Adorable building and great natural lighting! Not a huge selection of books but great location to complete homework — free wifi and big work tables.

Quiet, small and unique library branch. Good selection of reading material, movies and resources. Staff are pretty friendly. You can get a book to read it on one of the many tables available. A few computer available for use by patrons. Parking available around the building.

this is a good branch, but more of a location for picking up a «hold» item than browsing. It’s pretty small, but does pack a bit into the space it has. The staff are all very friendly, and there is plenty of room for a person to grab a seat to read a book or use one of their computers for whatever you need. Plus, a parking lot so you don’t have to hunt for street parking.

Staff here is nice and while small, this little library has old world charm with a cozy feeling. I love buildings with character and this definitely has it! The check out system is quick & easy, the location is great and I find this place peaceful like a neighborhood library should be. It’s not at all like a city library and this is my favorite part. Kinda reminds me of living in a small town again.
With that said, the size is small which means limited selection and the hours are a bit odd (but the hours are SPL standard for the most part).
I love having this place nearby in my community and will continue supporting it!

I do love the library it offers a lot of advantages. You can check out a book at any library and return yo your closest branch that’s cool.

The library seems so much larger from the outside than it is when you walk in. The parking lot is a bit tiny, too, but I’m grateful that they at least have that. The library did smell a bit weird, but that’s expected from old public buildings.
Library is a bit loud because of the acoustics of the building but no one seems to mind. What bothered me more was how slow the WiFi was. I needed to get work done and we didn’t have internet at home yet so I came here. The WiFi was fine for regular Internet-​surfing, but I needed to remote into my computer in LA, which takes up considerable bandwidth.
I do like the location, since it is walking distance from Green Lake and my apartment. The library staff seems super friendly to everyone. I’d like to go back and stroll through the place and see what else it has to offer.

One of my library books was accidentally sent here. Rather than have it shifted to my own library, I stopped by while out on some errands to pick it up. The small parking lot was full so I had to find street parking. And it was exceedingly stuffy inside. I was glad to pop in and pop out.
I usually wash my hands when finished at any library but had to skip the bathroom. There was a queue to use the facilities! I will just have SPL shift my book to my local branch rather than go through the headache of returning.

This is one of those nice library buildings. It’s open and unique and I like it.
The selection of books they have seems decent, but if I lived in the area I’d probably use them more for picking up items I ordered from other branches in the system.
The only downsides:
Only 2 – 3 internet stations.
Only one public toilet… and it was a little dirty in there.
Compared to the Greenwood library, this library is not all that great. It’s super small and the parking lot is miniature (but at least they have a lot). There are few computer terminals so it’s almost impossible to get on the internet here. There is only one toilet and I almost always have to wait in line for it when I’m here. Oh and during the summer this place heats up like a sauna, I guess they don’t have A/​C here as it’s an older building.
It is in a great location (right across from Green Lake & the Evans pool). Which does make it nice to swing by if you are walking the lake.
The hours are pretty sucky though.
