Definitely the best place to go for any Seattle U gear and also a good place to get sundries. The store is almost invisible on campus however and quietly nestled in a Administration Building.

Went to law school at SU, and these guys consistently charge at least 15−25% over what amazon or other marketplaces charge for books. Not to mention terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and purchase your textbooks elsewhere; the school is already charging you an outrageous sum for tuition, why let them take advantage of you twice?

When I was a student at SU, I hardly purchased my books here unless if I needed something last minute. Other than that, I just went here to purchase the usual«blue books» and art supplies(which they no longer carry. I’m assuming due to Blick’s presence in Capitol Hill). I do have to say, SU’s apparel has drastically improved since my undergrad years. Thank goodness!

One of the only reasons why I would come to the SU Bookstore is to get Leuchtturm1917 notebooks. These are like Moleskines but better! If you want to know what it’s better, just read this post: Other than that, the bookstore’s books are more expensive than what you can get online. Nevertheless, it is well-stocked with school supplies and other SU goods. So if you need something while you are on campus, this is a convenience one-stop shop to get supplies.

I can get lost in here for hours. Decent prices, a parking lot, and a wide variety of goods will bring me back again and again.

The hours kind of stink, I wish they were open later, but they’re a campus bookstore, so I probably shouldn’t expect much. Duh, they’re spendy… they’re a campus bookstore. Although… recently they had a 3 day sale where everything(except textbooks) were 25% off!!! Yes, that includes notebooks, binders, sprial notepads… they’re a campus bookstore! And if you’re an office supply fiend like me, there is nothing better than a sale on colored paper and smelly markers.

Its overpriced! If you’re a student I suggest purchasing your books online for half price. I bought a little book thats supposed to only be 4 bucks but they were selling it for about 10 extra bucks, maybe more I don’t remember. So its like 14 bucks for what supposed to be a 4 dollar book. They also have apparrell, SU merchendise, food, greeting cards, electronics, random nicknacks, art supplies, and other things. Sometimes they have good clearance Items such as spiral notebooks for $.50. For three days in November they have a storewide sale of 25% off everything(excluding textbooks).

It was the middle of a rainstorm and no sane person would have gone outside, but I was looking to score. I drove down 12th Ave, straddling the no man’s zone that is between the CD, the ID, and Capitol Hill, keeping an eye out for a spot I could park quickly and illegally. I pulled into the commercial loading zone, jumped out of the car, and ran towards the first door I could find. Great, I have to walk through the law school. Assuming the gait of an overly caffeinated law student in the throws of finals I confidently made my way to the middle of campus, took a sharp right, and ducked into the bookstore. And there they were. Moleskine Notebooks. A whole glorious display of them just waiting to be consumed. They had every kind; ruled, graphed, watercolor, sketch, even accordion pockets… but alas, my tastes are not so pedestrian. I was looking for the elusive calendar/notebook pocket sized black book. The familiar feeling of defeat washed over me. This was nothing new, I had looked at no less than a dozen bookstores for a hit and struck out at every one of them, even Powell’s! Then, just as I was about to leave all the burgundy sweatshirts and textbooks behind — I saw them. A whole shelf of Moleskine calendars! Tons of them. Calendar year, academic year, large sized, tiny sized, even a few limited edition red Moleskine books!!! I felt woozy and drunk with choices. Grabbed what I needed and made the dash. Today, I bought a calendar.
