Formerly Shinka Tea, but they switched owners? They have almost the same flavors, but without the fruity blends. So sad, since that’s what I usually look forward to. Their regular teas and plain black milk tea will have to do for myself.

Sit Sip Study Café is a great place to relax or to study and do homework. It’s a very chill place. The drinks are delicious! They also make really good panini sandwiches. The white boards on the wall really helps when studying. They also have board games available to play. The owner is very friendly, and you can tell he’s really passionate about coffee and tea. My wife is not a coffee person so he helped figure out a drink that she loved!

I like most of their drinks, especially the banana macchiato, matcha frappé and sweet chai latte(you can probably tell I like sweet drinks). I’m an early morning person with classes at 9 often, and so I’m a little bummed they don’t open earlier. Sometimes they’re not open at all despite business hours, which is also discouraging. Also their neon sign may occasionally say they have waffles, which is no longer true. According to the manager they stopped selling it.

We come here primarily for their Thai bubble tea. My favorite has been their hot Lavender Black Tea with boba — freshly brewed and not sickly sweet. The service here is friendly but can be a bit slow at times. It seems like it would be a decent place to study if I were in school still — love the white boards on the walls!

This coffee shop is an ideal place to study or hang out, for the following reasons: –It’s spacious. –It’s clean and well lit. –It has a mellow vibe –smooth music, mellow staff, and mellow patrons. –They have magic marker boards mounted across the walls, which you can use for studying with others. –They have board games. –They make an excellent mocha. –Great location. –A higher quality product and experience than Starbucks or Tullys. –It’s locally owned and managed. I didn’t try the pastries, but the mocha and environment were cool.

this place used to be shinka with great milk tea and mini tapioca balls. honestly, the quality is not as good as shinka but the tea still tastes good. they’ve expanded their menu to espresso drinks too.

I come here mainly for the Thai iced tea with baby bobas. It’s a bit pricey, but my favorite Thai food spot across the street only has larger bobas in their Thai iced tea, so I prefer the tea here. The atmosphere is chill and there are always students here studying, hence the name, «Sit, Sip, Study.» I’d probably come here if I was a college student in need of a nice place to relax with friends. My only complaint is they need a bell or something at the front register because there have been numerous times where I’ve had to wait 5+ minutes for someone to come out from the back because they didn’t hear me come in.

We previously stopped by this location when it was Shinka Tea and really enjoyed their fresh brewed boba tea drinks. We stopped by again last week to try out the teas under new management and were very pleased to see(and taste) that they kept that aspect. It’s hard to find places that value and brew loose-leaf teas, let alone make it into a milk tea boba drink! With that said though, I was a bit disappointed with the Jasmine Grapefruit hot tea. I know, I know… sounds like a disgusting mix and that it was. I don’t know who came up with this flavor but tea and grapefruit do not mix well. The drink was bitter, then sour, then left a very bitter aftertaste. We’ll have to go with something a little more traditional next time. =P They also have their holiday menu up! Eggnog, peppermint latte, etc. So, for those who like coffee they have a great variety of coffee drinks, too! The place is good for local students to sit, sip, and study. Although I’m not a student anymore, coming here and seeing white boards that cover the walls and leftover OChem and calculus problems scribbled all over is nostalgic. There’s even an area in the back, closer to the bathrooms, set aside for groups of 4 or more to study together(the area is partitioned with a small wall). What a great concept! Boba + friends + studying until all your hair has been ripped off.

I love the tea and tapioca pearls at Sit Sip Study(formerly Shinka Tea). The tea is real brewed tea(not from a powder mix) and they make their own pearls. I go frequently and it’s always delicious!

I thought they only changed the name from shika. But I bought three Jasmin milk tea, two hot and one cold. The cold one was terrible and the hot one just a bit better than the cold one but still bad. Their topioca was not good too. I’m not recommend this place’s drink.

This coffee/tea shop was currently known as «Shinka Tea», it is under new management. This is the place to go if you’re looking for the real«bubble» tea! It’s not the blended powdered flavored bubble teas that people usually get at the phở restaurants or other bubble tea places. This is the real deal! My favorite milk tea«bubble tea» is the Thai Milk Tea and Black Rose Milk tea. They also have some very delicious ice blended drink! The Green Tea Frappé made with ice cream is my favorite drink!!! They have a good variety of different drinks, as well as coffee too! You can pretty much get any hot/cold coffee drinks there. I give this place a 5 star because the new owner/manager there is very helpful and super nice! :) I would definitely recommend those bubble tea lovers to give this place a try & see what the real deal is all about! And, definitely try the coffee drinks because they’re delicious!!! Oh, and not to mention, they have waffles & panini sandwiches there too! Which are by the way, pretty flavorful and delicious. I say, give this place a try! You’re bound to find something on the menu that you’ll like! :)
