Peridot Boutique

I love this place — it’s my go-​to boutique! That said, I had to remove one star because the service has been spotty. I don’t ask for much but I worked in high-​end retail for several years prior to and while in college and can’t help but get fed up with certain behaviors. For instance the gossiping about other clients while I shop around… very tacky. I think this lovely local business has a real chance and I am a supporter!

First time at this shop. I’ve been looking for a go-​to boutique to shop ever since we moved to Seattle a year ago. The clothes were cute, not too expensive. There were 2 employees working on a Saturday both helping one customer. I was the only other customer in the store and I walked the entire shop looking at everything. Not once was I acknowledged by either of the employees. Most likely won’t come back because of their poor customer service.

Amazing store, beautiful items. I bought a scarf for my wife for Christmas. Reasonable prices and very helpful and friendly staff.
It’s great to see a beautiful store like this on Queen Anne. It’s always seems busy and lively when I walk by as well.

My first time in the employee did not get off her phone to say hello. A couple times prior I went in with friends and had another unwelcoming experience. I think they have great products and want to support a new neighborhood business — but haven’t had many opportunities to do so! Friendly staff and consideration of customers goes a long way, especially in the QA neighborhood.

I love Peridot! I work in Queen Anne and have been shopping there for several years (nice lunch break escape!). Always have great new fashion at reasonable prices. Their new location in UQA is beautiful. Seems like prices may have gone up a little bit, so I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards program, but it continues to be one of my favorite Seattle boutiques.

Can’t say enough great things about Peridot. Adorable, affordable, great quality clothes, and very friendly employees! It’s definitely my go to shop for clothes and gifts in Queen Anne.

Peridot is one of my top favorite places to shop in Seattle. I used to spend way too much money there during lunch breaks when they were located by my work in lower Queen Anne, but it was always worth it. And now that they’re closer to my apartment on top of the hill, it’s the same situation. But their new store is even better than the old one!
The clothes there fall in a nice price range– not insanely expensive, but still good quality. I’ve bought pretty nice jeans there for $ 70, and they sell cute jackets for around $ 150. Not sure I’ve seen anything over that price there. Their blouses, sweaters, & basic shirts are my favorite things to buy. You can find awesome shirts that might cost $ 150 at Nordstrom but are no more than $ 50 at Peridot, and still good quality. Things don’t fall apart after a couple wears or anything like that. They also sell really great basics like simple flowy tank tops with long backs, etc. And BOMB candles & nice accessories/​jewelry. Oh and BRALETTES. The best bralettes. Also, everything is always very on-​trend and on-​season. They seem to rotate things out a lot & not buy a ton of the same thing, which is great for avoiding running into someone else wearing your exact same outfit in Seattle.
Also, the customer service is great– the sales girls I’ve met aren’t pushy, but just attentive enough to help you find what you’re looking for or give an opinion or tips on how to wear something. They’re also fun & friendly– not the stuffy types you sometimes run into at boutiques.
So yeah, go shop there.

Best boutique to shop at in upper QA! I’ve gotten a few shirts, a jacket, a romper, and jewelry. Everything is darling — super high quality brands. Employees have always been cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend!

Peridot is my favorite spot to shop in Seattle. The clothes are always on style, well-​priced, and nicely made. Seriously, if you live in the area and haven’t been here, you’re missing out.
One additional note: I saw a couple earlier reviews knocked the staff for not being attentive enough but in my experience, that’s never been the case.
In fact, when I stopped by the first day they opened at the new location at the top of Queen Anne, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They helped me pick out clothes, took them to the dressing room, and fielded all my coupons with good humor. Seriously, I had like three different discounts to use and they honored all of them; try having that happen at a big-​name store!

Walked in here today to glance around. 7 or so employees huddled together. Apparently one said hi to my friend but customer service here was not good. Seemed like they were discussing business matters and eating which is fine, but schedule a meeting after hours. Dedicate the time you’re open to excellent customer service. One of the employees had their cute dog there, suppose that was the highlight of this experience. Cute clothes too.
