We are addicted to their fresh spring rolls. They family that runs this place are so sweet and kind. It makes us happy to support this local business.

Our neighborhood phở place — these guys are amazing! So kind and friendly — they remembered me and my family on our second visit! Whether we get take-out or eat in, we are never disappointed. My teenage sons love the beef brisket and bahn mi, while I am a huge fan of the potstickers and bun. Last time I went I wanted something modified from the menu and they were very accomodating and made sure I was happy with it! We eat here all the time now and are enjoying becoming regulars!

Was in the mood for Phở so Unilocal’ed spots in Seattle as I felt like trying a new spot. Phở An had great reviews so I gave it a go. I was super underwhelmed with the Phở Ga I ordered. The broth was so-so and the flavors were not there for Phở. I would skip this Phở spot and go to Phở Than Brothers in Seattle — one of my favorite sports in the city. Gave 2-stars as the service was pretty good and the food came out fast.

The food and staff are fantastic! One is definitely delicious, and since the shop is still open you can probably assume we didn’t eat the owners: P We ordered the #23 w/oxtail. Super tender and perfectly cooked. The broth wasn’t overpowered by salt or ‘fake meat’ flavoring. You could tell they let this simmer for a loooong time to give it that nice meaty goodness. If you need a little more sodium in your broth use the fish paste. I like my phở on the spicy side, so I added red pepper and siracha. #NomNomNom Our meal started with an order of egg rolls and fried dumplings(chicken). Both were cooked fresh and served hot and steaming. The egg rolls were a particular favorite. They looked more like spring rolls in shape, but were definitely an egg roll. The fried dumplings weren’t too doughy either! They made sure to get a nice meat /dumpling ratio. We also splurged a bit and ordered Thai Iced Tea. Not only did the owner ‘buy’ us the tea cause we had to wait a lil bit to pay(which he totally didn’t have to do but it was super nice of him) it was crazy delicious! You could smell the roasted tea they used to make the drink, and they put in just a splash of cream. It wasn’t overpowered by milk the way some places like to make it. We’re located in Capital Hill, but would totally drive out to Phở An on the regular after such a great lunch experience. Be warned: They definitely get busy around 1pm. We got there a bit closer to 11:30am /12pm and it was fine. Most of the tables were empty. There isn’t much to do in the area around Phở An, but that’s not their fault ^_~ Come for delicious food, then go home and take a phở induced power nap.

This is thus far the best phở I have had in Seattle!(not that I have explored a ton, but still) The broth is very flavorful to the point you do not need to add anything or just very little. The small is huge and it comes with a lot of broth and a decent amount of noodles. I had the phở ga and the chicken was very edible. I have a tough time eating chicken at some of these places because the color and texture can be very unappealing, but here it was all white meat and in more of a shredded format(not completely, but not the chick rounds from some). Finally, the small seemed a little bigger than normal which I have no complaints about! Well done on all accounts. We also got the chicken friend rice which was delicious. It has almost a thai or teppanyaki flavor to it, which was appreciated. 2 bowls of phở and an order of the rice were $ 21. No complaints anywhere.

It’s the bomb. Good quality healthy decent price. The quality could be upped a bit but for the price it’s right. A nice safe option for me and my vegetarian girlfriend on nights we don’t want to try too hard but want to enjoy our meal.

I don’t know what’s better: the food or the service. We feel like total regulars, the staff remember our order every time and know where we like to sit! Great options for vegetarians/vegans and food is very fresh. Perfect for chilly or rainy Seattle days(I.e. Lots of days to want to come here!) They also have parking, which we all know can be hard to find in Seattle.

OMG! I finally found a great phở restaurant near my home! Their soup, the broth, is just perfect, not too salty which is bad for you, and clear without any taste of msg or oher flavor enhancers. I had a round steak phở. It is a little small portion but considering their price range, I can’t really complain at all. This is a MUSTGO place when you crave some hot noodle soup! I will be back for sure!

Mr. A’s Famous 5 Point 5 Star Review Portion: 5 star(it’s hard to mess this up with Phở. The large was a decent size and I left content. For reference, I’m 6’3″ and 215lbs) Atmosphere: 4 star(nothing to write home about but seemed clean) Service: 5 Stars(employees are awesome. Particularly this one guy who is super friendly) Food: 5 Stars(Best broth. I wish they added more chicken though because at times it felt as if it was all noodle) Value: 5 Stars(Would come back again. For $ 8 and some change for a large bowl you’ll leave content)

There aren’t many under $ 10 restaurants that make me want to do a happy dance. Unlike most plazas restaurants in Seattle, this one has two entry points in the front and rear of the restaurant which ALSO feature street parking AND a private lot so you don’t need to worry about competing for parking, or parallel parking. The owner is a vibrant, young and friendly man who always seats us within 1 minute, gets menus to us within 1 minute, and gets food to us in under 15 minutes. I would guarantee this on the restaurant’s behalf, but I don’t want to make any potential customers angry if this doesn’t happen for you. Most reviewers stated this before, so I’ll just write that the appetizers are as fresh as they come. I’ve never had a shrimp potsticker with whole fresh shrimp before, nor have I been able to become completely full off of two appetizers. In fact, if no one has mentioned it before, the banh mi(Vietnamese sandwich) is only $ 3, and on the appetizer list!!! You can easily order three appetizers and main dish for under $ 20.

Love this place. The staff are awesome, place is appealing and the food top notch. I ordered the Brisket with Meatballs Phở, and man was it a great portion. Bowl comes out with a really tasty broth, meat is cooked just right… brilliant. I also ordered a portion of the Egg Rolls which came out super crispy, a great accompaniment to this awesome soup. Highly recommend this if you have a craving. Parking around the back is a little awkward to get into but worth it.

My favorite Phở place in Seattle. Tasty broth. I haven’t tried the chicken yet(most places’ have such dry chicken) though. Also they have great service which is unheard of for a phở place. Lovely owner, super friendly, and they actually check up on you when you’re eating which is not something I expect at phở, but a pleasant surprise.

Fresh rolls(regular) have vermicelli noodles, basil, lettuce, bean sprouts, shrimp, and pork slices. 2 rolls cut in half. Good but a bit thin in diameter compared to other places. Phở noodles were the perfect consistency! Not so soft that they break when picked up and not chewy to the point that you feel like you’re fishing when a noodle is halfway to your stomach on one end while still in your mouth on the other. You know that feeling! Phở beef was good too! Not chewy or overcooked. Chewed effortlessly to satiate my hunger. Phở broth was a bit on the light side(but then again we went around dinner time). Basil was green, fresh, and flawless. Very crisp! Bean sprouts on the other hand could have seen better days – a bit browned. Overall an affordable place for a warm and hearty meal!

Nice little spot down the way from work. It seems to be pretty popular with the locals. Everytime I’ve been in, there have been customers who seem to be well known by the owners, to the point that the customers essentially say«I’ll have the usual.» I’ve heard good things about the Phở, though I’ve yet to try it. I’ve had the spring rolls and those were pretty darn good. Nicely wrapped and with good flavor. I especially enjoyed the barbecue beef spring rolls. I’ve had the sandwiches on two occasions and, while the flavor is quite good, I find myself wanting more meat and more of those crispy veggies, with just a touch less sauce. The meat/veggie to bread ratio us just off for me. I’ll definitely stop in again to sample more of the menu.

If you’re in need of a solid phở place to eat at with quick service, visit this place. My family loves eating here from time to time, and usually, we order phở along with the tasty banh mi and such. If you do take out, you don’t have to wait very long. As for dining in, the service is quick and friendly and your bowl of phở will most likely arrive quicker than your appetizer sometimes(depending on what you ordered). I enjoy number 18 a lot, with the variety of meat it offers. For a small size, the portion is great. There’s an abundance of meat with the noodles and the broth is quite delicious. As for the spring rolls, these were all right. Nothing above average but the peanut sauce was a nice blend of sweet and salty. Another upside to this place is that it does stay open late(till like 9pm on weekdays). So make a stop here if you are in hunger for yummy phở.

First time to try Vietnamese pancake and first day school’s dinner Marks:6/10 Appearance: Price: not sure need to double check Review: at the beginning, when I ate I felt pretty good because it has onions, shrimps and meat inside. I feel satisfied. The pancake tastes does not look like korean style. I dunno how to explain but it fits Vietnamese style. However, it is too oily and gets full easily. Maybe because I ordered the noodles as well. The phở noodles are extremely small #foodoftheday#相機食先#hkig#food#foodie#vietnamese#seattle#lakecity#foodblogger#foodtravelers#lovefood#sharing#vietnamesecrepe#afterschool#dinner

I stopped by for lunch with my partner before we went grocery shopping at Fred Meyer. Phở An has two entrances — one right on Lake City Way and one in the back, which if you park in the private lot will be more convenient. The back entrance is a bit on the sketchy side, but the interior of the restaurant itself feels cheery, lively, and clean. There’s an open kitchen, which was cool but kind of loud with all the clattering. We were sitting near it, though(although the restaurant is small enough that it’s probably fairly loud no matter where you are). Service was great! Our waiter was really friendly. They don’t actually have a combo phở(phở dac biet) on the menu here. I ordered the #18(rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe) with added meatballs. You can get a small or large phở. I ordered a small and it was plenty. There was a good amount of meat in the bowl. The plate of sprouts and basil was a bit on the small side, though. The noodles in my bowl had kind of formed a solid mass, but separating them wasn’t too difficult. The phở tasted good, but it was pretty salty. Condiments on the tables include pots of the red chili garlic sauce I’ve come to enjoy. Oh, and they have a whole napkin dispenser… are you listening An Nam Phở? NAPKINSAREGREAT! You pay at the counter. We were a bit unsure for a bit if someone would bring us the bill, but after watching someone else pay up there we followed their example. Overall I enjoyed my experience at Phở An – and would like to come back to try the banh xeo and other items.
