I worked for a large in-​home care company in Phoenix, AZ & I have to say that small/​local is the way to go! I feel that my year & half working with Sequoia In-​Home Care has been eye opening. This isn’t just a job for me & I would say my coworkers would probably agree. It’s a company I am proud to be associated with, who is committed to our community and our clients. By staying a smaller company we are able to spend the time it takes to thoroughly train & support our staff throughout their employment. We provide quality care to our clients and make sure they are satisfied with the caregivers we’ve selected. Our clients & their families aren’t «just a number» to us. We really get to know our clients and their needs to assist them in staying independent in their homes for as long as possible. I think our clients impact our lives as much as we impact theirs.

My dad recently had back surgery and I needed some very last minute help tending to him so I could get out of town for a conference. A friend put me in touch with Paul and Hilary at Sequoia and they saved the day. They not only covered four weekend shifts with just a few hours’ notice, they treated my dad with the kind of care and respect you don’t often find in senior care. I will definitely call on them again should the need arise.

If I was looking for in-​home care for a loved one, I would call Sequoia. I have worked with several of the care givers and administrative staff in various capacities, and have always been impressed with their level of concern and compassion for their clients. Sequoia is organized, deliberate and respectful of both their workers and clients. You can feel that the staff genuinely cares for the people they take care of.
