I love this spot for lunch. The meatloaf special is my go-to sandwich, and never disappoints. Super friendly staff too.

Tried to order their special but they ran out of sourdough. I settled for the Rueben. Not bad! Way more sourkraut than corned beef but I enjoyed it. Really nice ladies behind the counters and it didn’t take too long. Will go back again to try their special.

Close to my office, it’s a great place to grab a quick bite. Had the meatloaf special today and was very pleased. Quick and friendly service. Good prices.

A good take on the Reuben, but probably not a challenger for best in the city. The staff is fast and friendly, exactly what you want in a lunch spot. An unassuming storefront makes it easy to miss, but worth stopping in. May return if in the area.

Best sandwich in downtown Seattle. Fresh Boars Head meat, thick sliced bread and FAST! A+ highly recommended

When I see the sign for Boar’s Head deli meats at a sandwich shop, I’m easily sold. Love the selection they have here. Every component of their sandwiches is made with great quality ingredients. From the bread to the meat, it’s hard to find something to complain about. The food is nothing to write home about but it’s just like a sandwich I would make for myself at home. I also like that they allow you to do half a sandwich and either a side salad or soup. I love hefty sandwiches like the ones they have here but can never eat a full one! This is a perfect alternative. The place is tiny and there’s not really any seating but there are plenty of places within a block radius of here where you can take your food and eat it. Service is consistently speedy and friendly. Overall, a solid lunch place.

Amazing sandwiches, it’s my first time out in Seattle and so far the two sandwiches I’ve had recommended are insanely good.

BOAR’S HEAD! Seriously, this place knows how to make a good sandwich. It’s just unfortunate that there’s little beyond that to set this place apart, because they’re so rarely busy when I visit(maybe 6 customers max, of all the times I’ve visited). Of course, this does mean that if you’re in a hurry, you can likely pick up a sandwich without much of a wait.(They’re not JJ’s fast, but you won’t be waiting very long either.)

Over priced. If you have to buy gluten free bread; just keep in mind you’ll pay a bit extra. I agree they’re friendly and nice.

If you’re trying to stay away from chains and want a great, fresh deli sandwich, go here. Not only do they use some of the best deli meat out there(boars head) –the ingredients are refreshingly FRESH! Nice employees too. That’s a bonus!

Rex’s was in a word, underwhelming. Though the service was great – fast and friendly, the food they were serving was nothing to write home about. It’s also a bit intimidating for a first-timer, as there is no true menu when it comes to the sandwiches. The customer picks the meat, bread-type, cheese, and toppings from a short list. Some pre-designed options would be nice and add to the convenience of a restaurant for whom convenience is already their chief goal.

Amazing service from the employees, they recognize me, welcome me and ask me for the options on my sandwich and always service with a smile. The food is great considering its a small tiny Deli. This is a true small business and they do everything in house. They offer coffee/espresso, beverages, salads(omg try their dill potato salad!), soups, sandwiches, and more!

They have great Boar’s Head meats and they just added a variety of gluten free breads to their menu. I may be gluten free, but that doesn’t mean I have to go without a thick corned beef or pastrami sandwich. Always polite, prompt, friendly service. Always clean. Always good.

This is a great spot for a quick lunch or snack grab. While the sandwiches and salads are basic, they are consistently good. They also have variety — soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty coffee drinks. A dependable go-to.

Great little deli. Fast friendly service with sandwiches made to order with Boar’s Head meats, decent selection of chips and snack items like cookies and candy bars. Delicious egg salad, etc. Lunch for under $ 10 makes me happy and this place on my regular rotation. Only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is that their drink selection is weak, as in no diet coke in a can which is my go-to lunch choice. Also just as an fyi — very little room to eat there, I always take back to office so not an issue for me.

I love: — boar’s head — sprouts — made-to-order sandos — quick, friendly service during lunch breaks Rex’s has all of the above. You walk in, get greeted, you choose your bread, meat, cheese, spreads and veggies and you’re done! The half is $ 3.99 and a whole is $ 6.99 — both times I’ve ordered a half, which was a big half sando, but I think next time I’ll need a whole since it’s so delish.

Rad! I was starving and only had 10 mins to spare before a downtown meeting. I spot the Rex’s sign and pop in. Being a big fan of Boar’s Head products, I was stoked to chow down on a roast beef on rye. It took no more than 30 seconds to slap together my half sandwich and I really appreciated the 4 or 5 stools in the window for folks to dine in. Prices were cheap and while this isn’t a snazzy deli, they are perfect for a quick lunch break or snack. I loved the Odwalla case too. They had my favorite flavors!
