I’m an Amazonian, and this little weekly spring/summer popup is placed right in the center of our little world, right between our Day 1 Buildings, and in the courtyard between them. What makes this little affair worth checking it, is two fold. 1. It’s an opportunity for those in South Lake Union to experience Pike Place Market, and for Pike Place Market vendor to get additional exposure, by hundreds of people working at Amazon. 2. It’s an opportunity for some vendors that aren’t regulars at the market, to have a temporary setup, again exposure to lots of people who long to try something home made, artisan crafts, and in this case, mostly food related wares. If you are in the neighborhood, and want to do some grocery shopping, or flowers. or honey, or tamales; this is the place.

A smaller version of the Pike place market, but portable. This one popped up at south lake Union offering the same great seasonal produce Seattleites can get at the main market, without the tourists and crowds near the fish tossers. Nice little farmers market.
