I am so happy with my cut and color! Kristin Vogel did an amazing job. Before being recommended to Kristin, I had the hardest time finding a new stylist since moving to Seattle from Portland. I LOVE Kristin’s attention to detail. My blonde is the perfect color for me — blended and soft. I have already made my next appointment.

Shellie has been cutting my hair for about 6 months now and I’ve been so pleased with my cuts, colors and overall experience!
For so long in my experience as a Seattle resident, I struggled finding the perfect hair stylist in terms of price, how well I liked my cut and/​or color and the overall experience. It’s nearly impossible to find somewhere in Seattle that accomplishes all three (at the very least I was getting a decent cut and color but for an arm and a leg). I was getting so sick of it! Until a friend recommended Shine and Shellie and my problems were solved.
I love Shellie’s salon on Greenwood Ave. It’s cute, cozy and beautifully decorated. Plus, there’s free parking! A huge plus.
Shellie always puts in the effort time and care into exactly what color and cut I’m striving for. Even if that means I’m at the salon for two hours, it’s well worth it knowing that my stylist genuinely cares about my hair and experience. Plus, she’s a really cool gal and great to talk to, making for one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had!
Not to mention, Shellis and other stylists at Shine offer extremely reasonable prices. Win win win!

Had a fun relaxing time while getting my hair colored by Kristin!!! She made the time fly by — felt like my hair was being pampered and it shows! I am traveling and it’s tricky finding a great place to get your hair colored, so I trusted Unilocal reviews and was not let down! My hair looks great — healthy and shiny!!! Love it!!!

The salon is fresh, clean and decorated really well. I lucked out and was able to get a hair cut and brow wax as a walk-​in. Katina did a great job with my hair, she asked a lot of questions before getting started and continued to as we went along.
As far as the brows go, I’ve had better but I’m really picky about my eyebrows so others may disagree.
I’ll definitely be back for future haircuts.

Shellie has been cutting & coloring my hair for a long time. I tried to find a hair stylist closer to me a couple of times in the past but I could not find anybody whom I like and feel comfortable with… so I gave up. It’s totally worth driving to Seattle once a month! :) And I love this new salon — Shine Hair Studio. It’s so clean, spacious and has an elegant atmosphere that I really love! I highly recommend this studio and Shellie! She doesn’t work every day, so make sure to call first and make an appointment with her!

First time at the new location for two of Seattle’s best. Shellie has been cutting my hair for 20+ years and I would follow her anywhere but this new place is very elegant.
