Peter Brandon, MD

I would give Dr Brandon all the stars in this world if I could. He is by far the best doctor I ever had. You never feel in a rush and he takes lots of time for his patients because he really cares. I got my IUD replaced and even though this procedure is one of the worst and most painful experiences in my life Dr Brandon did an amazing job. The rest of the team is very nice and kind. I wish more doctors would be like him.

As a recent Seattle transplant, finding quality doctors has not been an easy undertaking. To say that I’ve struck out numerous times is an understatement. Well, I am happy to report that I hit a home run with Dr. Brandon. I felt like I was meeting with an old friend – he made me feel instantly comfortable and really wanted to get to know me as a person, not just a patient. He was prompt, friendly, attentive, an active listener, and didn’t appear rushed whatsoever. Gynecological exams can be unpleasant experiences, but a visit to Dr. Brandon’s office might change your perspective for the better. Thank you, Dr. Brandon!

He is by far, hands down, the best doctor I have ever had. Takes his time, answers any and all questions, super easy going demeanor, very knowledgeable, and never judgmental. Also, his staff is incredibly helpful and kind. He makes going to the gynecologist an enjoyable experience… never, ever thought I would say that!

I absolutely love Dr. Brandon! He is the first doctor EVER to actually listen to me and find out why I had problems since I was a kid. Every other doctor just wrote it off as just how I am. He was recommended by a friend and boy, am I glad. He takes as much time as you need and I’ve never felt rushed. His entire staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I didn’t find him sooner.

I was referred to Dr. Brandon from another medical professional and I was very impressed with him. He was kind, informative, and made me feel at ease. He made sure to explain everything and was very willing to answer all questions.
Dr. Brandon is one doctor that will spend more time in the room with you than his nurse (who is also very kind and personable). I really liked his approach to my care and truly felt he had my best interests at heart.

I recently saw Dr. Brandon for the first time and he was fantastic. Without going into details, I was dealing with a difficult situation. Dr. Brandon not only took tons of time to explain everything to me and my husband, but was also genuinely compassionate and understanding of our situation.
Dr. Brandon played a role in the development of the Swedish Ballard Midwifery Group, which I also think is really cool. I will recommend him to anyone seeking a GYN, and when I get pregnant I will see Dr. Brandon until I’m safely through my first trimester.

We moved to Seattle recently and I started going to Dr. Brandon for my female issues. I have been very impressed with him. On several technical matters he was clearly more knowledgeable than my previous OB, who I thought was pretty good. And my visits with him never seem rushed. He has a very open and friendly manner that makes it easy to confide in him.
My only problem is that I am planning to get pregnant again, and while he handled pregnancies in the past, Dr. Brandon now only sees patients up to the 20^th week of pregnancy — he doesn’t do deliveries any more. But he will cheerfully recommend midwives if you are interested in going that route, which is somewhat unusual in my experience with OBs elsewhere. Most OBs I’ve known before tend to look down their noses at midwives.
So if you have non-​pregnancy-​related female issues or are planning to do your delivery with a midwife, I highly recommend him.
