Silly Sisters Joyful Cleaning

I used this cleaning service for years, and was totally happy.
They sent the same young man every time, and
he put up with my cat (who nipped him once) and
did a very good job.
Was professional yet friendly.

We hired Silly Sisters about 10 years ago when I was away for the summer & my other half didn’t want to clean. They did the job and it was worth it even for students on a budget.
Now we’re grownups with a kid and having the same arguments about priorities & time. I don’t know why I waited so long to call them. Silly Sisters is definitely helping our relationship.
In the 2 person hours we’re charged for, they do more work than we could do ourselves on a full Saturday cleaning blast. Dust a million bookshelves and vacuum 3 floors (including two sets of stairs) free of cat & dog hair? BAM! Clean two bathrooms and mop the kitchen floor? POW! The first visit we paid for 4 person hours and they – gasp – washed all the windows and scrubbed down the stove, plus all of the above and a ton of other stuff.
You let them know how much you want to spend & what your priorities are. They make it happen. Supply your own cleaners or they bring method products.
I highly recommend hiring Silly Sisters for a friend with a new baby. Somewhere around the 5 – 6 month range, invite your friend out to lunch and pay to have their house cleaned. Much better shower gift than another pile of onesies.

Reasonable rates if they did the work they promised, but the hired hands were not at all thorough and we ended up cleaning up after them. They were on time and friendly enough, but I would not hire these folks again.

I have no clue as to why someone would name their company this name, but it sticks in your head like a Britney Spears song. They are a local company, charge a pretty standard rate for Seattle (around $ 25 per hour), and are flexible to weekly, monthly or one time cleaning. One of the owners will come to your house to meet you and negotiate price. Then you will be set up with the same person, and they follow up with you after the first cleaning to get feedback on how things went, did you have different expectations, did they miss the dog slobber on the window, etc. The first times, the person did a very meticulous job. After that, he slacked off. We ended up finding an individual that we really like, but I would recommend this company as a first step. Others that have used them that have had different cleaners really liked them, and I believe they are committed to satisfying customers.
