Than brothers is consistent. Phở, at a reasonable price with good broth. I love the cream puff they give you with your order. The service isn’t bad and it’s fast. You’ve got to go the register to pay, butts won’t tell you that. On the other hand nobody is rushing you. This place is clean and bright. There’s plenty of seating. It was easy to come in and have a conversation with a friend. They give you all the right stuff, Sriracha, chili oil, and hoisin sauce at the table. Of course with your soup you’ll also get plenty of basil, sprouts, and limes. There is one vegetarian and one chicken option, the rest are all variations of beef products. And as I said their beef broth is pretty good. But know that’s it. This place is phở and phở only.

Always delicious, fast, reliable. Nice people who work hard to make customers happy every time. I’ve been a loyal customer for more than 10 years.

I’ve been coming here for my phở fix for years and have never felt the need to leave a review, since it seems to be pretty common knowledge that phở than brothers do it best in the Seattle area. Their phở is consistently delicious, reasonably priced, and one of my top comfort foods. The reason I’m leaving a review now is because this location recently got renovated and is now quite nice and has… dun dun dun… a few parking spaces on the side. Unheard of in Seattle! So now to add to all the other reasons to love PTB, we now have the convenience factor. Hurray!

Phở and only Phở — PERFECT! They know what they are doing and they do it very well … in all 14 locations I’d assume.

Than Brothers is pretty good. I want to go between a 3 – 4 but I’ll go with a 4. This is a new location and it has a lot of seating. To get here going southbound on Aurora, you have to do a U-turn at 77th. The tables are still surprisingly cramped together for being such a large space. The soup is good. I like the broth and the noodles and meat. It is good phở. Than Brothers is a solid choice and they are fast. Good tea and Vietnamese coffee, too! The medium is huge. The large is giant. The XL is just ridiculous. They have a parking lot but it fills up fast.

Great place! We pick up from here all the time. If you have a cold or it’s a cold and damp day — go to Phở Than Brothers. I like Phở Ga — the chicken phở. A large is perfect for 2 people. Also, it also comes with cream puffs… not that I have ever had one because my boys eat them before I have ever had a chance to try one.

Want phở? It is all phở here. Basic, simple, one veggie, one chicken, and a ton of beef options. They’re fast. It is good. Not fancy at all. Just delicious.

This phở restaurant left me leaving with a good impression :’) –Menu is limited to basically just phở & drinks(meaning that they specialize in phở) –I LOVELOVELOVE how they give cream puffs that you can either eat as an appetizer or desert. You can really taste that the cream puffs are homemade and not like the store bought ones from Costco/Safeway. –The portions for the phở are really big: O My family of 5 ordered 4XL bowls of phở and that turned out to be a huge mistake, but also a blessing in disguise. The noodles are hard, but not hard to the point that you’ll hurt your teeth pulling on them. They had a unique texture. The soup was alright, I didn’t really taste anything special about it. Large portions of meat and onions are given, but tendons are rare. I would definitely try a smaller size if I’m coming back and would go to the University District location(prices are cheaper). This is my second fav phở place(first one is in sf lol)

This original location is still the best Than Bros of all. Love the soup! Parking can be a challenge sometimes. They didn’t used to take credit cards, but now they do with ipads. The cream buff is still the same as years & years ago, very consistent.

Been going here for years! By far my favorite phở place to come to. The service seems to have gotten a lot faster than I remember, which is always a plus. Prices have gone up a whole lot since I’ve last been here though. Understandable, but if another place can keep it under $ 7, can’t they do the same?

I’ve tried many phở restaurants in Seattle, but I always go back to this one. The broth is just right as is the price. Throw a cream puff into the mix, and perfection!

Phở Than Brothers is by far some of the best phở in Seattle. The Aurora location is pretty similar to other locations. There’s probably more seating than most with an extra side room.

Huge cheap bowls of really good phở. Not much ambiance but it is our favorite phở chain.

I love this specific phở thanh location, because they accept card. The noodles are exceptionally different from other phở restaurants and the cream puff at the end is always nice.

I have to admit, I used to come to this establishment probably once every two weeks for over a year. During my time of going there, I would experience hit or miss consistency with the meals and questionable customer service. Today is the last day that I will be going to this particular Phở Than Brothers. As I’ve stated before, the customer service is questionable. The owner/manager that runs the establishment is a very nice older asian lady that is always very friendly to my fiancée and I. A majority of the workers that take the orders and present the food SUCK. Period. I don’t know what it is with them but they are never friendly and always seem frustrated when we ask for more water or want a specific request. For example, my fiancée specifically asked them to leave out the tofu from her veggie phở. Guess what we got? Tofu, and ton of it I want to add. Another instance was when she asked for a meatball phở with extra brisket. Instead he asked if she meant a #6, the #6 is not even close to meatball or brisket. She repeated meatball phở with extra brisket and guess what she got? The #6. It’s hard to communicate with them too because they don’t speak English very well. After a while you just get fed up with the attitude and the inconsistent meals and service. I will never come here again.

Great phở restaurant on Aurora. It is probably one of the better phở places that I’ve tried in Seattle. With the extra large phở bowl + extra noodles, you can easily split this between two people. My husband and I ordered this and it probably came out to the portion size of two medium bowls. We probably saved about $ 7 by doing it this way. The broth was pretty tasty and the noodles very scrumptious. I didn’t feel too thirsty after the meal so I don’t think they put too much MSG in their broth. They also bring out cream puffs so it was a unexpected surprise. The service was super fast and everything was super affordable. I highly recommend that you come here on a cold winter day for some good old soup and noodles. Yum yum!

My husband took me here for my first«Phở» experience. I was slightly nervous due to the area of town and wasn’t expecting the mind blowing yumminess. Although I had no past experience to base it on, I was super impressed! The broth was delicious and all the veggies fresh and crisp. I’m not a huge eater by any means and I finished my entire serving and was eyeing my husbands(but it had meat and I’m vegetarian)! Also the cream puffs for desert were melt in your mouth goodness! Since this experience I have been trying Phở places all over Portland and have yet to find anything that comes close to comparing. Now I’m considering moving to Seattle for their Phở!

Simple, delicious and it hit the spot. There isn’t much décor, it’s fairly plain, but I don’t need too much as long as the service is friendly and food is good. This phở place is as good as any I’ve been to in Vancouver, and those delicious cream puffs make it just a bit better. I wish they had banh mi, but you can’t win them all!

I was in the Greenlake neighborhood looking for dinner on Wednesday night when I spotted another Phở Than Brothers and thought I’d step in for a quick and cheap dinner. Let me cut right to the chase on this one. I think based upon other reviews and the people I saw there that perhaps I either got a bad bowl of phở or maybe they reserve their mediocre bowls of broth for non-regulars like me. Regardless, the broth I had was the least flavorful bowl of soup that I’ve had from any phở shop ever. It tasted more of hot water than it did of anything approaching beef. I would almost imagine they gave me a vegetarian broth but even at that level this broth was as close to being flavorless as possible. Adding insult to injury, the condiments were wilted and rather sad to look at. The broth like substance was hot but no amount of heat could save the broth from being bland. The meat used was plentiful but again, that didn’t save the bowl from being a flavorless experience. I would like to think I could return and find a better bowl of soup but somehow I don’t think I’ll ever need to go back as there are phở shops practically on every corner in Seattle. Meh. This place is a dive! NOT good location, and the inside is very run down. Its only redeeming quality, is great food. Aurora may be not a street for classy events, but this part of the street is especially dirty. I felt like I was walking into a run down part of the city that requires urban development. I worried for the safety of my car and the contents inside. The restaurant itself is spacious and has plenty of room, but the air is stale, and the carpets stained, and the bathrooms are old and grimy. The fish tank doesn’t even have fish in it, its just water without any decoration or life. HOWEVER, the food is amazing and the staff is friendly. Phở doesn’t get much better than this. Fast, cheap, and very healthy. I only tried the vegetarian phở and meatball phở, but it tasted just like any other phở restaurant I’ve been to. Its not bad, its not great, but its fast and convenient. Meh.
