Went here for dinner and it was pretty empty. Service was good and fast. The food wasn’t that great. I had the chicken tikka masala, and my girlfriend had a vegetable rice dish and the fresh spinach lentil soup. The soup was watery and not very flavorful, we added lemon and pepper and that didn’t help much. The vegetables were undercooked and kind of bland, even though it was spicy. The chicken tikka masala was kinda watery and not that flavorful as well. You can do better.

I tend to not write reviews based on delivery service, but this is a special case. We ordered our food through GrubHub. After our order arrived and we sat down, we realized they severely messed up our order. The Beef Samosas arrived — but that’s about it. They delivered the wrong soup(we ordered Mulligatawny Vegetable Soup and they gave us a plain red lentil soup), and also wrongly delivered something else that definitely did not look like a vegetable kofta. On top of the wrong dishes sent, the coconut curry and the garlic naan were COMPLETELYMISSING. I contacted GrubHub who contacted Qazi’s. Qazi’s blatently lied to GrubHub and stated that they had corrected our order and sent us the correct dishes. This definitely did not happen, because I would not be writing this review. And I’m completely mystified as to why they would lie about such thing. Qazi refused to refund any of our order and attempted to make us look liked liars in the process. What a horrible way to treat a customer.

Wow just wow. This place is ridiculous. We took a chance on this place when we usually order from India bistro. Our delivery order was incorrect, spilled in the bag, and an hour late. Not to mention the food was far less than good. Stay away from this place.

This ranks at the bottom of my Indian food experiences in terms of both cuisine and service in Seattle and I have eaten at most of them. Not only did they get my order wrong and have to remake it, they also would not put a bit of extra rice in my to go box without charging me extra. This place only stays open because there are no other Indian joints nearby. Cheapskates.

This place is horrible, and I feel disappointed. I’ve actually been eating at this place a long time and I’m not sure why, it seems to get worse every visit. First, the meat quality: yuck. I always order chicken and it always comes with skin on it and it’s thigh, not breast. I’m not a fan of chicken thigh, and I also don’t appreciate a place trying to pass of thigh as breast. I guess if you want to eat weird chicken, go here. The other thing is the chicken seems to be the tandoori chicken, chopped up, that they throw into any dish, it’s gross. Second, the staff and owner are extremely argumentative. They should probably attend a customer service symposium. They have constant excuses about why food takes so long to come out, or why the meat looks weird. Dishes are cold when they come out, and I’m pretty sure if you order anything that would be featured in their buffet, it’s not made to order. They are a restaurant, of course you are busy, just be nice and have a higher standard for meat and ingredients. It makes me sad that the owners don’t strive to have a better establishment and make better use of their location. I feel bad for the staff that they have to work in such a hell hole, but I guess that’s their choice. In sum, if you go just be prepared for dismissive staff that will argue and laugh at you when you have a sincere concern. Also be prepared for meat that looks like unprocessed animal parts and has horrible texture.

The food is neither authentic Indian food nor it tastes good! The curry was watery and veggies were uncooked.

Only had them through Eat24 up until more recently when I ordered the lamb lentil soup for carry out. The soup was horribly salty and the lamb was liquified into the rest of the mush. I prefer whole lentils, a balanced flavor profile and actual tiny chunks of lamb to bite into. I won’t be ordering here again because this is one of what has become several disappointing experiences with them. The Kheer wasn’t very good either… poor texture. The dining room has wonderful ambiance except for the proximity to the front door but this is just a constraint of the space itself. Gorgeous Indian paintings on the walls and a large buffet on the back wall. This is likely a great place for lunch buffet where multiple dishes can be sampled.

Some friends and I went in close to their closing time and they were super nice, great service. The food was delicious — the vegetable kofta, butter marsala, palak marsala, vindaloo, and tikka marsala! The garlic naan was also great. A convenient spot to sit or take out.

It was very difficult to eat there because the space smelled of body odor. Not once, but every time I have been there. Not sure why. The food is average with the chicken being a bit gamey.

Excellent selection on the buffet –including samosas and papadum. I also like that the buffet had extras like chai tea and gulab jamun dessert. Bread was made fresh and came out hot. I was surprised to see beef meatballs, but they were delicious.

I live in Queen Anne… whenever I’m craving Indian food this is my go-to. I’m embarrassed to admit how much I love their butter chicken. I know thats the most American dish — but its soooo good! They have other great curries here — but every time I got, can’t help but get some garlic naan and at least one order of the butter chicken. So flavorful and just a bit addicting :)

Buffet is AMAZING!!! 5 stars. Wandered in here with a friend for Sunday lunch. It is across from Roxys in Fremont. We had a random craving for Indian food. This restaurant does not look like much from the outside… but we were so pleasantly surprised coming in. There was a really tasty looking buffet spread. The gentleman at the front let us know the buffet was only 10.00. We piled our plates with delicious food and a few minutes later a basket of fresh naan appeared. The food was really good. 20 bucks for 2 for an Indian lunch feast. There were not very many people dining at 1pm on a Sunday. Wanted to write them a review so other people could know about this place too. A hidden gem. The service was great too! If you go back for more they take your first plate away. I recommend this place highly.

Holy cow! When I went in to order some takeout I got glared at by the older guy at the counter and the waiter wasn’t friendly either. I can’t comment on the food because I didn’t stay to order – I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable from the moment I walked in the door.

Came here for the lunch buffet, which was a standard mix of meat and vegetarian options. The food was a bit bland — the kind of spicy where it makes your nose run a bit, but without that much flavor — but not bad, and I know for buffets you’ve kind of got to keep the spiciness at the lowest common denominator. The two young guys working were pleasant, and kept my water promptly refilled the 2309439425 times I drained it. Chai included in the buffet was a nice touch. Yummy kheer! I love kheer and am always bummed when lunch buffets don’t have Indian desserts. Nothing to write home about, but worth the $ 10 for a decent lunch.

First visit. We ordered two curry specialties: one with chicken(5 stars) and another with lamb(4 stars). The food was ok. We both thought that the curries were a little watery. We love Indian Food and have had a fair share of it, so we kind of knew that they were… different from other places. Food was, in my opinion, spicier than other places. I eat spicy food. Correction, really really spicy food. Normally, 5-stars don’t do anything for me, but I did get the kick from their curry, which I liked. Oh and thumbs up for the huge portion of basmati rice. Our waiter was kind of intimidating. He had that poker face going on the whole time.

Great vegetarian options! The Mango Curry Vegetables are so good; perfect amount of sweetness. The large selection of Naan is really great too. We usually have the vegetable paneer naan; the bread is light and fluffy, stuffed full of veggies. The atmosphere is always peaceful and inviting. Great service, great food. Thanks Qazis, you’re our favorite Indian food place in Seattle. Yum :)

This is excellent, high-quality Indian food. I do have a caveat though, you may have to deal with a brainless server or two. We’ve been going here regularly for years and love the restaurant for its great Indian food but they have a hard time finding and retaining good servers. The service can be a bit slow and you may be dealing with somebody who’s brand new and couldn’t reason their way out of a paper bag. But I still give it 5 stars and love to eat here because the manager and long-term employees usually step-in and help when the new guy/gal is flailing. The food is really good enough to make up for it. This is a place has nice acoustics and my wife can understand what I’m saying(it is a quiet restaurant)… a definite plus for us. They used to play genuine Indian raga music with tabla which I very much enjoyed. Lately they’ve been playing horrible elevator new age garbage. Please Qazi, dig up those raga CD’s and put them back into the player. Remember to visit their website and print out the online coupon. It must be printed, you can’t just show them your phone. We always forget to do this making it a little pricey, but the price is probably just right if you bring the coupon.

Second time I ordered from them I got sick after eating the food. — — — — — - The Lamb Tiki Masala at Qazi’s Indian Curry House had good flavour although it only a little meat in it and not much else, which is odd because the base price is for the dish with vegetables only, so you would expect that paying more would mean adding meat, not removing vegetables to add meat. I liked their coconut curry, I did not pay extra to add meat and it came with a ton of vegetables, however there was not much coconut flavor in the sauce and it was not very creamy. Overall we enjoyed the meal and would order delivery from them again.

I feel like I have the same experience every time I come to Qazi’s. At least they’re consistent! I love the food and the restaurant is cozy and warm. They have a great menu and prices are good. They know how to pack a punch with the spice level and the rice is some of the best I’ve had at an Indian restaurant. However, their service is always very slow. Every time I come here I am waiting around for them to take my drink order and they never ask if I want a refill on chai or another drink. It’s just odd to me. This is the case when they’re busy and when we are only one of two tables in the place. That aside, the restaurant is very good. If they could up their attentiveness in service I would have absolutely no complaints.

I went in with a small group of friends for dinner earlier this week, I hadn’t ever been before but since I love Indian food and I work in Fremont this place was on my list to try. I will not be returning. The food was great, it’s just a shame that the service was lacking. Our server was pretty much nonexistent, and when it was time to deal with the check we were told our party of five could only have the check split three ways. Or something, I’m still not sure what the problem was because when we got our checks there was one for each of us. As we were paying, the woman was not friendly at all and kept demanding to know if all of us had paid. I didn’t feel comfortable in the restaurant, and I felt out of place which is a feat since eating in Japan I grew accustomed to feeling out of place. I’m sad because I was really looking forward to a new place in Fremont, alas I must continue my search.
