High quality, custom table at with a crazy good price tag!
After remodeling our kitchen/​living/​dining room, we needed a 10ft dining table to fill our new dining space. We wanted something industrial to compliment our modern design and I’m a flippin crazy person when it comes to tables that have stupid s**t underneath them that you can hit your knees on. After a ton of OCD research and visiting just about every furniture store ever looking for a sturdy table w/​o any leg-​mangling crap under it, we ended up getting a custom made, reclaimed wood table at Plank & Grain.
The purchase process was fun and easy. The folks that work there are knowledgeable and friendly. They dealt with my husband (an inappropriate child in a grown man’s body) and my dad (aka Questions McGee) like a champ. They made excellent recommendations based on our lifestyle (lazy) and needs (dining and playing games). We opted for a rougher finish that didn’t hide the natural blemishes in the old-​timey wood so now we can ding up the table all we want and it looks like it’s supposed to be that way.
Plank & Grain’s pricing would be great if their furniture was stock. Considering the fact that they’re 100% custom, the pricing is an incredible value. Brave the awful street parking and visit them!
