The scenery is inviting, tv placements on point especially during game five of the NBA Finals. On to the wait staff, polite however, inefficient. Our salads brought out with the main course instead of before the main course. One steak center cut ordered medium well cooked medium rare on one half and medium well on the other with cold mashed potatoes. The ribeye ordered medium received half well done and burnt. The best part of my meal were the four asparagus not burnt black. To add to the disappointment the order of bread we asked for when we got our water was served after we were done with picking through our meals cold with no butter. One high note the Margarita Pizza was on point. Stay away from the steak. Guess we should have got the mini tacos.

The nacho, pizza and fish tacos were delicious. The dark beers were very good. We were even give a taste of their summer ale, very refreshing. Only in town for a visit, but if i lived here i would eat here often. Great service and good food, what more can you ask for in a restaurant.

Came here last night as a last minute thing on Sunday. Everything seems to close super early on Sunday’s here in Seattle, & were from out of town. To our surprise it said they closed at 10 pm, got there at 9:30& the nice waiter greeted us and let us dine in. He never rushed us even after 10 pm passed. My pizza was actually really good and it was a good size for $ 11! It was a quick walk from our hotel.

My husband and I came here on Saturday night, the night of our wedding because we were staying nearby at the fairmont. The happy hour food was awesome, the drinks were good and our service was nice. My husband ended up leaving his credit card at the restraunt. We called the next morning and the host has told us her manager went through all the bins and his card wasn’t there. She was also super rude on the phone. She was a skinny asain host working on Sunday morning. She also didn’t greet us when we came back in the next day. We decided since we live over an hour away we would stop by the bar on our way out of town, and sure enough his credit card was there after we checked again. Please train your employees not to give false information to your customers. A lot of time and stress could’ve been resolved. Needless to say, don’t leave a credit card here either.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, the beer is great(especially the Hop Bomb), and I’ve loved every item on the menu. ^__^

Decent bar food, decent beers, decent cocktails, decent service. Nothing earth-shatteringly special, but nothing to hate either. Decent. It’s a legitimate option for happy hour when it’s warm and sunny out because you can sit out on the patio, although based on experience, service tends to be a bit slow in this area of the restaurant. Happy hour food is what you might expect: the uninspiring bar nachos with a few chunks of meat, the average chicken fingers, and other pretty standard items along those lines. I’ve had lunch here once and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the fish tacos and a cup of their chicken tortilla soup. The tacos were a good size and had real fish. Good flavor. The soup was tasty, and I appreciated the amount of shredded chicken I got in it. I remember having some sort of Cajun-style pasta with chicken and andouille sausage from here once when they catered for my office, too. It smelled so good! Its cream sauce was very rich, and it had a really nice kick. One annoying thing about this place, though, is that it doesn’t have its own restrooms. Restrooms are outside of the restaurant, shared with other businesses in the building. It’s a little far, regardless of where you end up sitting.

I am giving this place two stars because food was actually decent. However service was below average. We walked in around 5:40pm, and there were five receptionists chit chatting in the front. Took them a while to notice us since they were so busy having fun. The lady who brought us in threw menu on the table and started walking out right away before we sat down, and she almost ran into me on her way out and while I was walking towards my seat. She said nothing about it. Later on, I saw two staff almost kissing each other at the back and a bunch of staff still chatting. I don’t know what their manager is doing, but it seems like this place is overstaffed at that very moment. Waitress was polite at first and refilled our drinks. But she billed us way too fast and basically threw receipts onto the table. Staff there are just extremely cold and unfriendly. No one thanked us on our way out, despite there were still a lot of them at the front. In general, food is good. But I don’t think service can be this cold for any business.

Decent place for a beer after work. Bartenders and wait staff are well versed in what’s been brewed on site. And their own brews are great! Great location, great beer, good food, excellent service. The food is good, not great but the other things make up for it. It’s pretty much standard chain food.

I held an event with about 15 people — in the Rainy Day Room. The room was great — set-up like I requested and a good size for the group. The vegetarians and carnivores were happy with the street taco bar — which were really tasty and kind of fun. The beer and wine were fine — and the in-house root beer is ok. I was most disappointed with our one and only waiter who had a hard time keeping up with apparently no help available. I have selfishly enjoyed that most servers seek out the(paying) host and makes sure my glass is full — this waiter clearly missed that lesson. I’ll follow-up with the group manager and find out what happened. The response will determine if I have another event here — or not.

With Rock Bottom you get what you expect: – Helpful, friendly service – Lots of TVs for football viewing – Beer smell(everywhere) – Average pub food – Not super clean Stick with staples like Nachos, wings, etc. and you will be fine! In this case, you also get a great location across from the 5th Avenue Theatre if you’re looking for a place before or after the show.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for some refreshments and were told to seat ourselves. The wait staff took forever to acknowledge us, while four other employees passed by without making eye contact. Upon reflection, I think we found the only section of the establishment that was busy, hence the poor service. Was it our wait person’s fault? Maybe, but it was more like management/leadership’s issue for allowing the situation to develop. When we eventually got served, the food was decent and the beer was tasty– above average yet nothing special for the price point.

Popped in after a game one night. Service was great. Housemade pretzels were awesome and so was my sangria Margarita drink! I didn’t care too much for the sauce that came with the sirloin tips, but otherwise everything was great.

This place is the definition of mediocre. It’s a nice business lunch spot or a happy hour spot or a place to watch the game. It’s not bad but it’s not great either. Food can be hit or miss. It’s often times very bland or over salted. The pretzel appetizer is consistently good. The beer is usually very good as wel. You will need a code for the bathroom.

With a recommendation from the nearby hotel we were staying, we enjoyed this delicious Brewery. The burgers were delicious and cooked exactly as requested, a variety of menu options, friendly service. We will definitely come back.

Seattle’s version of the national brewpub and restaurant chain, whose corporate management fortunately gives the local brewmasters a lot of freedom to create their own brews. The bar was surprisingly thinly-populated for a Saturday night, so service was prompt and attentive. Beers tried: — Helles Czech Pilsner. 5.3% ABV, 25IBU. Slightly dark gold, light head. Nice grassy-hop nose and taste, typical of Czech lagers. Unmemorable but perfectly drinkable. — Volksweizen American Wheat IPA.(Now there’s a terminological mish-mosh!) 5.2%, 22IBU. Slightly cloudy gold, light head. Slight malty nose. Thin wheat and malt taste; the ginger and orange peel notes mentioned in the menu description eluded me. Hopping does not approach what would generally be regarded as an IPA level. — Hop Bomb West Coast IPA. 6.8%m 70IBU. Clear gold, light head. Slight hop nose. The front has a definite burst of bitter and floral hops, but fades quickly. — Rain City Red Ale. 5.7%, 30IBU. Clear red-brown, halo head. Mild malty nose. Nice roast malt front, not at all sweet, with little hop presence. — Schwarzbier Dark Lager. Near-opaque dark brown, with red highlights. Light head. Slight roast malt nose. Rich malt taste, with little or no hop presence. A nice try at a Dunkel profile. — «The Answer» IPA. 5.6%, 65IBU. Medium gold, light head going to halo. Nose rather weak, but lovely first burst in the mouth.

Stopped here for lunch while in Seattle. Rock Bottom is a small chain with an eye towards specialty brewed beer. I think that for beer, this is a good place to go, but the food end of things is nothing special. Nothing bad, just nothing really outstanding on the food front. I would call this a solid spot that you know will be ok with a selection of food and beverages that will meet pretty much anyones needs.

I was only in town for the day on business and so stopped in here with a couple coworkers. Sat out in the patio since it was such a nice day out. The food: Lobster and Shrimp Enchiladas Really, it should just be called shrimp enchiladas since there was barely noticeable amounts of actual lobster meat. The lobster was amounted to maybe a ¼ or less of an adult sized lobster claw. Flavor and seasoning was good but I most likely will not order this ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone. For a meal that was $ 15.99 I expect more!

Great selection of boutique beers I enjoyed both the rain city red ale and a pint of polar pioneer pale ale but have to say the red ale was nicer. Jeffrey had a great knowledge of the tap beers and made the decision on which was the better option much easier. I had the fish n chips it was nice but not as good as the beer. This is a great place to relax after a day exploring Seattle or after watching a game at CenturyLink or Safeco stadium

Came here cause it was late. We were seated right away. Nice ambience. Our waiter answered all our questions. Wife got the Cobb salad. Big! Enough to share. I got their BBQ chicken sandwich. Very good. Nothing special. Since we are on our anniversary celebration week. Wife got a merlot and I got their«big @ss mug» of a local pale ale. If it’s late and you just got into town, give them a try.
