Signage from the street is misleading and didn’t let me know that it closed at midnight on Saturdays, so now my car is stuck in there till Monday since they aren’t open on Sundays. We’ll see if I end up paying this $ 35 fee.

I’ve parked here several times and it’s been great…
Well tonight I get back to my car after work and someone popped open my window and got in my car! They even went through my trunk. Luckily they didn’t take anything that I noticed but someone broke into my car!
On my way out I told the lady at the booth. I said «I know you don’t have liability for this but someone broke into my car!» She said «I’m sorry but you should have parked closer to the exits.» She then asked me for my credit card to pay for parking there!
What a joke! Don’t park here if you value your vehicle safety.

I, too, fell victim to the «late release» scam. I parked here because of the $ 8 evening rate. Got back to my car before midnight, but didn’t try to exit the garage until 12:30am because I needed to let the drink I had wear off while I had some water. I pulled up to the exit and it was closed and locked up. The guy was still there but told me to call the number for late release. 5 minutes later a guy gets there and opens it after writing me a $ 35 ticket. So basically I was trapped in the garage unless I paid. Shouldn’t they check the garage to make sure they aren’t locking people in when they close? Their signage is deceiving and I plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

The location is great, sure, but the signage is MISLEADING and INCOMPLETE. DO NOT PARK HERE, and help me show them that others who are clear, consistent and transparent are more deserving of your money.
The story: I pulled in for a concert at Triple Door a few weeks ago, planning to pay $ 8 for the evening rate (see signage photo). What some of the signs DON’T say is that «close» means midnight.
So, when I returned at 12:15 am, my car — and quite a few others, given the exit line and other people who showed up after I did — were given a citation by Republic Parking, requiring a $ 35 payment (thankfully, not on TOP of the $ 8). This is a SCAM and clearly a money-​making venture for them.
Had the sign been clear about closing at midnight, I would have either parked elsewhere or returned in time. Shame on you Republic Parking!!!

$ 8 for all day parking during the weekend and the garage is located close to all the amenities and especially to pike place market. Within walking distance of everything. Great location.

It’s like your average parking garage. I always park here for 5^th Avenue Theatre shows, because it’s safe, the parking attendant is always friendly (even at 10pm), it’s close to the theater, and the spaces are nice and roomy. I like the layout of this garage, like how there are wings on the multiple levels rather than just one large rectangle, because then there are nice, more spacious corner spots.
