Excellent, flavorful, comforting Italian food. Will be back.

Loved this great little find that we found on Unilocal.Would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling through the area. Staff was incredibly nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. Jesse was our amazing server so ask him.

One of the best pasta places I have had in Seattle area, must try the mussels and use bread to dip the soup! Pasta are awesome as well. There is a small parking lot next to the store, or you can park nearby streets, parking should be easy here. Definitely come back, be sure to use Unilocal discount to get $ 10 off for every $ 50 spent.

TLDR: Watch your step. Really good pasta! Parking left of entrance. Be mindful of the steps in the doorways! Small private lot to left of entrance. Dimly lit, most light comes from the large windows. Average noise. Nice framed and themed artwork covering the walls to set the atmosphere. Complimentary bread and soft garlic while you wait. Not your average Italian food joint. This place uses local business for the meals and they make their delicious sauces in house – man does the food taste great! Gotta love those small businesses! Bruschetta: salty and sour, so the bread is a must! The tang is very refreshing. Pollo piccata: the sauce is more on the sour side, just how I like it! I’m a huge fan of lemon and capers in my pasta and this was the bee knees! The tang was just what I wanted. Oh man will I be coming back! Mista Insalada: I’m not a fan of the blue cheese but the vinaigrette was good. Crab and spinach manicotti: can really taste that crab! Cheese is super stretchy and good. This is a very tasty lasagna!

LOVED our time at Pasta Bella. Amazing food(get the Penne Allie Vodka), great wine selection(London s of local wines), and excellent service(ask for Jesse). Everyone was so friendly and full of great ideas of where to visit. If I lived here, I would go there all the time.

Such an amazing experience, Jesse was our waiter and he was so attentive. The food was incredible, I had the salmon fettuccine Alfredo. Everyone we talked to there was helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend.

This place is good! We were seated at a funny little table — just one booth seat facing the window — a view of 15th Ave. We got complimentary bread(always a huge plus) that was warm and fresh, served with roasted garlic(my breath smelled like garlic the next day… not really complaining though) and olive oil and balsamic at the table. I ordered the marsala pasta which was delicious and a good size! Not too big, and not too small. My partner got a seafood pasta which was very tasty as well. Service was very attentive and friendly– we came during a night that wasn’t too busy though. We’d definitely return!

Ate here last night on a whim for a desire for Italian fare. The establishment is small and outdated, but I personally thought that it gave it charm and character. The server was helping the main dining room floor by himself, an impressive feat. He was kind, courteous and the timing of the food was seamless. If I go here next time, I will probably get the Three Course meal. Our food was great but our bill was expensive. However, that is on us because we weren’t particularly keeping tabs on what we were ordering. The bread comes with roasted garlic(yum). Someone mentioned here that it should be served with butter… in my opinion and experience, bread in Italian restaurants are best served with a heavy dose of EVOO and salt/pepper ;), and that is exactly what we did. No hate, just my opinion! Overall, I thought it was great for traditional style Italian food and I’m excited to return next time. For the food; I really enjoyed the spinach salad with gorgonzola, and the tortellini stuffed pasta.

My fiancé and I have driven by this restaurant multiple times and finally decided to give it a go and boy oh boy am I glad we did! The service was amazing, our waiter was incredibly attentive, polite, and professional. Our food was OUTSTANDING and it was fairly cheap given we had a 3 course meal. I would definitely suggest this restaurant to anyone and everyone!

Tried out dinner here. We started with the glasses of wine — chianti and Riesling. They had a good selection for wines by the glass or half/full liter versus bottles. Wine selection itself was decent. Ordered the seafood combination of mussels clams etc. with Alfredo sauce and the three course dinner. They do offer fresh bread with baked garlic. Interesting. I don’t mind the garlic but butter would have been better for a sourdough. bread was hot and fresh. Only downside is they they forgot to bring it for quite a while. Entrees were ok. Not exceptional but good fare. Nothing to write home about. The desserts were pretty solid. We had the rich decadent chocolate torte and were not disappointed. The food was decent, service was a little sparse. Hence the three star as he prices match other better restaurants where quality of food and service are much higher

This place has pretty tasty food. The $ 10 for $ 20 Unilocal deal doesn’t hurt either. The bread was delicious with roasted garlic to spread on. It’s the hard kind of bread, which I like. I was very satisfied with the gnocchi pomodoro and my chicken Marsala. It was unusual that they had assorted veggies in the side, but they were delicious. I often feel that Italian food has too few vegetables, so I appreciate them adding some. The Alfredo frutti del mar had good shrimp, but overall was just ok tasting. The service was a slow, but the atmosphere was good, so we were just relaxing. It’s definitely not somewhere you want to go in a hurry tho.

Pasta Bella is one of the few reasonably priced yet real, good quality Italian restaurants in the city making it a great choice for dinner out. Love that they start you with bread, olive oil and roasted garlic. Don’t worry about your breath… eat the garlic. It’s good. I always enjoy the gnocchi appetizer for free(see tips below) and usually a pasta dressed in seafood. While the food is good the service can vary widely based on traffic. They seem to struggle when they encounter crowds. Tips: Check in on Unilocal for a free gnocchi appetizer and for deals like a $ 20 voucher for $ 10. If you’re going for dinner make parking easier on yourself and find a spot next door behind Morsel and Bean.

HUGE portions, GIANT wine pours, and AWESOME service. Really is. They were prompt, courteous and had weren’t annoying. It was busy but they made time for us. Went for their Gnocchi Pomodoro Had their special tonight with the beef cutlets and chicken with a rose sauce. Forgot what it was, but it was really good. Loved the convenience and atmosphere. Would come back.

I took away 1 star because we made a reservation at 6:30, but we weren’t really seated until 7 because they are way.too.busy. I would definitely come back to this place again. Great food! Very decent size portion compare to some of the other Italian restaurants in Seattle. We ordered the Egg plant appetizer, it was amazing, the flavor of the cheese soaked into the egg plant! They also had soft cooked garlic that you can spread of the bread which I never had before!(usually it’s butter) I ordered the Prawn Pasta and asked for both alfredo sauce and red sauce, it was great! I had at least 5+ big prawns in my plate. I hate it when you order a prawn dish and they give you shrimp or only give you 2~3, but Pasta Bella is amazing! Our waiter was also great, making sure we’re being taken care of even though he’s super busy. Their Tiramisu also had a great coffee liqueur taste to it and not too sweet. Overall, I’d definitely come back, I just hope my reservation can be honored next time!

I went late(30 minutes before closing) on a Friday and was seated immediately. There were 2 tables besides me and our server, Dennis. I know from experience that the back of the house is trying to break down and clean up so I ordered quickly, a salad entrée and dessert combo for $ 24.99. Nice menu and the 3 course dinner is a good deaal. The salad and bread came out and I was pleasantly surprised at hot delicious both were. So may places just phone starters courses and side dishes in but these were really good. The roasted garlic cloves to use like butter on the bread and the Caesar dressing were both sooo good, but for me it was all about that bread… or maybe it was the salad… then again, those garlic cloves. The entrée, I ordered fettuccine carbonara and it was really really good. The pasta was cooked beautifully, the pancetta… sooo delish, and the sauce… thick, rich and creamy just how I like my women. When I was done Dennis asked what dessert I’d like and I asked him to pack me up a cannoli to go so I could get out of their hair and let them close. He assured me that I was welcome to stay as long as I needed. I was full and wanted to walk some of it off so Dennis packed me a cannoli and a bread pudding as a thanks. Definitely need to come back here and try some of the other tasty looking menu items.

We really love this neighborhood Italian restaurant. The service is always so kind and attentive and the food really is top notch. Their penn cove mussels are to die for — I’d recommend adding pasta to the appetizer portion for a really nice meal. Their pasta is perfectly cooked, their salads are always fresh and cold with delicious dressings, and their main courses are amazing as well. Also, I think their 3-course meal is a great deal and a nice way to try a variety of their different menu offerings.

I ordered 8 different entrees to see which one was better — and which one I could count on as being a steady best of what they offered. Each one failed miserably. Alas, another decent Seattle icon that’s sadly been in steady decline over the past decade plus. In the early to mid 90s this was THE home cooked Italian spot to take family members, dates — even your prom date to. No more. I would argue it’s struggling between Denny’s and«Italian night» at enlisted mess halls on any given U.S. military base. Funny thing, the food looks good, no denying it. But the smell… tastes to me that the recipes I came to know and love once upon a time, are now all made with ‘restaurant grade’ ingredients? Frozen components and/or canned sauces — or at the least pre-packaged somethings? That heavy cream, meat stock, herb, butter-base known in traditional Italian cream sauces just seems off. Like it doesn’t taste… real. The meat is kind of bland as well, and everything else just tastes«blah.» Even the garlic tastes like the pre-skinned stuff that comes in huge containers buys in bulk. The service was horrid. Like our server was doing us a favor for just entering the room. Italian food is the last type of cuisine that should be blah. This is sub blah. In a way, it’s like it sunk to hover 2⁄10 of a star above Olive Garden or Old Spaghetti Factory just to keep a minimal flotation while waiting for a higher power to intervene. — — — — — — — — – 12÷06÷15UPDATE: Guess I must have hit a raw nerve, because Unilocaler extraordinaire of two whole reviews(Charles L., of Lake Forest Park, WA) sent me a cute vitriol«compliment» asserting that I have no life outside of writing Unilocal reviews — and to «keep your pie hole shut» since I «.have never worked in the biz.» Well, Mr. «Charles L. of Lake Forest Park, WA», even if I HAD never worked in the«biz», never instructed at CCA, invested in 5 restaurants, 6 wineries, and 7 other associated ventures throughout Europa and ITALY… what I do understand is it’s a lot easier for some people to lash out at their customers than take responsibility for their work. Your ‘always blame our shitty food on our customer’ philosophy tells me one thing — that you should retire. From the sound of it, maybe you already have. I’d pay good money to witness a Gordon Ramsey critique of this place. Golden!

Italian is my favorite cuisine, and this place definitely impressed me. Not only did the food taste excellent, the quantity was MASSIVE! Each entrée is at LEAST two meals for me. The staff is incredibly nice, considerate, and friendly. I was worried coming here for dinner on a weekend we would see long lines, so I made a reservation a couple hours before coming in. So glad we did! The restaurant was crowded but as soon as we came in, they seated us right away. I will definitely be coming here on a regular basis. :)
