointed. In the past, it was very excellent deals, but the prices were raised along with some menu item changes. I’d highly recommend going to Six Seven at least for the amazing dining experience and hopefully you get lucky in choosing a good dish too.

Food: 4 stars Service: 2 stars, at best For such a well known restaurant, I was a bit disappointed in my first dining experience at Six Seven. I coordinated a brunch for about 10 people, and when I made the reservation, I asked the hostess if we would be able to have separate checks. I was placed on hold, and a few minutes, she returned and let me know that though they normally don’t, they would be able to provide separate checks for my large party. Based on that assurance, I went ahead and confirmed the reservation. Fast forward to today, during brunch. The server was making her way around the table, and I asked to go last because I was still deciding. After she took the last order, she walked off and returned 5 minutes later after she realized she never took my order. No biggie, I thought. When it came time to settle our bill, the server brought a single check. I informed her that we were doing separate checks as arranged when I made the reservation. She said, «We don’t do separate checks here.» Again, I mentioned the previous hostess who confirmed this when I made the reservation. She tells me to hold on, leaves the table, and comes back 5 minutes after she spoke to some unknown person in the back and says, «No one told you that you could pay on separate checks, but I can do it for you this once, but it’s going to take a long time.» There are ways to professionally handle disputes, inferring that your customer(who has brought multiple people to experience your restaurant for the first time) is a liar, is not one of them. I was taken aback by her attitude but said, «OK.» She came back 15 minutes later with the checks and announces, «I was able to separate these out, but I can only accept 5 credit cards, the rest will have to be cash.»(There were 9 of us total.) When asked why she could only accept 5 credit cards, she said it was because the system freezes after 5 credit cards are used consecutively.(WHAT?!) At this point, we were all ready to go. Unfortunately, this was everyone’s first time at Six Seven and every single person left with a bad taste in their mouth. Truth be told, I’ve encountered better service at Red Robin. Service sucks, but the food IS good. Try the Chicken & Waffles or Crab Frittata for a tasty meal. $ 6 flat fee for valet parking. Will I be back? Perhaps once they upgrade their computer system and upgrade their servers.

Six Seven is a restaurant located in the Edgewater hotel. It has a bar and a lounge area. It’s supposedly known for its food and its gorgeous view. I’m not going to lie. The view is really pretty and it’s a great back drop for dinner. However, that’s all Six Seven has going for it. Now the service was decent but it wasn’t great. I decided to fly my parents and sisters for an all expense paid vacation for the weekend to celebrate my pop’s birthday. When we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes for our table even though we had reservations. I informed the host that it was my father’s birthday. The host said he will let our waitress know. Restaurants usually do a little something extra if you’re celebrating a special occasion. Top restaurants(i.e., Michelin rated) will print out personalized menus and complementary dessert/dish. In addition, mid-tier restaurants would provide a complementary dessert. I would put Six Seven in Mastro’s category which is mid-tier. However, Six Seven did neither. It was a bit disappointing. Now the food. We ordered a few items on the menu. My father and I each had the Filet Mignon, my mother had the Salmon, middle sister had the lobster Mac N Cheese, and my baby sister had the Seafood platter. We started with the mussels to share and had another side of Lobster Mac N Cheese. In addition, we had a few drinks. Unfortunately, everything was mediocre at best. 1) Filet Mignon — The dish came with asparagus, potato purée aka mash potatoes, and some uneventful sauce. When I see sauce on a steak, it’s a big indicator that it’s a sh*tty piece of steak. I requested my steak medium rare and it came out medium well. The flavors of the steak was drowned out by the sauce and mash potatoes. The steak lacked any real buttery and savory texture. It was tender but you can make anything tender if you sous vide it. 2) Mussels — This was a decent dish. The mussels were laid in a coconut flavor broth, which seemed to be Thai inspired. The mussels were a bit overcooked and we had to dip it in the broth to get any flavoring out of it. It came out dryer than Ashy Larry after a craps game. 3) Lobster Mac N Cheese — The dish was mediocre at best. Some parts of the dish was watery and other parts creamy. It was inconsistently cooked all around. The«mac» was also inconsistent with some parts al dente and some parts overcooked. The lobster was the only decent part of the dish because it’s lobster. Lastly, the only thing Six Seven had going for it was the view. I really wanted to like Six Seven and I don’t give out many reviews under 3 stars. Everyone tells me I should lower my standards based on city but I don’t think it would be fair to up a restaurant’s rating and lower my critique based on city. I have to be fair. Therefore, the food was mediocre at best and the service wasn’t amazing. Unfortunately, Six Seven was a big disappointment and I can’t say I would recommend them to anyone I know or anyone visiting out of town.

My my what a view! Fine dining with sunsets and sailboats with people waving at you as they sail by. This place is perfect! I have absolutely no complaints. The excellent: The view– wow. You can make reservations for a TABLE but NOT with a view. If you’d like to eat outside its first come first serve. I made reservations 2 weeks in advance and found that pier tables are first come first serve but I made a strong request that I wanted a table so the nice lady over the phone noted that down for me. Cove mussels– the rich and flavorful broth has cream, tomatoes and garlic with tons of herbs that make it so yummy. The mussels were easy to remove from their shells, tasted fresh and complimented the broth that much more. Such a great appetizer to start with! Complimentary bread and butter– Not your typical bread basket. The bread was hot and tastes like it was just fresh out of the oven and they serve it with butter that has chunks of salt on it that makes your sweet bread balance out flavors when adding the saltiness to it. Careful not to fill up! Scallops– it’s Seattle. Obviously the seafood is going to be fresh. They weren’t overcooked or under seasoned. They are placed over this sweet and subtle compote that makes the dish. Lobster mac and cheese– I don’t need to explain. Amazing. Just get it. Linguine carbonara with pork belly– just the name alone should give you a hint of what to expect. Come hungry. Their drink list is HUGE. 5 pages. The staff is incredible and always on the ball even with it being very busy. Our drinks were always refilled, we were checked on every 20 minutes after our meals came and even the manager came out and introduced himself. Parking– you don’t even park your car yourself! It’s free Parking and you just give it to the valet and when you’re done they bring your car around for you. Full on fine dining and service. I’ve never been to such an amazing restaurant in my life. The view, the staff and the food exceeded my Expectations. If I lived in Seattle, I would definitely make Six Seven a regular spot of mine. Yes it is pricey here, but it’s worth every penny. I’d gladly spend a couple hundred bucks a week to eat here and see that view.

Unilocal brought us here with a search for a memorable waterfront restaurant in Seattle and its great reviews. We couldn’t have been more pleased; From the approach to this regal hotel restaurant, to the beautiful entry, to meandering in the lobby on the way to Restaurant Six Seven. We visited in late April and just before sunset we were looking forward to a beautiful view of the waterfront. Regretfully the first table we were directed to did not have that. We noticed a few outdoor tables available. We quickly got moved. The weather was beautiful and we ended up with the BEST view of all. There were a few heat lamps out on the patio but they really weren’t needed that evening. Looking over the menu we were thrilled to find few things on the happy hour menu we wanted to try. My favorite being the tempura fried veges served with a memorable remoulade. The company, the view, the happy hour all so memorable, we ended up staying for dinner even though we really weren’t hungry. And we opted to stay on the patio, even though waterfront tables inside had opened up by then. Best decision. The view really was breathtaking. The food exquisite. Started with a delicious arugula pear salad and a memorable fois gras and fruit platter served with crostini to share. Surprised to enjoy the very best salmon I had EVER experienced, served on cedar plank. Also tried a bite of my niece’s lamb shank which was melt in your mouth delicious. Both of us made a mental note, «must return here soon!» Located on scenic Alaskan Way, close to the aquarium, and convenient to downtown Seattle, the location couldn’t be better. Just off the lobby of the historical Edgewater Hotel. The good memory will just have to keep me going until my next visit.
