This place was wonderful! I bought two frames over a year ago that had no glass or back– it was just the simple frame. Finally, I looked up places that could help me add the missing pieces and found this place. I called and spoke with Molly and she assured me that I could certainly bring my frame in to her store. I did later that day and was more than pleased with the service and the job done.

Customer service doesn’t get much better than this! Which is big deal when you sign up for custom framing. Owner Molly is a real pro– she has a vast understanding of archival materials and can really make a piece of art sing with her creative framing skills. I’ve had her frame a few of my pieces and I’m always amazed at how much better she makes things look. A+++ and lots of gold stars for Seattle Custom Framing.

Molly is incredibly helpful. More than that, she studies what you’re framing and designs the best way to showcase it. She understands art, understands the best way to pick out matte colors, etc… So the print I had actually looks WAY better than it did on its own due to the color choices she helped me make with the framing and matte. She’s a framing artist, really.

I purchased a Dali print from Florida and felt it needed a worthy frame. Not only was the owner helpful beyond belief, she really made me feel as though I was an important customer, even though I was using a coupon. We picked beautiful mats and an interesting frame. When it was ready soon after, I was in love with the results! What a pleasant experience!

The next time I need something framed I’ll certainly shop here. I called Seattle Custom Framing one day asking for a random item and not only did they have it but they provided it to me with a smile and then some. The item in question really helped me out in a pinch and for that I’m forever grateful.

Seattle Custom Framing was a great place to have my posters mounted. The owners are friendly, helpful, reliable, and affordable and it’s rare to find all of this in one place. I highly recommend using their services for framing anything, expensive or not, they will do a great job.

As I have never framed a painting before, I find myself extremely lucky to have run across ‘Seattle Custom Framing’ and its über-friendly Owner Molly. On the phone, she explained to me in lengthy detail about different framing processes. In person, she suggested the best frame based on my personal style and my budget constraints. During the framing process, she received a frame from her supplier which was not the«perfect» color based on my painting and she drove back to exchange it because she knew the painting would look better with the correct color. I looked at Aaron Brothers and a few other big name stores and found the prices to be very slightly cheaper. But the 2 week wait and impersonality of the stores made the decision easy… go to Seattle Custom Framing from here onward. Overall, this was an excellent experience.

My Ma is a lucky woman. I cannot tell you how many times she’s won«things» or tickets to events or services… As an only child I usually reap the rewards as well which can be totally awesome(as it was today), or it can be practically painful(woo motocross. Not. I swear it’s just not as fun with a woman in her 50s). As far as I’m concerned, details are unnecessary, I will accept any gift if the end result is, at the very least, a new experience and future memory with my amazing Ma. I digress. The Madre was offered her choice of one of several beautiful pieces of art, no charge. I could tell you another story to demonstrate how many different pieces of art she has on her walls(and shelves and leaning against walls and shelves) at home, but let’s just keep it simple and say she has *plenty*…Knowing that I still have some wall space to fill at my apartment, she decided she would pass the chance along to me. She had viewed the pieces already and had called to describe them to me, glossing over a set of chandelier giclees that she described as ugly, going on to a few pieces that didn’t really catch her eye, then the pieces that in her estimation were classical and totally appropriate for my apartment. I’m sure she called one of the owners(Molly) a number of times trying to get the names of the ones she thought I would really like so we could look them up online. In the end, both of the pieces she showed me were pretty, but not quite striking enough to coordinate with the stuff I currently have on my walls. In the end, she told me it was my choice since it was going to be my first piece of art with substantial value and her gift to me. When I arrived this evening shortly before my mother, Molly Boone-Jones was there to greet me and had the pieces at hand. Immediately as I walked in, there were two eye-catching pieces… A classic chandelier silhouette, one with a dark camel background and one with a deep red background. She originally intended to show me primarily the pieces my Ma had liked, but I knew from the start I wanted to see all the options in person. Thank goodness for that. They were all absolutely beautiful, but nothing made me smile like the damn chandelier. My Ma thinks it’s awful. Because she loves me she gave me a $ 900 piece of art that she will roll her eyes at every time she comes to my place. Beyond that lovely story, the owner of Seattle Custom Framing(located on 3rd& Battery in Belltown) Molly Boone-Jones and her assistant Larry Aldrich are really nice folks. They have a mind-boggling selection of frames to choose from and offer a number of different services related to framing and presentation needs(I’m not positive that restorations are one of them, but they seem to be good at it if you consider the examples I was shown that they had worked on). They actually do quite a bit of the framing for Roq La Rue and I know how the Unilocalers love RLR(and if you don’t, you should)… If you’re in the market, you should definitely check them out. P. S. Yes i *did* use the word«not.»
