In January of this year, Marci from Salon Services introduced herself after I had reached out to Dermalogica to find a local distributor; April — The Derm. Rep for SS put us in contact with Marci; whom we fell in love with! We were crushed when she got promoted to a larger area. In Marci’s absence, a new hire came, never introducing herself; nor even following through on orders. She left us hanging on a Brazilian Blowout Intro I requested a couple times. During this time period, CosmoProf had failed in attaining an Educator for the Joico and Chi lines, so I was actively working remove both lines completely from my salon. The week I packed up everything and sent it back to CosmoProf, I reached out to Salon Services, in hopes to get in contact with whomever our new sales rep was at the end of April. The person never called me back, never bothered to stop by the salon and introduce himself; nor did anyone reach out to me. As I was hoping to bring in Loma and Davines into my salon. But no one got in contact with me. After almost a month of no response, I decided to bring in a line called EVO from Ed Wyse.(Best decision I’ve made) because I desperately needed a product line in my salon for my clients. I finally brought in the full line of Dermalogica into my salon. I felt rounded, but still wanted LOMA. Fast forward to the first week of June. My esthetician and I attended the Rentinol Launch Class, which happened to be Salon Services Customer Appreciation. The sales on Loma were awesome! But I really wanted to get the intro kit Marci and I had discussed. Obviously it was too large to carry in the showroom, and I didn’t have time to do will-call, so I shrug my shoulders and accept defeat, yet again. While I’m wondering around, looking at the other lines, I happened to get approached by the DM, Tami; whom, at the time seemed extremely understanding, apologetic and promised me — 3 times that she would follow up with a phone call. She apologized that she hadn’t been able to find someone to help us, but she promised she would take over and help me get Loma. Even to this day she has yet to call me. It is now almost 2 months later and she hasn’t bothered to send an email, she hasn’t bothered to call. I still don’t have Loma in my salon and now, it’s been a total of 6 months since I tried to purchase SOMETHING! In my attempts to go above Tami’s head, I called the Renton Showroom. I was given Tiffany’s name and directed to the website to get her email. After writing a long letter, describing everything, as I have done so, here; I hit«send» and I get a return message from PostMaster@SalonServices that the email address does not exist; though I got the information directly from the website. In my frustration, I reached out to attain the proper email for Tiffany; in which she promptly emailed me & apologized. But that is seriously it. «I’m sorry we’re losing you as a customer.» Sounds real apologetic right? The woman, just like everyone else, promised to call me and never did. She instead, sent the poor new girl to contact me, she was so nervous she tells me, «I care about you as a person.» Is it just me, or does everyone else question individuals that say they care about us, but they have NEVER met us in person? I officially HATE this company and will do everything in my power to make sure EVERYONE knows how horrible they treat their customers, how little they actually care about them. They don’t even want my money. One thing I told Tiffany when I emailed her, «I use to feel like Salon Services was prestigious and best of the best, compared to CosmoProf.» But I will tell you what; when I reached out to the Area /District Manager of CosmoProf to let her know that our sales representative had failed in acquiring us education; she came in from across the water to apologize. Not that I wanted, or even needed it, but they brought in a couple hot tools for me to have, just to show me how deeply sorry they were. When I explained how much I distrust everyone(except Marci and April) this is the response I got: «I am very sorry that we have lost your business and your trust. I hope someday to be able to get your business back and service you as we can and should have been doing all along. Thank you Tiffiny Harwell | Director of Sales» Save your time and money. While Dermalogica, Davines, Loma, & Brazilian Blowout are AMAZING products, there is Ed Wyse and SalonCentric if you don’t like CosmoProf. There are a million great shampoos and conditioners, and many excellent styling products, but there are only a select few companies that actually care about how the way their employees treat you. WORSTSALONDISTRIBUTOREVER. WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER. HORRIBLECOMMUNICATION. WEBSITEISOUTDATEDANDINACCURATEWITHTHEINFORMATIONTHEYPROVIDE. If I could rate this place a NEGATIVE5, I would. I have never wanted to rate a business so incredibly low in my life.
