*We picked up two burgers to go a Blu and the Diner *Tasty but WAY too salty and I like salty, someone was too heavy handed *Also got a «salad» replacement on a fry and all it was was arugula, that’s it. and they charge more, not really a good value if you ask me.

I love all of the employees here and I always have a good time. They have trivia night and a pool table so it’s not just your average bar. The food is also pretty decent with good portions. I would have to say the chicken strips are my favorite, nice a crunchy.

First time going and it was pretty darn good. Enjoyed our Reubens and the fine selection of beers both on tap and in bottles. Service was friendly and the bartender was knowledgeable. Can imagine it gets noisy on sportsball night, but when we went it was pretty mellow. Four stars today, and will return.

My new neighborhood pub. Decent beer selection, pretty much everything on the menu is solid, above-average pub food, atmosphere is friendly, plenty of TVs for sports, pretty much everything you want in a neighborhood spot to have a beer and a burger. Favorite menu item is probably the Diablo pizza, surprisingly tasty.

This is the worst service and accommodating place ever. 2 – 3 years experience. Amber should be fired. Worst person I’ve ever met in the service industry. EVER!!! Can’t say much for the rest of them! Go to Watershed where the ex-employees work!!! F the hell out of this place!

Love their food. Perfect hamburger and French fries. Last time I was here, quesadillas was so good, too!

Great neighborhood pub. I started coming here before I had kids because of their great happy hour. After we had kids, we started coming here more because of the kid friendly atmosphere. The food is better than typical pub fare. They don’t have an overly complicated menu, but what they serve they make well. The place is always busy, but their service is superb. The staff is quick, efficient and very friendly. If you are looking for a family friendly place where you can enjoy a pint and some nachos, you can’t beat the Alehouse.

They have a large beer selection, but a smallish food menu. The brussel sprouts are my favorite, but not much else that I love on the menu. It gets very loud in there most nights, so it’s nice when it’s warm enough to have the patio open. The service is good.

This place has always been pretty«meh», but it is close and convenient. Ish. I went here. A lot. It was my home away from home for a long time, but I’ve finally decided that I can’t come here anymore. The cooks are great. This place is great if you love; being elbowed by someone mopping with no apology no greetings other than«what are ya drink in’?» hearing giant buckets of glass bottles being dumped in to other buckets of glass bottles overpriced warm beer(lots of AB“microbrews”) and the feeling that you, as a guest, are secondary. Not trying to invest myself in a review, but basically if this place were a dude, it’d wear Ed Hardy.

A great inviting space for our large group that went out to celebrate this past Saturday evening. Good selection of taps and full bar as well. Pub food and pizza, which is what I expected more or less. It was solid, and everyone in my party seemed to be happy. Bartender and servers were on top of their game, which was great considering there was at least 50+ of us hungry and thirsty. This looks like a great neighborhood spot, and am definitely coming back.

Really good bar right on Roosevelt. Has outdoor seating and plenty of space inside. Has a good amount of tv’s for your favorite teams. Tons of bottled beer of all kinds plus 10 on draft. Really good happy hour for both food and drinks. Really good wings, pizza, and burgers that I’ve had so far. Been here a few times and enjoyed it each time. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Very chill and will be coming back!

Happy Hour drink prices are alright and food is typical bar food, nothing great or disgusting. Beer selection on tap is weak sauce but bottle selection is slightly better. Great space with pool table, I’ll definitely be back.

It’s the best bar near me the beer selection is not the best if your looking for IPA’s and I only ate here once and had there Vegetarian burger which had no flavor. If you like a kick in your burgers and a Vegetarian ask for Jalapeños or you will be disappointed. Not many local beers on Tap either

Amber and Kenji are perfect captains for a stellar crew. A rotating tap list to rival any in Ballard or Fremont, with locals and good out of state options. Food is killer, and if you just bought a house in Maple Leaf, the Diner Burger is the perfect compliment. If there’s a bar I want to be a regular at, it’s here at the Rose.

Maybe if you live within a 2 block radius of here, you’re fine with the convenience/quality trade-off. It’s not a destination ale house. Beer selection: 90% bottled, very little local offerings, or anything more diverse than an average grocery store. Kinda like they just selected everything off whichever corporate beer distributor they subscribe to’s product offering card and called it s day. There is a better offering literally down the block. Cleanliness: The men’s restroom was totaled. I’ll forgo a description of the floor and leave it at a pile of wet napkins in the sink. I know that patrons make the mess, but I went in after some guy from the kitchen, and on a second visit 20 minutes later, it was in the same condition. Food: When you put your napkin on top of a barely touched plate of food and the server picks it up without saying a word, you know bad food is the norm. Possibly the worst meatball sandwich I’ve ever had. Picture a cheap store-quality roll, hosting a few dry(very dry) meatballs, blanketed in that wallpaper-paste cheap white goo cheese, and little more. If I hadn’t of read that there was marinara on the thing, I wouldn’t have know. I asked for more. Any amount more to add moisture to the thing. I got more — a ramekin of stone cold bland marinara sauce for a hot sandwich. Just turned bad to worse. That it was served with fries that just tasted off(old fryer oil?) made it a waste of $ 14.00. Why 2 stars then? As a cocktail bar, or a quick happy hour pint on the way home, I could see myself stopping in here. Only if I lived in the immediate area. Other than that — no thank you.

I have been here at least a dozen times with colleagues for happy hour. On at least half these occasions, the service has been rude to the point that I’ve walked out twice. I am here right now, and our group of 14 was shoved into a corner and yelled at by our server, who later returned and acted sweet as pie. Every time I come here I tell myself I won’t come back, maybe this time I’ll actually listen. I gave 2 stars because they do have a good happy hour and a few really great servers/bartenders.

Roosevelt Ale House has quickly become one of my favorite bars. The service is always good and friendly and they have a great beer list and food offerings. I’ve had the wings, burger, reuben, and chicken sandwich. All are tasty. Their food is never greasy. Their food is a couple notches above run of the mill bar food. The noise level can get a little high at times but hey, it’s a sports-ish bar, what do you expect? They have pool tables, are family friendly, and are always good to serve up a cold Manny’s. I’d recommend them to most anyone. Happy hour is M-F 3−6pm. They have $ 3 select beers, $ 4 house wine, and several discounted food items.

My running group had the holiday party here this year. The organizer and the coordinator worked out a deal with Roosevelt Ale House. We were able to get buffet style(salad, sandwich, appetizers, desserts, salsa and chips, unlimited water) for $ 11 per person, kids under 12 were free. They didn’t close the business for our holiday party. However, I feel the entire place was full of approximately 100 runners. Food was not bad at all. My favorite was the fried cheesy rice ball which I don’t know the real name on the menu. Their sandwich was also surprisingly good. I was very happy with how much I paid and how much I ate. They were also very accommandating about the facility. We were able to play slide show from their TV. It was a cozy place for 100 runners. We sure all enjoyed the time there!

Get the nachos! They have Newcastle as well which makes this chick happy. It’s not on tap, but that’s just fine. Service here is also great. Ryan is great and plays awesome music… at least in my opinion! Pretty sure it’s something like Brand New pandora station :)
